Story
Say hello to Finn! This adorable pup came to us from a fellow rescue group in Mississippi. He is spunky and full of energy! He would love to find an active family with a yard for him to run and play in. Finn would do best in a more mature home with older kids or no children as he is still learning his strength and how to play. He is a bit shy when he first meets you, but is such a sweetheart. Please help him find the home he deserves!Story:Finn originally came to our rescue from Mississippi! This lively and adorable boy is still searching for his perfect family.Finn can be described primarily as energetic, spunky and playful in disposition. He would love nothing more than a home with a yard where he could run in all day, or even to go hiking with his favorite people! He is highly trainable and ready to learn more commands together with you. Finn would make a very sweet addition to a household.Finn is an active and loyal, 2-year old Alaskan Husky mix that is available for adoption.---------------------------------------------------THE FIRST STEP IN OUR ADOPTION PROCESS:FILL OUT AN ONLINE APPLICATION at https://wright-wayrescue.org/adoption-application-page- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 1 week.- Once your application is approved, an email will be sent to you. Yes, I have a pretty face, but I’m also smart as a whip, which means my forever family should have experience with active breeds that need both physical and mental stimulation. Training and agility classes would be idea for me and I love going on nature hikes and swimming in the lakes and nearby dog parks. I also have a keen sense of my surroundings; I’m attentive and curious about new people and places. My ideal home should include a fenced yard. I love to run and play outside, enjoy long walks, rides in the car, and can also hang out at home with people. If you’re active, plan to take me with you! A balance of outside time and being with people is a perfect mix for me, but I’m nothappy when left at home alone. I’m at my best when I can count on being with my loving family. My favorite indoor pastime is chewing a strong Nylabone because it helps manage my young teeth. I also love tennis balls and tough squeaky toys. Going to doggie daycare is a real treat because I really enjoy playing with other dogs. I’ve been given high marks for good behavior at daycare. I would be happy as a sole dog with a single person or a family that has solid dog experience. If there’s another dog in the house, my best companion is a soft-hearted adult retriever or retriever-like dog between 2-6 years old. I like adult female dogs, too, but they can be put off bymy good looks, charm, and sharp mind. Yes, they’re jealous and don’t always like me. But, I keep trying because I like them. I am spayed and microchipped along with a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. My adoption fee is $325. For more information or if you would like to meet me, please fill out an adoption survey at carenorthshore.org/dog-adoption-survey. Love and Licks  SierraMarch 26, 2024, 7:40 pm

Story
Top of the mornin' to ya! It's me Mullen, the most pleasant lad you'll ever meet! You don't hear about many Irish Siberian Huskies now do ya? But, here I am! With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations. However, I am very smart and learn quickly!! Some basic information about Mullen; he is male, Siberian Husky mix, and expected to be medium-sized (20-59lbs). Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Hello there, I'm Ruben - no sandwich associations needed! While I may not be a tasty deli treat, I am quite the catch. Think of me as a unique blend, like a Husky with a twist! As a husky mix, I come with a beefy build, striking markings, and a personality that's as distinctive as the flavors in your favorite reuben sandwich. At heart, I'm a cool and energetic guy who's seen a lot in my young life. Now, I'm on a quest to find the perfect family to call my own. With an abundance of love and vitality, I'm a friendly fellow who gets along with just about everyone. I'm like the ideal side dish to complement your family's recipe for happiness. So, don't wait - place your order for a lifelong companion, and let's embark on this adventure together! Story
You remember the 80's, the car named Kit?? Had David Hasselhoff as his driver and sure had a lot of fun and adventures :) I kind of LOOK like David Hasselhoff (if I do say so myself) and I am SMARTER than the car, Kit!! Again, if I do say so myself :D So, speaking of cars.... i was run over by one (or maybe it was a truck :( I don't remember, all I know is I ended up in a bad way and at the pound. Both my back legs broken and my hip was dislocated as well. That is how the rescue found me, my beautiful David Hasselhoff eyes pled through the sad photo and the rescue chick said, "uh, yes, lets save sweet boy". And that is how my life BEGAN again! I have had my hip surgery, called an FHO, and that was on my GOOD LEG!!! But as God would smile His favor on me, my other leg started HEALING WELL while I recovered from the surgery! Therefore I did not have to have my other leg amputated!! As a pup, the ability of my body to heal is amazing! So, here I am! Ready for adoption! I do have a hitch in my giddyup, but really nothing compared to how I was after the accident. I am a SURVIVOR!! His foster mom states, " Kit is an amazing pup, smart and determined! He taught himself the doggy door in one day, is good with the kitties, great with all other dogs and all people. He will be missed in his foster home, he has the determination of a tough pup and the sweet love of a spoiled pup :) Whoever adopts him will have a great companion!" AdOPT the BROKEN pups, THEY WILL LOVE YOU EVEN MORE!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
