Story
Cletus and Snickers were born on January 10, 2026, and are almost 4 months old. They are two of a litter of eight puppies. I have successfully rehomed six of their siblings, but I have not yet been able to find homes for these two. Unfortunately, I do not have the time, space, or capacity to properly care for both a dog and two growing puppies long-term. My priority is finding them safe, loving homes where they will receive the attention and care they need. Both Cletus and Snickers are very loving, energetic, and inquisitive puppies. They enjoy running, exploring, and wrestling with each other. They will thrive in homes that can provide structure, patience, and consistent training to help them grow into well-behaved adult dogs. They are looking for responsible, caring individuals or families who have the time and commitment to meet their needs and help them continue developing into their best selves.

Story
Storm is a very loving dog that is looking for a new home as my family and I will be moving soon. She is used to being outside in a big yard and she does not do very well with being contained in small areas. She would be a very good dog for someone who has no dogs and a tall fence. She’s a good family friendly pet. She does not get along well with other dogs but she is very sweet to humans and kids and would be a great dog for protection. Located in Dinwiddie, VA

Story
Meet Theo, the sweetest 55-pound cuddle buddy you’ll ever meet. He is an American Bully and Basset Hound mix, which gives him the perfect combination of a friendly bully smile and an adorable low-rider build. Theo is five years old, affectionate, loyal, and wonderfully attentive to his people. Theo loves going on walks, car rides, running around off-leash in safe areas, and getting hugs. He is very playful, enjoys being near you, and thrives in a loving home where he gets affection and attention. He’s also a certified foodie—he loves dog cookies, peanut-butter treats, dog ice cream, pup cups, and even a small piece of cheese pizza on rare occasions. Theo does have seasonal allergies and mild food allergies to poultry and beef, so he eats salmon-based dog food (his favorite is Rachael Ray’s salmon formula). He’s fully up-to-date on vaccines and comes with his full medical history. Theo is an easygoing, medium-energy companion who would be a great fit for any person or family.

Story
🐾 Meet Dawg (aka Smoke) 🖤 Dawg is the kind of dog who makes friends everywhere he goes. Estimated to be around 3 years old, this handsome boy is sweet, affectionate, and full of love for everyone he meets. Despite everything he’s been through, Dawg has remained incredibly friendly and trusting. He’s been well-behaved here at the shelter and has quickly become a favorite among staff and volunteers thanks to his easygoing personality and loving nature. 🐶 Friendly and affectionate 💕 Loves people and attention 🐾 Has done well meeting other dogs ✨ Sweet, calm, and well-mannered Dawg seems happiest simply being near his people — whether that’s going for walks, soaking up attention, or just enjoying companionship. He has also done well with other dogs at the shelter, though meet-and-greets are required for any resident pups in the home. We have not yet had the opportunity to test him with cats. This boy deserves a family who will never let him wonder where he belongs again. In return, Dawg promises endless loyalty, love, and a best friend who will always be happy to see you. Come meet Dawg and see why everyone here has fallen in love with him. 🐾❤️
