❤️🐾 Hi, I’m Anna! 🐾❤️I’m a beautiful 2-year-old, 52-pound girl, and I’m on a mission to discover just how wonderful life can be. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but once I figure out that you’re kind and that I can trust you, my sweet personality starts to shine. ❤️One of my very favorite things is holding hands. 🥹🤝 If I like you, I’ll gently reach out for your hand and stay right beside you. It’s my special way of saying, “I trust you. Please stay with me.”I’m also pretty smart! 🧠 I already know how to shake, and I’m eager to keep learning new things when I feel safe, loved, and comfortable. And I’m quite the well-rounded girl! I’m:🐶 Great with other dogs🐱 Good with cats👧 Good with kids🏡 Housetrained❤️ A wonderful cuddler🧠 Smart and eager to learn🤝 An expert hand-holderRight now, I’m being treated for heartworm, so I have to take it easy while my body gets healthy. My foster family is helping me enjoy a quiet routine, and I get to safely explore the fenced yard at my own pace. 🌿🐾You see, I was found as a stray, so I’m still learning that people can be gentle, kind, and trustworthy. Every day, I’m learning a little more—and watching me come out of my shell has been pretty special.I may not run up to you and say hello right away. I might need a little time to feel comfortable. But if you’re patient with me and give me the chance to get to know you, you just might find me reaching out for your hand. ❤️All I’m looking for is a family who will be patient with my shy heart, love me exactly as I am, and give me the time I need to blossom.I have so much love waiting inside this little shy girl. I just need someone willing to take my hand. 🐾❤️***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Anna is Heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment. Once her treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized. Once her adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on her treatment progress until she has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Anna will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. If you are interested in adopting Anna, please fill out an adoption application.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Well, hello! My name’s Scarecrow, and although I’m a smart boy, it’s definitely a no-brainer that I’d love to be your best friend forever! I’m a sweet, affectionate boy and I’m always ready for fun, cuddles, and snack time. Seriously, if you have treats, you’re automatically my favorite. I’ll happily show off my puppy skills or do extra training for a sweet treat. I love to play but playtime is over, I turn into a total cuddle bug. I love to soak up all of the attention and cuddles that I can. Yes, they named me Scarecrow, but I’m not scary at all, I’m harmless. I mean, come on, I’m tiny! I think you know the smart decision would be to choose me, so what do you think?--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Hi there, future best friend! 🐾My name is Belize and I’m a sweet, athletic pup who is quickly discovering just how wonderful life can be when you’re loved. I’m still learning a few things, but I’m a fast learner—and I’m having a lot of fun along the way!If you’re looking for an adventure buddy, I might be your dog. I LOVE being outside, going for walks, and showing off my athletic side. I’m good on a leash and have recently made another exciting discovery: I LOVE WATER! Swimming is officially on my list of fun things. 🌊Fetch? Absolutely. Toys and bones? Yes, please! I’m pretty good at keeping myself entertained (well… as good as a puppy attention span allows 😉). I also enjoy treat puzzles and think they’re a fantastic way to put my clever little brain to work. When I’m learning new tricks, I’m very gentle when taking treats—because I know good manners can lead to delicious rewards!I’m also learning that a couch is not just furniture… it’s a wonderful place to hang out with my people. 🛋️❤️ I’m a very sweet pup, and I’m starting to understand what it feels like to be cared for, safe, and loved. I’m soaking it all in and quickly learning that being someone’s beloved dog is pretty amazing.I currently live with cats and do well with them, and I’m believed to be good with other dogs, too. There aren’t any young kids in my foster home, but I’m believed to be a good fit for kiddos as well.I’m still working on my potty training and crate training, so I’ll need a family who understands that puppies don’t come with all their life skills installed. I promise I’m working on it!I’m playful, agile, curious, affectionate, and ready to keep learning. Most of all, I’m a very sweet pup who is discovering that the world can be a pretty wonderful place—and I’d love nothing more than to find the people who will help me keep discovering it. 💕🐶Are you ready to be my favorite person?--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi, I'm DemiI'm an 8-year-old pit bull/lab mix, and I'm looking for my next forever home. My family loves me more than anything, but some medical needs in the house mean they can't give me what I need anymore — and that's breaking their hearts as much as it's breaking mine.A little about me: I'm black with white markings that make me pretty easy to spot — a white snoot, white paws, and a sweet little white patch on my upper back and the tip of my tail. I'm about 60 lbs of solid, cuddly dog.I've got quite the story. I came up to MN as a rescue already pregnant, and gave birth to 7 puppies shortly after arriving. As if that wasn't enough, I then helped take care of 7 more newborn pups who needed a foster mom. I'm a total natural at it — a great momma dog through and through, gentle and patient with babies of all kinds.I'm great with kids and adults — I genuinely love people and soaking up attention. My favorite spot in the world is lounging in the sun in a fenced backyard, so if you've got one of those, I'll be your new best friend instantly.A few things my family wants you to know:- I'm fully potty trained and can be trusted with free roam of the house when you're out- I'm still working on my reactivity around other animals — I'd do best as an only pet, or with a family willing to keep working with me on this-I love walks, but have reactive moments around other animals, so most of my walks are around my big back yard! I love to explore the woods. - I'm an occasional counter surfer if food gets left within reach (I have no shame about this)- I'm vocal sometimes and totally silent other times — you'll get to know my moods- I'm up to date on all my shots, and I'm a recovered heartworm dog with no lingering health issues!I'm looking for a patient, loving family who can give me the space, structure, and time I need. If that's you, I promise I'll give you my whole heart. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedure completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $300To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hi! I’m Taytum! I’m brand new to Minnesota and I’m looking for my perfect humans. I have just recently made the long journey here with my sister, Tate. We were living on our own together on the streets and some people found us and said that they were going to help us find forever homes. For now, I’m staying with a foster family and let me tell you- life is good! I have a foster mom, dad, two human brothers (ages 8 and 10) and two foster-pup sisters. When I first came here, I missed my sister a lot, but thankfully the two resident dogs here welcomed me and we run and play all over the yard! I really like having another dog with me to show me around and help me gain confidence. I get along with all the people in my house now that I’ve warmed up and learned to trust them. They’re so nice to me and even though I was nervous at first, now I’m comfortable to jump up on the couch and ask for pets. Sometimes they give me snacks called “cheese” and “chicken” and I can say with confidence that it is so much better than anything I ever found in Alabama. I have also discovered so many things I never even knew existed! Couches?! A comfy dog bed just for me?! Toys?! TREATS?!! Holy buckets, I missed out on a lot for the first 9 months of my life but I’m catching on and catching up on the good life. Because I’m brand new to domesticated life, I’m still learning all the things. I think I have the “go potty outside” stuff down. I have only ever gone potty outside, and I’ve gotten the hang of waiting by the door when I want to go out. That’s pretty easy. I don’t mind my kennel. I enjoy some treats to get me in there, but I’m totally chill once I’m in it and I think it feels safe and cozy. I sleep in there all night and when my people have to leave the house during the day. The leash walking thing is something I don’t totally understand. Like, I get that you want to exercise, but I just really love running free in the backyard. I think maybe if we get some more treats worked into the process, with practice- I’ll be a good walker. I’m looking for my forever family to bring me home and teach me all I need to know to be a good dog. I am loveable, playful, loyal, and eager to learn. Are you looking for a good sidekick who will always be there for a snuggle… or roll in the dirt with you (if you so choose)? --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
