Story
Hi, I am a 4yr old Belgian Malinois that is full of spunk but also enjoys peace and quiet. I was raised around kids and other dogs, and I do well with both! I prefer older kids who understand how to be gentle and respectful, and I get along with other dogs as long as they respect my space too. I’m a happy, easygoing girl who just wants a loving home where I can be part of the family. I love going on hikes and exploring the outdoors, but I’m just as happy relaxing at home by your side. I know basic commands (come, sit, stay, place, down) and I am eager to learn more. One thing to know about me: I can jump, but I choose not to. I’ve never jumped my family’s 4-foot fence because I’d much rather be inside with my people. That’s where my heart is. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side through adventures and cozy nights alike, I might just be your girl! I am located near Woodbrige, VA.

Story
Priest is the kind of soul who does not rush into the spotlight. He waits gently at the edge of the room, watching with soft eyes and a tender heart, as if he is carefully choosing where to place his loyalty. And once he chooses you, it is forever. This quiet, sweet boy has a calm spirit that feels like a deep breath after a long day. Priest is extremely loving and truly enjoys being loved on. A slow head scratch, a warm lap, a soft blanket beside you on the couch, these are his treasures. He leans into affection with complete trust, soaking up every gentle touch as if it is the greatest gift in the world. Though he may seem a little reserved at first, give him a moment and you will discover just how devoted he can be. Priest bonds deeply and quickly with his people. He has a beautiful way of becoming your shadow, following you from room to room, content just knowing he is near you. He does not demand attention, he simply offers companionship that is steady, loyal, and pure.

Meet Banner. He is the center of attention. Last time he was successfully weighed he was around 180lbs. Banner loves tires! No dog toy could ever hold up so throw him a truck tire and you will make his day! He does not do well around other male dogs. He is not fixed. His birthday is Feb 17th. He was Las Vegas born and raised in Arizona most his life.

Story
Hi I'm Phoenix, a fun loving, super goofy male Red Doberman who will be turning 2 years old this August, basically I'm in my prime zoomie era! My mom says I've got something called Von Willebrand Disease (VWD) which just means my blood doesn't clot like other pups. Because of that, my vet recommended that I not be neutered, but don't worry, it doesn't stop me from living my best life! A Few Cool Things About Me: I know sit, stay, come, and down, I LOVE learning, I make a pretty awesome first alert dog bc I hear everything, and I grew around kids (but I still need to watched bc I like to move fast). I am on the smaller side (ppl always think I'm a baby still) and I'm light on my feet. I jump high, but have never left my 4ft fenced yard. I am an INDOOR dog. No outdoor kennels for me please. I'm looking for an active family that likes outdoor activities and taking me on road trips. I am located near Manassas, VA or sometimes Richmond, VA. Please contact my owner for more details!

Story
Meet Roscoe! Roscoe was an owner surrender at no fault of his own, unfortunately his previous owner was unable to keep him due to living arrangements changed. Roscoe was surrendered with his Dad who we have him as a bonded pair with. They are not required to be adopted out together but if we could keep them together it would be great. Roscoe is more on the timid side, he would benefit to be in a home with another dog if not adopted out with his dad as he opens up more when he has another dog around. Roscoe loves going on walks and loves the water. He did live with kids and cats and did great with them. We had a generous person donate towards the care of Roscoe (Redbone coon hound mix, 40lbs a year old) and Hemi (Redbone Coon hound, 62lbs, just over a year and a half). They were both Neutered today, they received their rabies shot, and they are both heartworm negative. They went to Richmond Animal Richmond Animal League today for their care (Thank you RAL for taking great care of them) and the wonderful staff at RAL said they were both on their best behavior and just as sweet as ever. Hopefully this donation towards their vet care will help these 2 get adopted. They are both absolutely beautiful and sweet as can be. Must see in person. Big thank you to Salem's Light for covering the rest of the surgery fees. You guys are amazing
