Bosephous is his official name. He is about 11 years old. He is wonderful with young children. Loves the country and would go hunting and fishing with his dad. Unfortunately due to a emergency situation he needs a home as soon as possible. We are having to leave our home and stay with family but they can can't have dogs. We are broken hearted over this decision but are hoping he will bless another family or find a new best friend out there.

Dax is a 2 years old raised with us since he was 3 months old. He is just an energetic, silly, curious, happy pup full of personality. He is a lovable boy who will make a great companion. He is neutered and updated with all vaccines. He is fully house trained. He loves to play with his squeaky toys. He is friendly to every stranger and dog that he meets on our daily walks. He enjoys going to the dog park and he is gentle around children. He loves to watch TV, cuddle and and likes to sit in your lap while being petting. He is not allergic to any food but dislike peas. He briefly barks when receiving visitors or someone delivering a package. He needs a good family that will continue give him the playtime he needs.

Story
Rocco came from a private seller within the State of Virginia. Both the sire, a 165 lb. Mastiff, and the dame, a 85lb. Lab were on site when I picked him up at 8 weeks old. He is currently 7 months old and around 75lbs. He will top out over 100lbs. He has been a great puppy thus far, picking up a few commands, is house trained, good with both kids and dogs. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep him due to health issues and not being able to give him the time he deserves. He loves the water, likes being both inside and out and has a lot of puppy energy. I am looking for someone who has the necessary time to spend with him . He would do well in a family setting with a fenced yard, kids, and or another dog. The rehoming fee is negotiable, includes dog house, dog bed , feeding bowls, toys, etc. I am willing to do a meet and greet with anyone local to make sure it he is a good fit for both you and I. It is extremely important to me that he finds a good home! Thanks!

Story
You know what makes a sandwich great? Munster Cheese! Do you like cheese? I can be your favorite cheese. They call me Munster Cheese but I’m more of a ham. I’m a bit silly, they say I’ll age nicely and learn about the finer things in life once I’m a bit older. I’m about a year now, imagine how I’ll pair when I’m older. Will I enjoy wineries and hillsides? Or will I still be a sandwich guy? Won’t it be fun to find out?The Henrico Police Animal Shelter is accessible by appointment only.
