Story
Vinny is about 3.5 years old and came to me from my friend at 6 months old who adopted him from a shelter at 4 months old. I’ve had him ever since and have seen him grow into a playful but timid dog. He has a lot of energy but also is very protective because he’s scared of everything. So his new home would ideally be a single person or couple who both are willing to be assertive and bond with him. He can play with other dogs but likes to assert dominance and is protective of toys/food so ideally the other dog would be a bigger dog. He will eat anything and everything that you leave on the floor, so beware of your favorite items 😅 Overall he’s cute and cuddly but because of his timid nature, I’m looking to re-home him as we are looking to bring crying infants into the world.

Location: Glen Allen, VA. Arnie is an adorable Labrador mix. She will offer lots of love to her owner in return for pets, belly rubs, and treats. When she isn't lazing around, she enjoys going on walks with her owner and roaming the backyard. She is properly housetrained, can use a dog door, and knows many words and commands, such as: come, go, no, yes, bad, stay, sit, down, good girl, in, up, and lots more! She is 7, spayed, and up to date on all vaccines including Bortadella, Heartworm, Rabies, and DA2PPC. There will be included her dog leashes, beds, food dispenser, and water bowls. Meet Arnie today!

Story
Steve is truly a wonderful dog and it breaks our hearts to rehome. Steve's only issue is reactivity toward animals, and we are forced to rehome him due to him getting off our property (a guest left a gate ajar) and biting a litigious neighbor's dog A new home would need experienced dog owners, without other animals. Steve is exceptionally good with people and small children - he has always been gentle with our twin toddlers and any guests. He is a champion cuddler, and loves to curl up next to any warm body. He is muzzle and prong collar trained and has a firm grasp of sit, stay, and come. His recall is pretty solid. He has never had an accident in the house and he does not chew or destroy. He is not a digger or a door dasher. He really just wants to be around people and to be able to run. Steve and I are used to running 3-8 miles together, and he is a brilliant running partner. Steve is a perfect dog for someone who wants a running companion or a constant cuddle buddy.

Story
Cyrus loves everyone and everything he interacts with. He is a very high energy dog that needs lots of play and walking time. He loves playing with other dogs and cats.. he wants everyone to be his friend. He is a bit of a drama queen! He understands commands ( sit, stay and wait, especially for food or treats.) I got Cyrus when he was 8 weeks old with my ex boyfriend. I have tried my best to care for him alone, but between work and life caring for him alone has been quite a struggle. I work in a restaurant with unpredictable hours. I also have just moved back in with my parents. I would love for him to have a family who could be home more. He works best with a predictable schedule. A fenced in yard would work best because he loves to run in circles! I would like to keep in contact with the new owners as well.. Deciding to rehoming him was a very hard decision and not something I want to do but I know it is what is best for him.
