Hi, my name is Juno and I’m a big loving goofball. I love people and I love to play and take naps. I am not too sure what to think of babies and they kind of make me a little timid. I have a little brother who is crawling around the house and I get scared of him when he approaches me. I do well with other dogs after I meet them in a controlled environment. I am a very easy going and relaxed dog. I have a weird thing about shadows and I like to bark at them.I do well with bigger kids but as I said, I am uncomfortable in a home with small children.

Story

Peter is a super sweet friendly big giant and is currently only about 16 months old. He has very puppy like mannerisms. He was adopted from All Paws Count (aka Utah Valley Animal Rescue). After we adopted him, we paid for him to be trained by K9 Trainer Jesy Limlengco for 6 weeks. He knows commands and is leash trained to some degree. He has a heart condition - Mitral Valve Dysplasia and mild stenosis. He takes three medications twice daily - 75 monthly cost. These meds are diuretics and we need to take him out several times a day. He is crate trained and peaceful with kids, and loves playing with other dogs, although his size makes this desire difficult sometimes for smaller dogs as he gets really excited. He's very loving and a great dog, but changing circumstances make keeping him untenable.

I started fostering Remi after finding him at a shelter last august. I fell in love with him because he is a very affectionate, loving sweet boy. I am needing to get a second job and will be very busy. I am heartbroken but I’m hoping to find him a loving home with a seasoned owner. He is a purebred hunting dog and someone who is outdoors often will be the perfect fit for him.

Story

We got Ellie when she was a year old back in 2017. She is a cuddly dog and loves to lay on your lap and legs. She enjoys playing fetch and chasing the kids around the kitchen. She is very patient with kids. Unfortunately we work in the office more and farther away so we aren’t home as much and she spends a lot of time alone. Ellie isn’t fond of other dogs but she will tolerate them with time - she has done well with other dogs when we leave her with a family during vacations. Although she is getting older she still has a lot of energy.

Story

Thor is a 2-year-old, 88-lb Yellow Labrador Retriever looking for an experienced, loving home, foster, or rescue. We adopted him from the Humane Society in Murray 10 months ago and were told very little about his history other than that he was an “escape artist.” We later learned he has severe anxiety, likely from past trauma. Thor is incredibly loving, great with children, and does well with other dogs. He loves cuddles, fetch, and being with his people. However, when anxious, he panics, may bolt through doors or gates, and has a strong prey drive. He has also shown fear-based behavior when corrected in his kennel. He needs a secure fenced yard, patience, structure, exercise, and someone experienced with anxious dogs. Another friendly dog may help him feel more secure. Our family is facing an urgent move due to safety concerns, and I am pregnant with our fourth child. We recognize Thor needs more love, attention & a bit more space from what our family can provide him.
