Story
Bruno is very playful, loves to play fetch. Eats Purina dog chow. Free feeds throughout the day. Has been losing weight and has a few skin tags in his back. Bruno is kenneled trained inside and outside. He loves playing outside but he will try to dig under the fence if there is another dog on the other side of the fence and if he’s not supervised. Bruno knows commands such as sit, shake, lay down. Do to personal reasons we are unable to keep him.

Story
We are rehoming our sweet pit bull at no fault of her own. She’s 6, lives with a 12 year old and a1 year old. The one year old will get in her face and pull at her and sometimes she isn’t feeling it so she will nip at him, never breaking skin. She’s great with all humans and bigger dogs ( she’s always lived with a Great Dane) or dogs her size but she does like to be the boss so it’s best she is placed with submissive dogs. She is up to date on all vaccinations and heart worm prevention. Fixed. Lives with a cat- very interested but never any issues. We rescued her from being euthanized in Memphis about four years ago, she had a broken femur at time of rescue that she had surgery on so she does favor that side. She also had heart-worms that she’s been completely cleared of from cardiology and has been on heartworm prevention since, she has no other medical issues. My husband is in school full time, I work 60 plus hours a week and we are expecting another baby in 2 months.

Story
Meet Boo! Boo is a 13lb chihuahua mix rescue. She is exceptionally sweet, playful, spunky, cuddly and intelligent! Unfortunately, my resident cat does not enjoy her company- Boo is very interested in playing with her but unfortunately she would prefer a dog-free home. Boo would do well in a home that has playful cats, other small playful dogs, or big dogs that will allow her to warm up to them as she may be a little shy around bigger friends at first. She is beautifully crate trained (does not make a squeak all night!), harnessed trained and has learned to signal that she needs to go outside by jumping up on the front door or standing by the door and looking back at you. She is an absolute cuddle machine and social with new people pretty quickly. She has been through a couple of different homes and as much as it saddens me to rehome her, she is such a resilient and confident dog, that I am sure she will bring immeasurable joy to whoever is lucky enough to call her theirs.

Story
This is Halsey. She suffers from separation anxiety & would do best in a home with a dog or two that are her size or bigger. She would also do well with an owner that WFH. She is very well behaved when she has a human around, but stresses to the extreme if she is solely alone. She knows all the basic commands & a few party tricks. Does well off leash but does not tolerate small dogs barking or growling at her. (She had an incident last year we paid for a behaviorist & really learned what triggers to look for. She is not confident as a lone dog but looks to her owner to guide her through meeting new dogs). She gets compliments on her behavior & obedience in public every time we go out! Truly is such a smart dog & would make a great addition to any family. I am a single woman & have reached my capacity of trying to manage her anxiety with my hospital schedule, she does okay at night alone, but would just bee better off with a family rather than a single person.

Story
We got Sizhu from Humane Society when he was just a puppy. He is currently 5 months old and is quickly showing how much energy and time is necessary for his breed. Our lack of research, space, and time is what's pushing us to find him a new home. He's a bigger breed and we bit off more than we could chew considering we live in a very small apartment. He is still very young and can learn commands with a family who is willing to put the time to teach him. He's very friendly with other animals and humans. He's still very curious about the world around him and we wish we could keep up with his energy, but we work during the day and he spends most of his day by himself. We want him to find a home where he can burn all that energy and take him out to run and play a couple of times a day.
