Story
My name is Arabella and if you look it up you may see words like, Beautiful Lion or Yields to Prayer.... I definitely agree with the lion definition ) I am a beautiful girl with a heart like a lion! I was found tied to a tree by a rescuer and she saved me! I guess i was kind of like an unloved and dejected lioness, waiting for saving. And I was... NOW, I am loving my rescue life, not tied to any unmovable object, no more babies to be made, food and water accessible at all time. WOW!!! I am the sweetest girl in my kennel, I hang with a couple other new pyrenees saved recently and I am kind of their best friend and biggest cheerleader! I encourage and invite them to come out and play in the pasture, letting them know that they are safe and loved!! I will make YOU and YOUR FAMILY feel that way too. I am just a special, sweet, confident and loving girl! Adopt me soon!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Iris! Iris is a stunning Husky mix with striking eyes that are sure to capture your heart. She's shy and cautious around new people, especially men, but once she warms up (treats help!), she'll become your loyal and loving bestfriend. Iris is highly aware of her surroundings, always alert both at home and on walks. She requires a patient family willing to earn her trust. When she's comfortable, her cat-like quirks come out-she loves to window watch and might even claim your head as her favorite sleeping spot. Story
Say hello to Opal, the sassy little gem with a mind of her own and the looks to get away with it. 💖 This 3-month-old Husky–Cattle Dog mix has perfected the art of selective hearing—unless, of course, food is involved. Then suddenly, she’s all ears. Opal comes when called (especially if snacks are promised) and is hard at work mastering her crate and potty training. She’s smart, bold, and just the right amount of mischievous. If she wants something, she’ll either tell you in no uncertain terms or just help herself—because patience is so overrated. She loves to mimic her mom and “correct” her siblings like she’s the boss… which, to be fair, she kind of is. Every lesson she “teaches” somehow seems to work out in her favor. Coincidence? Opal thinks not. She is hesitant around other dogs and loves to chase her cat housemate. If you’re looking for a confident, clever, food-motivated pup who keeps life interesting (and full of laughter), Opal’s your girl. 🌟 Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
"not the mama, NOT the mama!!" Anyone remember the cute dinosaur show from the early 2000's?? Well, we said that so many times to our "bottle baby fosters" they just didn't know what to do with us :) But they kept feeding us, waking up at all hours of the night and making sure we were fed and happy and loved..... SO, we are growing quickly and getting ready for our furever families!! Not the mama goes to the wayside when we meet you :D We are happy go lucky pups, Bear Bear is more sensitive than his sisters, he was the shyest pup but has come out of his shell, he is the one who will cuddle with you (until someone else wants to play). Sissies Lioness and Cheeta are spicy girls, loving and playful and Lioness likes to hang out behind things and then cry for help to get out.... or she cries because she is alone, OR she cries because no one has gotten her yet! Cheeta is more independent but will let you hold her and cuddle for about 10 min and then it is back to exploring and playing with her siblings :) As their foster moms, we love these little turds and pray they find the right homes for them. Active and adventurous for the girls and more laid back for Bear! ADOPT....DON'T SHOP!!! WE cannot save more without adoptions!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Lucy came to IAMRA when her owners health and financial situation changed. Lucy is a big, beautiful, 8 year old red headed gal. She is very sweet, we are told she is good with *some* other dogs (so she is picky about her doggie friends) but never met a person she didn’t like. More as we get to know this pretty girl. If you are interested in this dog, or any of our other dogs, please go to www.iamra.org and fill out an online application. Steps to Complete: Complete an application Phone interview to see if we can meet your needs Homecheck to verify information Schedule adoption visit Adopting a Malamute is a serious commitment, requiring both financial stability and consistent living arrangements. Story
Sequoia is a 4 year old red and white malamute who is almost, but not quite as tall as Nova. Sequoia is the outgoing social butterfly and voice of the three and definitely has a goofy side. Story
Nova is a 6 year old red and white malamute that came in with Sequoia and Luna. Sequoia seems particularly bonded to her. While these three do very well with each other, they have displayed some dislike toward other dogs of both sexes, especially when they are together a pack. Nova is a very tall girl and presents herself as the reserved lady of the the three, putting up with their shenanigans and maintaining her dignity. Her clown comes out every so often.
