Story
Sassy and her brother Blue came from a situation where they lived outside in a fenced in yard, but didn't have a lot of socialization. Their human passed away and that is why FOCCAS took over care. The two of them started out very shy and wary of everyone. Since being at the rescue, they have learned to trust people. Sassy is still on the shy side, but she looks forward to walks using a gentle leader, treats, and attention from volunteers. She would love to be adopted by a patient person who can continue building up her confidence. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Local adoption fee is $300.If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to Your Browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN. Story
Cassidy is a middle aged husky mix with low to medium energy. She is a sweet thing looking for a family to match her easy-going nature. She is not looking for a crazy-good time. Someone who will take her on easy walks, give her coat a brushing, and love her unconditionally is what she has in mind. If you can provide that for Cassidy, then FOCCAS would like to hear from you!FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Rose is a gentle soul who takes her time getting to know new people, but once she feels safe, her sweet and loyal nature really begins to shine! She’s most comfortable when given space to settle in at her own pace, and she feels more at ease with people she’s had the chance to build trust with. Rose may need a few visits to truly warm up, but for the right person or family, she’s well worth the wait! She’s not particularly interested in toys or treats, but if you’ve got hotdogs, you might just be her new best friend! Rose is looking for a patient and loving home that will give her the time she needs to feel comfortable, and in return she’ll give you her whole entire heart! Weight: 47 lbs Spayed/Neutered: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Yes! Microchipped: Yes! Housebroken: Yes! They will potty outside every time or nearly every time (rarely has accidents). Crate-trained: Yes! They will settle in the crate easily and are comfortable staying in it for 4+ hours. Leash behavior: Good! They enjoy walks and are easy to handle while on leash. Dog sociability: They like them! They enjoy the company of dog friends, but would be just as happy to be an only dog in the home. Cat sociability: Unknown! They have never met another dog while in foster care. Kid sociability: No kids, please! They are afraid of kids or reactive toward them, or they have a history of behaviors that make them incompatible with children. Likes: Hot dogs, walkies, being a silly goose Dislikes: Sharing If you’d like to meet Rose, please fill out an adoption application at animalcareleague.org/adoptions and send us an email at adoption@animalcareleague.org!

Story
Are you looking for a snuggle friend? Well look no further!  Snuggles is here to full fill all your snuggle needs!   Snuggles is 10 years young and approx 50lbs.  Originally adopted from us in 2015 Snuggles was found as a stray in the western suburbs by the police dept. When her microchip was scanned and the owners contacted they said they did not want poor Snuggles back.  According to the owners, Snuggles was the victim of their divorce and was no longer wanted.  Neither party wanted the dog back - their dog of 10 years.  We are sad for Snuggles as none of this was her fault. Unfortunately, this is a sad story we hear over and over again and a top reason why so many dogs are sitting in shelters across the country. Thankfully we were contacted and asked if we would take Snuggles back since she was originally one of ours and we of course said yes! Once a Magnificent Mutt - always a Magnificent Mutt!  Foster home update:  Snuggles is a calm mature lady who still has some pep in her step. She enjoys going for walks and gets along well with the resident dog.  After a walk or a little time in the yard she lays down in a totally relaxed half sploot. Snuggles loves scratches especially behind her ears. She has great house manners and doesn't mind being left alone.  Snuggles has a reduced adoption donation of only $100 in hopes of helping this lady find her home sooner than later!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment.  Thank you for your interest!                    If you are interested in adoption, please complete the "Application to Adopt" which can be accessed from this link: (   www.magnificentmutts.org )  No phone calls please, emails only. Adoption donations range between $360-$400 (cash only), unless otherwise noted. Prices are subject to change, please contact for specific adoption donation. Please visit www.magnificentmutts.org for the online dog application. July 27, 2026, 11:46 am
