Story
Little Miss Coco Janelle is a sweet, very shy lady. She is low energy and just wants loves and cuddles. She was a “failed” hunter and was taken in by my family. My daughter has some serious health issues and I work 12 hour shifts. I am not able to attend to her needs as she deserves. She is great with the kids, not aggressive AT ALL! She hardly even barks. She is literally the sweetest girl and needs the right family. She likes to roam and is very loyal. She likes long walks and bed time stories too. I am unable to take her to trips to the children’s hospital because she is not a service worker dog and of course I can’t take her to work with me, so unfortunately she is spending more time at home alone and I hate that. She has never been bad at the house. She does not stay in a cage. She is house trained with pads but really deserves attention. I have her shot records and treatment records. She eats mostly table food, unfortunately, but will eat dog food if she has to. Truly the best!

Story
**Meet Phoenix! ❤️**Phoenix is a sweet, loving, energetic young dog looking for a home where he can truly thrive. He's affectionate, loves being with his people, and has so much potential.Making the decision to rehome him has been incredibly difficult. It's not because he isn't a wonderful dog—it's because he deserves more time and consistency than I can realistically provide.I work as an EMT, and my schedule often means long, unpredictable shifts away from home. Phoenix is still young, has a tiny bladder, and needs frequent potty breaks, exercise, mental stimulation, and more time with his person than I'm able to give. Despite doing everything I can, I've realized my schedule simply isn't fair to him.I'm looking for someone with the time, space, and energy to help him succeed. This decision comes entirely from love, and my goal is to find Phoenix the right home where he can truly thrive.

Story
Meet Simba! 🐾 Simba is a 2-year-old bundle of joy with a big personality and an even bigger heart! He’s incredibly friendly, loves meeting new people, and has a fun, bubbly spirit that will keep you smiling. He’s also a very smart boy and already knows several commands, including sit, down, stay, and bed. Simba is crate trained and settles well in his crate, making him a great companion for someone looking for a dog with a solid foundation. At 2 years old, Simba still has some playful, puppy-like energy, so he’ll thrive with someone who enjoys walks, playtime, and continuing his training. He’s eager to learn and loves interacting with his people. I’m committed to finding Simba a loving home where he’ll receive the time, attention, and active lifestyle he deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and intelligent companion, Simba may be the perfect fit for your family.

Winston is a silly loving dog. He’s very friendly with people and loves to be the center of attention. He isn’t high maintenance at all and is easy to take care of, but our lease doesn’t allow another pet. We just want to ensure he goes to a loving home.

Storm is a very loving dog that is looking for a new home as my family and I will be moving soon. She is used to being outside in a big yard and she does not do very well with being contained in small areas. She would be a very good dog for someone who has no dogs and a tall fence. She’s a good family friendly pet. She does not get along well with other dogs but she is very sweet to humans and kids and would be a great dog for protection. Located in Dinwiddie, VA

Story
I rescued this sweet baby when he was a puppy from a very abusive home. He was being kicked and shot with BB guns, not fed, no shelter and no water. He seemed to fit right in when I got him home, and slowly he began to come around and it was like he’d never been hurt before. He’s a very sweet and affectionate, loving dog. I love him with all my heart, but my black Lab has now started attacking him, and I can’t do anything to stop it. He does not deserve this. He deserves to be loved. It’s gonna break my heart to see him go but he deserves so much better. Please someone take him and give him all the love and support he deserves.
