Story
Female, spayed, housebroken, shots up-to-date, 7-year old German Shepherd seeks home with people who don’t travel for work. Cici is an amazing dog, but since taking a new job, her owner is looking for the right family who won’t have to board her every other week (sometimes for 10+ days in a row). Cici is affectionate, playful, energetic, gets along great with other dogs and cats, is good on a leash, and will get constant compliments when walked. No illnesses or medication required, other than the standard heartworm and flea/tick meds. Cici weighs approximately 75 lbs, and eats 2 cups of kibble, twice per day. Due to her size/playfulness, she’s probably not a good fit for families with infants/toddlers or young elementary, but does great with preteens and older, and would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can run around freely. She is an excellent “alerter/protector” of your property, both inside and outside. Reach out for a meet-and-greet. She is a wonderful dog!

Story
Meet Kayak: 35 Pounds of Potential Chaos (and Love)Hi, I’m Kayak. I’m 4 1/2 months old (DOB: 9/26/25), currently clocking in at 35 lbs, and yes—I will be getting bigger. Please plan accordingly. And by “accordingly,” I mean more food, bigger bed, and stronger chew toys.At first, I’m a little shy. I like to observe, judge quietly, and make sure you’re not a serial killer. Once I feel safe? Boom. Full puppy mode activated. Zoomies, chewing, testing boundaries, and deep emotional bonds with stuffies. My credentials include:✔️ Sleeps through the night (no accidents, you’re welcome)✔️ Potty trained when you remember to take me out on a schedule✔️ Crate trained✔️ Great with older dog siblings (I take notes from the pros)I would strongly prefer a fur sibling to help me build confidence and teach me important life skills—like how to ask for snacks and how to pretend you didn't say ‘no’. Kids are cool, but please note: loud noises and fast movements make me nervous and can spook me. I’m brave, just not fireworks brave.Cats? No experience. But I’m young, impressionable, and open to personal growth.Important adulting detail: I need to be adopted into a homeowner household. This is because I’m growing, learning, and occasionally enthusiastic about my environment. Stability is key, and I plan to be here for the long haul.If you’re looking for a puppy who will:• start off reserved and composed• grow into a goofy menace• steal your heart, your shoes, and possibly your couch…then congrats, you found me.Think you can handle me? 🤪An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org, let's meet and see if the stars align.Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This beautiful girl name is Delta. She is a medium size mixed breed weighing about 50 pounds and is approximately 4 ½ years old. She’s a very sweet and happy girl who has grown up in rescue and has watched many other dogs come and go. Delta can be shy at first, but she just needs time to feel at home, learn her humans, and what her routine will be. She has been working really hard on-going potty outside like a good girl - some days have just been too cold for her Mississippi footies - but she has made good progress. Delta walks nicely on a leash, took a bath and got her nails trimmed like a good girl, has learned to sit, likes car rides, can be a social butterfly, and is kennel trained. She also likes to go in her kennel when she wants alone time, a nap, or is unsure of something - it’s her safe space. Delta is good with cats, respectful children, and dogs - when given a slow, proper introduction. She likes to collect toys for her kennel, play fetch, and get one on one couch snuggles. You can measure how happy Delta is by how much her butt wiggles from side to side. Delta likes boiled gizzards, but her favorite treat is Milk Bones. She likes to take them into her kennel to eat with her stuffies she collected. Delta truly is a sweet and happy girl who deserves her turn at being the one getting adopted into her furever home.
