Story
Meet Luna! A Striking, Loyal Companion Searching for Her Shadow 💙🐺 If you are looking for a dog who will truly be your second shadow, meet Luna! With her striking blue eyes and gorgeous markings, Luna looks like a Miniature Siberian Husky (she was intended to be a purebred, but runs a little small, making her the perfect "moyen" or mini size!). While she was recently surrendered to us through no fault of her own, she is ready to find a forever home where she can be completely attached to her human's hip. The Ultimate Shadow: Luna is deeply connected to her people and incredibly loyal. She has plenty of that classic husky energy for walks and adventures, but at the end of the day, her favorite place to be is right next to you. In fact, her dream home is one where she is allowed to curl up and sleep right in the bed with her owner! Her Ideal Pack: Luna is wonderful with children and does great with larger dogs. However, she cannot go to a home with small dogs, cats, or farm animals. She needs a family that understands this boundary so she can thrive safely. House Habits: Luna is kennel trained, though she’ll be the first to tell you she doesn't particularly enjoy it—she prefers freedom! Her previous owner raised her with a doggy door, and she is fully potty trained using a combination of a dog door and puppy pads. A home with a dog door setup would be absolutely ideal for her. On the Move: Luna walks beautifully on a leash and is ready to be your loyal sidekick. While we originally considered her for our Emotional Support Animal training program, we’ve decided not to move forward with it, as she will simply do best as a beloved, dedicated family pet or sidekick. If you are home often or can bring your best friend to work with you, love the husky look but in a slightly smaller package, and want a dog who will love you fiercely, Luna is waiting for you!

Story
Meet Graffiti: Your Future Adventure Buddy Graffiti is a stunning ~2-year-old red Australian Shepherd with a heart full of love and energy to match. She came to us as an owner surrender due to a family divorce, and while that transition hasn’t been easy, she’s proven to be incredibly resilient, sweet, and eager to bond again with her people. Raised in a home with children, Graffiti is already familiar with family life. She’s crate-trained, adaptable, and thrives when she has structure, attention, and someone to call her own. 💛 Personality & Temperament Graffiti is everything you’d expect from an Aussie: ✨ High-energy & athletic ✨ Loyal and people-focused ✨ Smart and eager to learn ✨ Vocal (she’s got a bark and isn’t afraid to use it!) She absolutely loves her humans—you can see it in her eyes. More than anything, Graffiti just wants a person… a partner… a best friend. 🐾 🏃‍♀️ Exercise & Training Graffiti is an active dog and does best with consistent daily exercise. Right now: She runs about 1 mile per day She’s been treadmill trained (yes, really!) She walks well on leash and responds well to structure 💡 We’ve been doing: ~6 minutes in the morning ~6 minutes at night That small commitment makes a huge difference in helping her stay balanced and happy. We’re even happy to send her with her treadmill if you’d like to keep up her routine. 🐶 Ideal Home While Graffiti can get along with other animals, we’ve learned through working with her that she really thrives when she’s: 👉 The main dog in the home 👉 The center of attention and connection She would do best with: An active individual or family Someone who enjoys structure, routine, and engagement A home that can match her energy and give her purpose She’s used to being a family dog, and we’d love to see her in that role again. 🌟 Her Potential Graffiti is the kind of dog who could go in so many directions: A fun, active family companion A recreational or adventure dog Even potential for herding or working roles with the right training But right now, our goal is simple: 💙 Find her a true forever home 🎨 From Our Hearts Graffiti is fun-sized, beautiful, and full of personality. She’s one of those dogs who doesn’t just live in your home—she becomes part of your story. We love her so much, and we know the right person is going to see exactly what we see: 👉 A loyal, loving, high-energy best friend who just wants someone to share life with. 💬 About Graffiti’s adoption fee: As an Australian Shepherd, Graffiti’s rehoming fee reflects the breed’s popularity, intelligence, and demand, along with the care and support he has received during his time with us. This also helps provide resources for other animals in our sanctuary who may require additional care.

Story
Meet Beaux! Your Future Movie-Star Foster Dog 🎬🐾 If you’ve ever wanted to live with a celebrity, Beaux is your guy. He looks and acts just like the lovable goofball from Marley & Me, but he carries himself with the dapper charm of Comet from Full House. A gorgeous Labrador/Golden Retriever mix, Beaux is an absolute sweetheart who is ready to star in his next big chapter. The Ultimate Water Dog: Beaux is a true aquaphile. His absolute favorite place in the world is lounging on the top step of a pool, and he would thrive in a home with a pool, a pond, or humans who love water sports. The Perfect Blend of Chill & Goofy: He walks beautifully on a leash and has a super relaxed, sweet demeanor. Like any true Lab mix, he’s a bit of a foodie and will try to eat anything—he recently decided a pair of shoes was a snack! He is crate-trained and potty-trained, but because of his goofy curiosity, he does best when safely crated when left alone. A Brave Survivor: Beaux has a poignant backstory; he was rescued from the woods after a rough start in life. He was heartworm positive when found, but thanks to a dedicated independent rescuer, he has successfully completed all of his treatments! He is fully up-to-date on all vaccines, flea, and heartworm preventatives, and is currently scheduled for his neuter surgery. Future Career Goals: Because he grew up in the wild, he requires a secure yard and can still get a little spooked by loud cars or bicycles on walks (his signature move is to sit down and politely refuse to budge). However, he is incredibly intelligent and trainable. Beaux is actually a pilot pup for Allegory of Allegra’s upcoming Emotional Support Animal (ESA) training program! He will soon begin his Canine Good Citizenship journey. https://sanctuarydogs.lovable.app/adopt https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZQqP1dBLiJ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== 💬 About our adoption fees: As with all of our purebred or specialty-breed owner surrenders, rehoming fees may reflect the general market value of the breed as well as the medical care, time, and resources invested in each animal. Any portion of the rehoming fee beyond our standard adoption cost goes directly back to our sanctuary to help fund food, medical care, and rehabilitation for other rescue animals who may not have the same adoption demand. Our goal is always to ensure every animal receives the care they deserve, regardless of breed, background, or market value ❤️
