Story
💪🐾 Bruiser: Big Head, Bigger Heart! 🐾💪 If you’re looking for a total heartthrob, Bruiser is your guy. This 2–3 year old, 50-pound white and brindle hunk has a giant blocky head, an even bigger smile, and the sweetest personality to match. 😍 He may come out of the gate with a little strength and excitement (he’s a strong boy!), but after a short burst to get the wiggles out, he settles into being a mostly easy walking buddy. He’s very attentive, easy to redirect, and eager to please. ✨ Bruiser’s Best Qualities: 🐾 Very sweet and affectionate 🦴 Treat motivated and gentle taking snacks 🎓 Seems to know “sit” (or is a very quick learner!) 👧 Good with kids — respectful and well-mannered 🐶 Enjoyed playtime with a female dog and was tolerant of her play style 🌟 Rockstar at a recent off-site adoption event Bruiser has that rare combo of strength, sweetness, and social skills that could make him a great fit for just about any home. Come meet this handsome boy at Hopewell Animal Services and see why everyone who meets him falls for that big smile. 💙🐶

Story
🎉 Meet Jingles — Ready for Adventure (and New Dog Friends)! 🎉 Jingles is a 2.5–3 year old, 60-lb caramel-and-white all-American shelter dog (likely hound with a little pittie flair) who is ready to find his forever home — and maybe a canine buddy, too! 🐾 This sweet, playful guy is excited when he first comes out of his kennel, then settles in nicely once he’s on the move. On walks, Jingles takes in the world with curiosity and walks fairly politely by your side in a harness. He enjoys affection, leans in for pets, and already knows sit — a great foundation for continued training. 🐶 Canine Social Notes: ✔️ Shows interest in other dogs ✔️ Walks nicely alongside canine friends ✔️ Enjoyed off-leash playtime with a female shelter dog ✔️ Meet-and-greets are required to make sure personalities and play styles are a good fit Jingles would be a great match for an active home that wants a dog to join them on walks, outings, and everyday adventures. With his young age, sweet nature, and eagerness to learn, he has tons of potential to be an amazing companion. Come meet Jingles at Hopewell Animal Services — and if you have a dog at home, bring them along for a meet-and-greet to see if the vibes are just right! 🐕💙

Story
✨ Meet Kevin — Built for Adventure, Ready for Cozy ✨ Kevin is a 2–3-year-old, 50-lb tan and white mixed-breed boy with an irresistible speckled nose and a whole lot of love to give. Maybe there’s some black mouth cur, maybe some shepherd — what matters most is that Kevin is neutered, ready to go home, and waiting for his person. Shelter life is tough on this sensitive guy, but the moment he’s outside the kennel, Kevin absolutely shines. Out in the world, he’s athletic, affectionate, and full of joy — the kind of dog who would happily be your jogging buddy by day and your Netflix-and-snuggle companion by night. Kevin leans all the way in for pets and soaks up every bit of affection you’re willing to give. He loves people, loves movement, and truly comes alive when he has space to stretch his legs and just be himself. 💛 Kevin’s vibe: Athletic and adventure-ready Super affectionate and cuddly Loves other dogs and enjoys off-leash play with pups who can keep up Pretty sure car rides = fun (he tries to climb into every one 🚗😅) A volunteer favorite who wins hearts fast Kevin keeps getting overlooked, not because he’s lacking, but because the shelter isn’t where he thrives. He’s patiently waiting for that one person willing to see past kennel stress and give him the chance he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who’s equal parts energy and cuddles, Kevin might just be your perfect match. Come meet Kevin at Hopewell Animal Services — he’s ready when you are. 🐶💛

Story
This is my American Bully / Pitbull mix. KING, I acquired him as a puppy from a private owner. He is about 2 years old. Due to personal circumstances, I’m looking to rehome him and make sure he goes to a loving, responsible home. He is a strong, loyal, and affectionate dog who enjoys being around people. He’s very alert and protective, but also sweet and playful once he’s comfortable. He does best with someone who has experience with bully breeds and can give him the time, structure, and attention he deserves. I’m looking for a home that can provide stability, patience, and regular exercise. A small rehoming fee of $100 applies to ensure he goes to a serious and caring owner.
