Story
Meet your next bad decision (in the best way). This adorable little boy is Burlebo. This 15-month-old, 14-pound Min Pin mix is small in size but deeply committed to chaos, adventure, and fun. He’s quirky, playful, curious, and always ready to see what you’re doing… and then help. He’s fully vetted (vaccinated, neutered, microchipped—very official), kennel trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash like the distinguished little gentleman he believes he is. He loves car rides, lives for adventure, and would absolutely crush it at agility—tiny body, big main-character energy.Basically, if you’re looking for a pocket-sized sidekick whose equal parts athlete, clown, and loyal best friend, congratulations—you’ve found him.Now accepting applications through SandiPaws.orgApply responsibly. Story
This little peanut is Sassy, she is currently around 11 weeks old. She was in need of rescue with her two sisters, so we agreed to help them. We do not have a clue on what "breed" they may be and are "guessing" she will be medium sized when full grown She is a fun loving happy go lucky girl who loves to play and have fun with other dogs or some fun doggy toys. But is also a huge fan of being held and babied. She is now ready to come to WI and find her very own forever family. Story
Meet Kayak: 35 Pounds of Potential Chaos (and Love)Hi, I’m Kayak. I’m 4 1/2 months old (DOB: 9/26/25), currently clocking in at 35 lbs, and yes—I will be getting bigger. Please plan accordingly. And by “accordingly,” I mean more food, bigger bed, and stronger chew toys.At first, I’m a little shy. I like to observe, judge quietly, and make sure you’re not a serial killer. Once I feel safe? Boom. Full puppy mode activated. Zoomies, chewing, testing boundaries, and deep emotional bonds with stuffies. My credentials include:✔️ Sleeps through the night (no accidents, you’re welcome)✔️ Potty trained when you remember to take me out on a schedule✔️ Crate trained✔️ Great with older dog siblings (I take notes from the pros)I would strongly prefer a fur sibling to help me build confidence and teach me important life skills—like how to ask for snacks and how to pretend you didn't say ‘no’. Kids are cool, but please note: loud noises and fast movements make me nervous and can spook me. I’m brave, just not fireworks brave.Cats? No experience. But I’m young, impressionable, and open to personal growth.Important adulting detail: I need to be adopted into a homeowner household. This is because I’m growing, learning, and occasionally enthusiastic about my environment. Stability is key, and I plan to be here for the long haul.If you’re looking for a puppy who will:• start off reserved and composed• grow into a goofy menace• steal your heart, your shoes, and possibly your couch…then congrats, you found me.Think you can handle me? 🤪An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org, let's meet and see if the stars align.Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Story
Meet Doug ❤️Doug is a sweet, soulful boy with a huge heart and so much love to give. At 5 years old, he’s past the puppy chaos and has settled into that wonderful age where he knows how to enjoy life—whether that’s playtime, walks, or cozy evenings on the couch. He weighs around 47 pounds of fluffy, lovable goodness.Doug absolutely adores his people and loves with his whole heart. Though his past didn’t give him all the love he deserved, he hasn’t let that dim his gentle spirit. In his foster home, he enjoys playing with a younger female dog and is learning to respectfully share space with an older dog as well.Doug has mastered potty training and is learning that his kennel is a safe place—and that his people always come back. He’s working on basic commands and may not be treat-motivated, but affection is his true currency. Pets, praise, and being told he’s a good boy mean the world to him. He’s recently discovered toys and is happy to entertain himself, but after some playtime, he’s more than content to curl up beside you for a good movie. Doug enjoys walks and has very good leash manners. While certain sounds can startle him, he’s making steady progress and gaining confidence every day.Doug is simply looking for the love he missed out on—and if you have that love to give, he will be your loyal companion until the ends of the earth.
