URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Philadelphia, PA Meet Tosh! She is an 1 year old Australian Shepherd mix (other breed is unknown) and weighs 29 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Tosh is fearful of strangers. She is great with cats! She hasn’t been tested around children. No dogs, due to her reactivity! The owner is surrendering her because she is reactive to cars, other people, and dogs. She needs to go by 5/5! If you think you can provide a great home for Tosh, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Tosh. Owner’s Contact Information: Catherine McCoubrey at (267) 972-1121 or catherine.mccoubrey@gmail.com.

Story
Hi, I'm Harper! I'm a cute little pittie with a heart of gold and the goofiest personality around. I am rather timid and it takes me a loooong time to make new friends but man is it worth it! I'm looking for a patient adult only home where I can be the only pet. That sounds like a lot, but let me tell you, I'm worth it! I love going for walks and I walk well on a leash. My short term foster said that I'm house broken, crate trained and I'm an excellent snuggler. Here at the shelter, I go on car rides and long hikes with my friends and I'm always a perfect partner. Do you have a quiet household, without a lot of visitors and want a dog that'll love you unconditionally? You found your match! Email my friends to learn more about me and to get an application.---This animal is available by appointment only - please reach out to schedule a visit with one of their handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Hi there, I'm Nolan! I'm a fun-loving pup on the hunt for my forever home. I'm eager to explore the world around me, play, and learn how to be a well-behaved canine citizen. I have lots (and I mean LOTS) of energy, and I'm still working on my training and can get a bit over-excited at times - that's why I'm looking for a family who is dedicated to helping me become the best version of myself. My foster mom says that I walk well on a leash and I love to learn so a good student is what I am!Ideally, I'd love to find a home with someone who has experience with dogs and where any children are 13 years or older. I'm also looking for a home where I can be the only dog, as I want to be the center of your world. While I'm not sure how I feel about cats, I promise I'm a sweet pup who just needs a little direction and patience. I am housebroken and crate trained. Once I've had my exercise for the day, I'm also an amazing cuddler and enjoy lounging on the couch. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, I could be the perfect match for you. So why not give me a chance and let's see if we can become the best of friends!---This dog is available BY APPOINTMENT only as he is living in foster care. ---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Hey, I'm Newton! I am a handsome hunk looking for my furever home. I am very excitable and have lots of energy, so I could definitely use some obedience training to channel it into being the best dog ever. I have shown a fear of strangers when I am with my people so behavior modification training would also help me out a lot. Having a canine companion may be good for me so I have reassurance and learn not to redirect my nervousness into reactivity. I do ask that any children in the home are 15 and older due to some handling sensitivity and over-arousal behavior. I am not sure how I feel about cats but may be able to live with one given proper introduction. I know I will need some work and dedication to be my best self, but your efforts will be rewarded with an exuberant, happy, fantastic friend. I would be a wonderful addition to your life if you'll consider adopting me!---This animal is living in foster care and available by APPOINTMENT ONLY.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Meet Garret!Garret is an adorable and unique companion. He may get along well with other dogs, but new friendships can make him a bit unsure. While his interactions with cats are unknown, there's a possibility he could coexist peacefully with them. This sweet and sensitive soul can be nervous in new situations, so a gentle approach is best. Garret shows promising signs of potentially being housebroken from his time as a stray. Garret is looking for a home with children 10+.If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who needs extra love and care, Garret might be the perfect match. Help us give him the loving home he deserves, and you'll be rewarded with a lifetime of loyalty and companionship. Adopt Garret and be part of his heartwarming journey to a brighter future.---This animal is available by appointment only - please reach out to schedule an appointment with one of his handlers!---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Story
Hiya, I'm Link! A young boy like me is always ready for adventure, however I am looking for a partner that can take me through the serious training that I'll need in order to be adventure ready. As I was a stray, I can be a bit nervous with new people and I will let you know it. I'm not a fan of sharing my items and I'm picky with my dog friends too, although I may be good with the right one. I enjoy chin scratches and resting with my friends, but I don't enjoy cuddles. I'm looking for a home where all household residents are over 15, as I'm really looking for a family that is dedicated to making sure I succeed in my adventures. If you're interested in devoting time to have the best partner around, please stop by the shelter to meet me. ---This animal is available by appointment only.
