Story
Missy Boo Boo is an estimated 5-year-old mixed breed, weighing around 50 pounds, with a heart as big as her love for cuddles. She came to us as a surrender after being found as a stray in FDL, during the cold winter months—but one thing is clear: Missy has perfected the art of cozy companionship. If you have a lap, it will not stay empty for long. Missy is happiest curled up, snoring softly with the cheesiest smile you’ve ever seen. When she’s not perfecting her nap game, she’s all about fetch—specifically tennis balls. Once that ball is thrown, nothing else in the world matters. She’ll proudly bring it back again and again like the champion she is.While we don’t know much about Missy’s past, we do know she carries a bit of anxiety with her. Because of this, a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and settled would be ideal. She absolutely adores people, plays well with other dogs, but cannot resist obsessing over the kitty—so a cat-free home is best.As with many rescue dogs, especially one of Missy’s age and unknown background, children would be considered based on their ability to respect her space and boundaries.Missy is house trained, potty trained, and kennel trained (if we must 😉). She is truly searching for her forever nap lap—a cozy couch, a gentle routine, and someone who will love her as much as she loves them.If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly companion with beauty, personality, and heart, don’t wait. Dogs like Missy don’t come around often.✨ Apply at sandipaws.org ✨Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt. Story
Meet Cinnamon! This gorgeous youngster is around 8 months old and currently weighs 48#. She has been completely vetted and anxious to finally have a family to love.Cinnamon is an active girl who loves walks and new adventures. She tends to be a little jealous of other dogs getting attention, you can't blame her since she never had anyone to show her, she is loved and wanted. Cinnamon simply wants to be the center of attention. She will get along with other dogs with proper intros of course, but she would be just fine being the only dog. Cinnamon loves tasty chew bones, playing ball and hanging out with her people. This girl just wants a forever family to give her the love and attention she deserves. If interested in this pretty baby an online application can be found at SandiPaws.org, she hopes she can come here on January 4thThank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Story
Meet Trip, he is a 7-yr old small terrier/chihuahua mix! This handsome little 24# tripod is on the search for his own forever home. This sweet shyer boy had a mom who tragically passed away suddenly and left him and a few other dog friends homeless. He had lost his leg prior to coming into our rescue, but this does not affect him at all, he can still run and play and have fun. Trip is a wonderful house guest, with great manners. He may have a little bit of anxiety when he is left home alone, so he would prefer to know another doggy friend is with him, he does use a plastic kennel where he prefers to hang out while he waits for you to arrive back home. He likes a nice calm stroll down the road and then an afternoon cuddling on the couch, he is a pretty easy-going fella. Trip is completely vetted and micro chipped, and ready to find his furever home. If interested in this handsome little boy applications can be found at sandipaws.org.Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Story
Meet Marble, a shining star in the Rock Litter, who is one of six puppies that found their way to Sandi Paws Rescue after being surrendered to a veterinarian in rural Alabama due to their owner's health struggles. Marble is a gentle soul with a thoughtful nature, often preferring the company of her person over playful roughhousing with her siblings. If you're searching for a loyal companion who will be by your side, Marble is the perfect fit. She has a playful side too, with tug-of-war and chase being two of her favorite games, and she loved romping through the autumn leaves. Hopefully, she'll get to experience this joy again next year. As she grows, Marble may reach the higher end of medium size and she has bursts of energetic play, making a home with older children a great match. Otherwise, she'll thrive in almost any loving home. She is up to date on vaccinations, flea and tick meds, as well as heartworm preventative. Marble is making progress with potty training and has mastered the command "down." She'll soon be heading to Wisconsin, so if you believe Marble is meant to be part of your family, please visit sandipaws.org to submit an online application. Marble can't wait to meet you.Thank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt.
