Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, it’s me Briggs Stratton. I am a neutered 3 year old Red Heeler Mix with a heart full of love and loyalty. I love my people so much. I crave their attention and affection. I am not high energy, but I do get the zoomies on occasion. My playful side shines through when I get to splash around in my water dish or water in general. I also love crunching on ice cubes, one of my favorite treats. Speaking of treats, I am not picky, and so gentle when taking them. I also have no food or toy aggression Walks, I love them and I am so good on leash, thanks to a professional dog trainer that has taught me so many things in life. I am excited to show you everything that I have learned from him. I am potty trained, crate trained, great with all dogs. Because of my herding instinct, I would most likely want a home without cats, but who knows, I may like them too! I do have a fear of new people. Once I know you, I love you though. I have made so much progress. My trainer tells me I am smart and have great potential to be the perfect family dog for the right family. A home that is familiar with the herding breed would be best for me.  I would love to find my forever family soon. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ignacio, aka “Nacho” — the little dog with the biggest heart you’ll ever meet. At just 2 years old and 10 pounds, Nacho has already lived through more than most dogs will in a lifetime. An old injury left him partially paralyzed in his hind legs and with a tiny bullet in his spine—but you would never know it from the way he runs, plays, and loves.    Nacho isn’t just surviving—he’s thriving.  He zips around the house with the joy of a puppy, hops on the couch for kisses, and dives into games of fetch or tug-of-war like it’s his mission in life . He gets along with dogs of all sizes, and has a playful, silly personality that will keep you smiling every day. He has the cutest grin when he's snuggled up to a person, happy that that he's got his way. His life goals are the following: to have his own person that he can keep warm with his hot potato body, and to have someone throw a ball or play tug.  Nacho has an unshakable spirit and believes that every day is a good day when you’re with your family.    Nacho is also crate trained, house trained (dog-door savvy) and—most importantly—ready to give his whole heart to someone who can look past what he’s been through and see the incredible dog he is today. He wears a belly band to help with his aim, which can be a cute little fashion accessory, or just be ready with some baby wipes or water if he's nakey. If you choose Nacho, you’re not just adopting a dog—you’re gaining a joyful, loyal companion who will show you the meaning of resilience and unconditional love. Are you interested in meeting Nacho? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Abbi! Abbi is a gentle 9-year-old, 85-pound sweetheart who is ready to find her forever home. She’s calm, easygoing, and happiest when she’s lounging by your side. Abbi is wonderful with other dogs and gets along great with her foster brother—she’d make an excellent companion for a laid-back pup or for someone wanting a chill, loving, best friend. Always wagging her tail, Abbi has a happy, loving spirit. One of her cutest quirks is the way she greets you—she likes to walk between your legs because it feels like she’s getting petted. It’s her own little way of saying hello and it will melt your heart every time. Abbi is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit and stay. She’s also very food-motivated, which makes her eager to please (especially if a tasty treat is involved!) Because of her age, Abbi isn’t super active and does move a little slower—she may need a hand getting in and out of the car—but she makes up for it by being the perfect cuddle buddy and loyal companion. Abbi does have a touch of alopecia, but it doesn’t seem to bother her and she’s currently receiving treatment. It doesn’t take away from how special she is or how much love she has to give. Abbi is the kind of dog who brings peace and joy just by being around. She’s ready to share her love and happy spirit with her forever family. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I'm Lucky Charms! I'm a 42-pound, lovable Lab mix with a lot of heart. I may be a tripod, but don't let that fool you-I get around just fine and nothing slows me down! I'm full of energy, but also know how to enjoy a good cuddle session with my favorite humans. I'm super friendly and love hanging out with other dogs, so if you have any furry friends at home, we'll get along great. I'm crate trained, potty trained, and even know how to use a dog door! I also recently completed a basic obedience class! See how much I have to offer my forever family? I'm a pretty smart guy and I love staying active, especially when toys are involved. Whether it's playing tug-of-war, or chewing on a squeaky, I'm always up for fun. I get along well with kids over 8 years old. I've got medium energy, so l enjoy walks and playtime but also love curling up next to you for some relaxation. I'm good on a leash and ready for whatever adventures the day brings. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Maybel Hi there! My name’s Maybel, and I’m a 2-year-old, 25 lb small-breed mix. The shelter called me a Dachshund mix, but my foster mom thinks I look more like a Chihuahua/Pug — and I’ve definitely got that little bit of Chihuahua sass to prove it!   I absolutely love people and dream of having a person (or two!) all my own to snuggle with. My favorite place to sleep is right in your arms under the covers — I’m a total cuddle bug! I’d do best in a home without small children, but kids 12 and up would be just fine. I’m a quiet girl — my foster mom hasn’t even heard me bark! I’m calm in my crate, haven’t had any accidents there, and do great while my foster mom is at work. I enjoy toys, playtime, and a good game with my humans. Sometimes I’ll playfully nibble at your hands to remind you it’s playtime! I currently live with dogs of all sizes and two cats. Even though I’m small, I’ve got plenty of confidence and don’t mind letting the dogs know when I’m in charge. And the cats I just ignore. I’d do great as an only dog or with other easygoing pups who don’t mind a bossy little lady.   I’m still brushing up on my manners (especially house training), but I’ve made great progress since leaving the shelter — only one accident so far! If you’re looking for a sweet, snuggly best friend who will love you forever, I’m your girl. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Adryan!  I’m a 9-month-old pup with the perfect mix of chill and playful energy, a big heart, and an even bigger smile (seriously, have you seen my grin?).   I’m crate trained, potty trained, and love everyone I meet — dogs, people, and kids 5 and up! When I’m outside, I’m all about romping and having fun, but indoors I’m happy to relax and spend quiet time with my humans.   I’m still working on my leash skills and basic obedience, but I’m a quick learner and eager to please. My foster mom says a training class will help me polish up those skills in no time.   If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing companion with just the right amount of goofy charm, I might be the perfect match for you.   Apply to meet me at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 28, 2025, 3:53 pm
