Story
Meet Cooper! He's a Lovable shih Tzu mix(were not sure what mix we believe he may be a shih Tzu pug or Brussels Griffin mix) He's 4 years old and needs a forever home! Cooper has a lot of energy and needs a home that can give him a fully fenced backyard. He would do best as an ONLY pet! He is not great with cats as he gets overly excited and gets too rough with them. He is very sweet and loves attention! He needs belly bands at first when he gets introduced to a new house unless you have a dog door that would be great! He would be best without young children. 14+ if you are interested in adopting Cooper please put in an application for him. We are really hoping we can find him his Forever home! https://www.fawnsfamilyrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
My name is Rex I'm a border collie. Will be 2 years old on February 2nd. I am well cared for, crate trained, know how to sit, lay down, come to my name, shake and wait. I am up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Full of energy and love to run in the yard. Treats are life for me. Looking for a good home preferably with no small kids. I have been boarded regularly and get along with other dogs.

Story
Gabby, our energetic companion, is around 2 years old. Despite her wonderful qualities, we're reluctantly seeking a new home for her. Our current dog's territorial behavior and the impending arrival of a baby make it challenging to ensure a peaceful coexistence without proper training time. Gabby is a vibrant soul, full of life and love. She's fiercely loyal, friendly, and always up for a good play session. With her playful spirit and affectionate demeanor, she's a joy to have around. Gabby loves the company of other dogs and thrives on outdoor adventures, especially long walks where she can explore to her heart's content.

Story
My favorite things are playing with Jolly Balls, in water and snow, and I LOVE anything that squeaks. I am extremely food and toy motivated, which makes working with me easy and I have learned several commands already. When my foster parents leave me at home I stay in my kennel or doggie area without issue, and I respect barriers like baby gates. I have never destroyed anything in the house, and I alert you when I must go outside. Clearly, I'm smart and I really love to play, but I also love belly rubs and naps throughout the day. I can be a little sensitive at times. When I see dogs on a walk or new people come into my house, I can be a bit reactive. However, with the trust and relationship we will build together this can be managed and reduced over time as I am doing so with my foster parents. I have never met a cat, but when I see them from afar my natural prey drive can kick in. My ideal home would be an active, single pet household with no small children and a fenced yard. I would do best with someone who has GSD experience who can give me the structure, training, and enrichment I need to continue to thrive. Bonus points if you love long walks, hike, jog, and live an active life that we can share together.*Qualifies for Senior-to-senior program*Qualifies for Pets for PatriotsPlease email adoptions@slco.org for more information Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Black Weight: 71.9 Age: 8yrs 9mths 1wks
