No tricks, just treats, I think we should meet! Hi! I'm Tigger. I recently came from Alabama, where I was found as a stray hanging out behind a church. I'll never forget that day this wonderful lady called out to me and brought me home! I've been ""bouncing"" for joy since! My foster homes have had great dog friends for me to play with, and I love chasing balls and bubbles with them! I will use my little brother as my own personal hurdle when I get excited, that's why they call me Tigger. I don't play with my cat siblings, I just leave them alone. My foster mom says I'm super easy to love. I'm potty trained and LOVE being outside. I do great in the car, jump right in even! I eat all my food and play with all my toys. I love my toys so much, I do try to hide them from my siblings, but I'm a cute hoarder!!!If you're looking for a cuddly bundle of joy, you found it with me!!!! I'm almost 2, so I'm not getting any bigger, and I'm so soft!!!!! Once his treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized. Once his adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on his treatment progress until he has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure his heart rate is not elevated due to high-energy play or exercise. Tigger will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter. If you are interested in adopting Tigger, please fill out an adoption application. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time.Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
