Good with kids, Good with dogs,
Story
Lani is a very sweet dog. She is excellent with small children & other dogs. I’ve never seen her get aggressive or mean, even with rough and playful kids. She needs a lot of entertainment and enrichment, as she can be destructive when she gets bored. She does best with a yard to run in and doesn’t like being locked up for long periods of time.

Story
We acquired Charlie from a shelter. He’s about 5.5 years old. We’ve had him for 5 years! Charlie would do best in a home with teenagers and older. He does not do well with younger kids mostly because he’s scared of them and doesn’t understand them. We believe he was abused as a puppy. He can be possessive of his food with other animals but isn’t with humans. However, we trained him to stop that with our cat and now he lets her eat his food. Charlie is a huge snuggler and very affectionate. He’s very in tune with your emotions as well. He loves to play fetch and does amazing off leash. He’s extremely easy to train. He’s very smart and obedient. He is a great companion dog- we couldn’t have asked for a better dog. But we had a baby and as stated, we just don’t want to risk anything. He’s very sweet with the baby but once babies start being mobile he gets apprehensive. Outside of that, he is literally a dream dog. No adoption fee as our priority is making sure he goes to a great home.

Story
Brady is between 10-12 years old. He has been an amazing companion for his aging owner, and even cuddled with her through her last few days. He loves to sit on laps, and would be a great companion for a quiet person who just need someone to sit with them. He is very sociable and friendly. He's taken good care of his mom for years, now he needs someone who will give him lots of love.

Story
Rose is a very bright and energetic two-year-old dog who’s dad was a german shepherd/border collie mix and mom was a bloodhound/coonhound mix. She is a huge fan of toys. She loves squeaky toys, balls, rope tugs, brain puzzles, and she could play fetch all day long. She knows sit, come here, and “go to your room” (her crate). She is treat-motivated but she’d rather play. She has a sister she plays with and has played nicely with other dogs who come visit our home, however, she is still very much a puppy when it comes to being rambunctious. We don’t know how she’d be around cats since we don’t have any. We have had her around infants and very small children and she’s patient with them but will take their snacks and give them kisses and hair mohawks. She is still working on her leash training and likes to tug. At night she likes to sleep on top of you and loves snuggles when she naps. She’s good in her crate for a few hours and is house-trained.

Story
Syrah is a two-year old who’s dad is a german shepherd/border collie and mom is a coonhound/bloodhound. She has very soft fur and is the snugglebug of the family. She is very treat motivated and is doing well with her leash training. She aims to please and can be pretty sensitive. She knows sit, come here, and go to your room (her crate). She is mostly house-trained and will tell you she needs to go outside. We have had one or two #1 accidents if she gets too excited chasing squirrels outside and forgets to go. She hates squirrels. We’ve had her around infants and toddlers and she is extremely patient and loving with them. She lets them play with her ears and paws and gives them big kisses. She will, however, steal their treats right from them. She plays well with her sister dog and with other dogs who visit us. We don’t know how she’ll be with cats. Hates squirrels She likes to cuddle by day but at night likes to sleep alone. She can be in her crate for a few hours.

Story
Sammy was found by my coworker at about four months old wandering the streets. She is now a year and is looking for a forever home. She is the biggest sweetheart you will ever meet. She is shy at first but once she is comfortable with you, you can’t stop the endless kisses and love she wants to give. She is happy to go for a walk or stay in all day with you. She loves running around with a dog or by herself. She does best with male dogs but gets along with female dogs as well. She is completely House trained and will only chew on the toys you get her. All she wants is a human to follow around and get pets from. Sammy needs a home!
