Story
Cooper is a great dog, a well behaved 8 year-old black lab mix, just under 50 lbs. I have had him since a pup, originally from Humane Society of WI. He is well trained with all basic commands, and is good with all people including small children. He's energetic and active and loves walks, hikes, and playing outdoors. He loves being around people, and is a ham with anyone that will give him a good scratch. The only reason for re-homing is due to behavioral issues with other dogs. He is aggressive toward other unknown dogs. Once he is associated with other dogs, he is good with them (used to have a 2nd dog, behaves well with extended family pets). I have 2 little children now and I do not have the time/resources to go through training or just risk the possibility of them getting between dogs in an uncontrolled setting.

Story
Lani is a very sweet dog. She is excellent with small children & other dogs. I’ve never seen her get aggressive or mean, even with rough and playful kids. She needs a lot of entertainment and enrichment, as she can be destructive when she gets bored. She does best with a yard to run in and doesn’t like being locked up for long periods of time.

Story
We acquired Charlie from a shelter. He’s about 5.5 years old. We’ve had him for 5 years! Charlie would do best in a home with teenagers and older. He does not do well with younger kids mostly because he’s scared of them and doesn’t understand them. We believe he was abused as a puppy. He can be possessive of his food with other animals but isn’t with humans. However, we trained him to stop that with our cat and now he lets her eat his food. Charlie is a huge snuggler and very affectionate. He’s very in tune with your emotions as well. He loves to play fetch and does amazing off leash. He’s extremely easy to train. He’s very smart and obedient. He is a great companion dog- we couldn’t have asked for a better dog. But we had a baby and as stated, we just don’t want to risk anything. He’s very sweet with the baby but once babies start being mobile he gets apprehensive. Outside of that, he is literally a dream dog. No adoption fee as our priority is making sure he goes to a great home.

Story
Kaia is really just a sweet girl that loves to play and cuddle. She gets along great with everybody including kids, other dogs and even cats. She has the most beautiful brindle coat I’ve ever seen. That’s what made me choose her originally. She’s also kennel trained and does really great on a leash as well.
