Story
Frannie is a compact cutie looking for her new family! This girl is about 2 years old and is all about the FUN. Toys, games, walks, runs, you name it, she`s up for it. We think she`d love agility or maybe scent work - anything that keeps her brain and body busy. Frannie can be cautious and leery of new people so a home without a lot of people coming and going would be ideal for her. Frannie would do best with a confident and patient person who is able to help her thrive. She is an amazing, sweet girl and is well worth it. More about Frannie:- 2 years old (estimated); 43 pounds- Active and playful but also snuggly once she gets comfortable-Frannie is dog social but may be best as the only dog in the home because of how intense and pushy she can be with other dogs. She would be best as a `playmate` not a `roomate` and needs to have supervised playtime- Not suggested for a home with cats. She will chase - Suggested for children around teenage and up due to exuberance, active playstyle, excitable jumping, initial caution with new people. - Spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Interested in meeting this dog? Story
Puddin is a whole lotta F-U-N! She brings the PAWty and positive vibes everywhere she goes. She`s a cute and stocky `low-rider`, and she`s stolen hearts here at the shelter. Puddin is pretty anxious here, and needs a home where she can decompress. She`s a somewhat active girl who enjoys her walks and playing with toys. She`s outgoing, affectionate, and has an overall great disposition. More about Puddin:-Approximately 3 years old (estimated)-Weighs 50 pounds -She gets very overstimulated with other dogs and can get too physical and rough in her play. Would do best as an only dog. - Knows `sit` and `shake`- Unknown how she does with cats-Suggested for children age 8 years and up -Moderate energy level-Friendly & outgoing disposition.-Spayed, vaccinated & microchipped Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Story
Nesta is a shy but sweet medium sized girl who will absolutely steal your heart. She`s really not enjoying being here at the shelter and would love a family to snuggle up to in this cold weather...Once comfortable, Nesta LOVES to play and ask for attention. Make sure to have plenty of tennis balls at your disposal. More about Nesta: -Approximately 1 year old & weighs 50 pounds -Needs a slower approach, but warms up fairly quick-Eager to learn. Knows her basic commands (sit)-Very affectionate once comfortable-Seems potty trained-Does not seem to enjoy the company of other dogs. -No knowledge of how she does with cats -Would thrive in a quiet & calm home where she can gain confidence & have structure -Suggested for children teen-age & up due to her nervousness -Spayed, vaccinated & microchipped Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Story
Cash is a sweet and outgoing middle-aged boy. He`s been great with shelter staff during his stay. He enjoys the simple things, like sniffing around aimlessly, and playing with his stuffies. He has an active side and can keep up on walks, but he also has a calm side and enjoys chilling out after a long day. He`s got a goofy personality and will be a great companion to a lucky someone. A bit more about Cash: -6 years old and weighs 60 pounds-Can be dog selective & a very rough player. May do best as the only dog at first so he can decompress. -Has lived with cats in a previous home & did well-SMART! Would do great with training or other activities -Moderate energy level. Enjoys his walks but also knows how to chill. He`s great at matching his humans energy. -Loves to be by his humans & would love someone who is home a lot-Suggested for respectful children age 8 and up as he has some touch sensitivities -Neutered, vaccinated & microchipped Please note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible. Story
Mimsy is a whimsical, fun-loving and ADORABLE girl! Mimsy has unfortunately found herself back at the shelter, as her adoptive family could no longer keep her due to personal health reasons. She was very loved and you can tell, as she makes friends everywhere that she goes and loves people (after some initial sniffs to make sure you`re cool). Mimsy has a great personality, she`s young and moldable, with a motivation to learn. A bit more about Mimsy: -She is estimated to be around 1.5 years old. -Weighs 61 pounds-Can be shy at first but warms up fairly quick. Would benefit from an owner who is comfortable with basic training & helping her build her confidence.-She`s still a young dog who loves to play, is curious about her environment, & needs daily enrichment/exercise-Seems to do well with other dogs. She wants to play & run around. -Mostly pottytrained. Completely crate trained-Suggested for children age 10 & up or respectful children, as she can be anxious-Moderate to high energy level, needs daily exercise but also likes to chill at the end of the day-Spayed, vaccinated & microchippedPlease note dog visits are by appointment to ensure staff and space availability so we can make the best match possible.
