Chicken Nugget is looking for his forever home. Preferably without kids but he absolutely adores other dogs! He is just a super cuddly snuggle bug and walks nicely on a leash when given appropriate support. He's also still working on having nice house manners but he gets better every day! His favorite thing in the world... A bone or frozen Kong!

Story
Spirit is a lovely grayhound mix. We pulled him from WVAS shelter after he was found in a closet starving . Spirit has made an incredible recovery and is very excited to find his next home! He is happy to snuggle with you on the couch with a little bit of time to stretch his legs every day. Spirit loves to go on public outings and is such a gentleman on his leash and around the house. He absolutely loves other dogs, but sometimes needs some guidance on what appropriate play looks like.

Story
Brady is between 10-12 years old. He has been an amazing companion for his aging owner, and even cuddled with her through her last few days. He loves to sit on laps, and would be a great companion for a quiet person who just need someone to sit with them. He is very sociable and friendly. He's taken good care of his mom for years, now he needs someone who will give him lots of love.

Story
We bought her when she was a puppy. We did pretty good training her for the first little while and then our schedules got in the way. The Good. She is very smart and has a tone of enery. She runs around in the yard non-stop in circles. She knows sit, lay, stay, roll over, 360 (spins in a circle), and jumps through your arms. She is potty trained and crate trained. She will go right into her kennel and sleeps in her kennel. She loves to be scratched. The Bad. She is pretty aggressive towards strangers and strange dogs. She gets very excited when you greet her and will jump up. She does okay walking on a leash and you can get her to walk in the heel position but we haven't done it a lot so you need to work with her.

Story
We are the second owner of Lucky. First owner’s kid was allergic to fur babies. He is a very gentle dog. Good with kids. He doesn’t really bark as well only when he is excited and he would bark one or twice for that. If you need a quiet dog, he is great! You can definitely jogging with him. He is very healthy and a good runner as a nine year old dog. We love Lucky and want to make sure he has the great care and love from us. But we are getting busier with our young children, work and school. This is why we would like find another family for him. He loves walks, snow and meat. Occasional he would take kids stuffy and dig a hole - hide them. Very silly! Lucky is a great family dog. Come visit and check him out!

Story
Gus was found with his litter in a cardboard box back in March 2020 (~4 Y.O.), and the puppies were taken up by a local rescue. I found his listing through a connection when he was about 10-12 weeks old, and we've been best buds ever since. There is something so special about Gus - he has the happiest demeanor I've ever seen. He always wants to play, is extremely obedient to an alpha, seems to understand everything I say to him, is very easy to teach/train, and is so affectionate. He absolutely loves all people and dogs and belongs in a social environment. We've also gone on several 25+ mile hikes, and he never skips a beat because he is so energetic and loves running around outside. I recently got into business school in Chicago which means that I would need to keep my little buddy cooped up in a small studio apartment all day for at least 2 years. While he is naturally happy, I am dreading this prospect so much! Gus was built to roam and play, so an ideal home would offer that.
