Story

Bjorn is a 4-year-old purebred long-haired German Shepherd from working lines. We got him as a puppy from Von Reich Haus German Shepherds. He is smart, energetic, and loyal, fully potty trained, and well trained with an e-collar. He loves people and used to go to the off-leash dog park all the time. He thrives on daily exercise and having a job to do. He gets very excited when meeting new people and may jump up, so he needs an owner who keeps reinforcing manners. He has never bitten another dog, but he can be assertive and likes to show dominance, so he does best with calm introductions and an experienced handler. We’re expecting our second baby and can no longer give him the exercise he needs. It was a very hard decision. We hope to find an active home with large-breed or working-breed experience, where he gets plenty of exercise, training, and attention.

Story

Cinder was a stray for the first couple years of her life and then spent over a year in a shelter. She was rescued in July 2024 by my (now ex) husband and I. Cinder is the sweetest dog, she is playful and cuddly. She matches vibes very well, if you want to be active and out all day she will happily do it with you; if you need a chill day in bed, she will keep you company. Cinder will become your shadow, following you everywhere you go. She's very easy to train and picks up on things quickly. She loves to catch a scent, sniffing everything, and she loves to sunbathe. Cinder is food motivated and will do anything for a treat. I love this dog more than anything, and now that I'm divorced and in a small apartment, I just don't have the time and space for her. She deserves a wonderful life with a yard and a person that can spend time with her. I am just unable to give her the life she deserves.She would come with everything she needs, bowls, feeder, a crate/bed, collars and leashes, ect

Duke is a smart, curious labradoodle who longs to be a running buddy. He will hang out with you during the day while you work and is excited for a run or a brisk walk in the evening or before work. Duke is dog-reactive and is at his best when he has distance from other dogs and should not be off-leash. Duke is well trained with knowing where to be and when it’s time for bed. He will follow commands for sitting and staying. He is very curious with food in the kitchen so best not to leave anything within range. He loves toys and treats and is super excited to have you home and is a joy to great you when you are back. He can be a little anxious with thunder and will love a friend to snuggle with when there is some thunder. He is ok with any kind of regular dog food and takes his time to eat. He has been in a new home for about 5 months and would love to be in a forever home next. Duke is up to date on vaccinations, not microchipped, and very healthy.

Kai is a 4 month old adorable and happy puppy. He is a rottweiler (dad) and pitbull (mom) mix. He is potty trained and crate trained and sleeps through the night without needing to be let out. Kai is super social and loves dogs and people. Walks are his favorite time because he loves to discover new smells, people, and other pets. Kai has been raised around two kids (a 9 year old and a 3 year old). He knows his name and has mastered the commands of sit, come, down. He is working on place, wait, and off. He is also starting to love fetch in the house, but gets easily distracted outside. Kai is comfortable in the car and loves to visit the pet store and new parks.

I am a very easy going and relaxed dog.I have a weird thing about shadows and I like to bark at them.I do well with bigger kids but as I said, I am uncomfortable in a home with small children.We are now located in the Des Moines, Iowa area.
