Story
Freya is a 5 year old rescue with a complicated history. When she was 3 years old she was dropped at a shelter with freshly cropped infected ears, very skinny, bite wounds, and evidence of recently having puppies. From then, my friend adopted her. In March 2025, I adopted Freya because her owner was moving across the country and couldn't take her with. I only found out about her breed after doing a DNA test, which came back 100% Presa Canario. For the past year I've worked hard to train her and she has flourished but with my recent life change I can no longer care for her. She currently lives on a farm and prefers a quiet life. She has high prey drive, reactivity to strangers/dogs, and separation anxiety that has improved with fluoxetine. Preferably her next owner is someone that's prepared for a breed like her. Freya is a sweetheart at her core and so silly, anyone who gets close with her knows that. I'm willing to support however I can for a smooth transition to a new home.

Pip is as cute as a button, and he is looking for someone to teach him about the world. Pip was under-socialized and did not receive the social exposure he should have in his early months. Story
This cutie is no other than Jolene! Jolene is a happy-go-lucky girl who is still in puppyhood. She's curious, bashful, playful, and adventurous. Like any young dog, Jolene needs a family that can be consistent with training, socialization and exercise. Jolene can be very shy of new people at first. She prefers a quiet environment and interacting with strangers at her own pace. With patience, Jolene comes out of her shell and into your heart. Here's some more info about Jolene!- -Just under a year old (estimated) -Weighs 40 pounds -Great medium size! Estimated to stay under 60 pounds -Can take a while to warm up to other dogs. Would need a calm, respectful player. Once comfortable she will run around & play -No knowledge on how she does with cats - Playful & loving once comfortable. Can take a while to warm up -Suggested for children age 12 and up due to initial caution with new people and "big puppy" behaviors -Spayed, vaccinated & microchipped Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Interested in adopting? Please visit our adoption process page at https://www.oahs.org/dog-adoption-process/ and fill out an application. Questions? Email dog@oahs.org or call (920) 424-2128 ext.108.

Story
Kolby is a sweet, sensitive soul. He sort of resembles a bear; round and huggable. He loves to play and get his zoomies out. He just wants to be around his people as much as possible. He's eager to please, has been very outgoing with new people after getting in some initial sniffs, and is just a fun-loving. loyal guy. Kolby has been at the shelter for far too long, and is hoping to find his forever family. More about Kolby: -3 years old, 84 pounds -Moderate energy level. He enjoys his daily walks & outside time, but if you want to just chill he's cool with that too! Give him some toys & he'll stay busy! - Can be dog selective with dogs - most dogs seem to make him anxious and uncomfortable. Would be best as the only dog in the home. -Previous owner noted that he had lived with cats and did well, but he's had strong reactions to cats that he does not know. He would require vey slow introductions to new cats in a home. -Very well potty trained -Suggested for children age 10 years and up due to touch sensitivity with paws due to prior injury -Knows basic commands (sit, down, shake) -Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Sweet senior Señor has plenty of pep in his step and can't wait to spend his golden years with a new family. He's very people and dog social (may overwhelm some dogs with his exuberant greetings) and he's just a real nice guy. More about Señor: - 9 years old (estimated), 63 pounds - Very friendly and social with people - Plenty of energy, loves walks (can pull when excited) -Loves toys and playing fetch - will drop the ball if you'll keep throwing it. - May do well with other respectful dogs. - Has shown extreme interest in meeting and "getting to" cats and was difficult to redirect. May do best in a home without cats. - Recommended for children around age 8+ due to size, strength, excitability when playing - Very nice, all around good boy - Señor's adoption fee is $105 including tax plus a $25 microchip fee and $25 rabies vaccination fee.
