In his foster home, he adores the children.He is crate trained, knows how to use a dog door, and has done well in a fenced yard without trying to escape. Shaggy knows sit, stay, and shake, and he is highly food motivated—treats are a great way to continue building his skills.Shaggy may be a little unsure around some adult men and seems to prefer women, so he will do best with patient, positive introductions. He also needs slow, proper introductions to other dogs. With a little time to settle in, Shaggy will make the perfect loving and fun companion. He really is a wonderful dog and we know his perfect home will be thrilled to find him.

Sadie was rescued at the last minute from a high-kill shelter. She is a very beautiful, strong, loving and loyal girl looking for the right home. She is being rehomed due solely to serious health complications in her current home. Sadie knows basic commands, is house and crate trained and respectful of the home. She knows basic commands, is food motivated and gentle with treats. She has mild allergies typical of her breed (no chicken, routine medications).Sadie loves people, walks and couch time. She has received great training and will thrive with continued training, structure and guidance. She enjoys off-leash hikes, outdoor adventures and structured time around other dogs. She can be reactive with certain dominant dogs but responds well to corrections.No small animals or young children in the home, please. Sadie would do best with a breed-savvy adopter who appreciates her traits and is willing to provide her with exercise, guidance and leadership. A fenced yard strongly preferred.
