I can tell you she is afraid of thunderstorms. I’ve only had her for a short time until I got sick.

Would you like to foster her while we look for her forever home? We pay for all expenses and guide you through the process. This sweet little girl would do best in a quieter home with no small children — older kids or a calm adult home would likely make her happiest. She gets along well with other dogs. Honestly, it’s very clear Shadow was once someone’s beloved pet. She knows the words “potty,” “bedtime,” “treats,” “sit,” and “down.” She’s wonderfully familiar with car rides and absolutely loves curling up on laps for cuddles. Shadow is the kind of dog who just wants to be close to her people and feel safe and loved again. We know this transition has been confusing for her, but she’s handling it with so much sweetness and trust. Please help us find this deserving girl the peaceful forever home she deserves. Sweet and Salty that’s me! 9 pound 3 years old Shih Tzu mix. My name Napoleon fits me well as I have many of the same strong personality characteristics as that general. I was found as a stray and now looking for my forever home. I am neutered, up to date on all my vaccines. I am 95% housebroken. I like to play with toys and balls, get along with other small dogs, big dogs freak me out and are a no go. We don’t know about cats. I love to cuddle and sit on your lap, I will follow you from room to room. I don’t like my face touched. I hate the crate but will be ok to be gated to the kitchen area when my foster parents are out. I am an escape artist, so watch me carefully around open doors, a fenced yard or leash walks are important. I will bark at the door and loud noises. I am going to training and I have been told I am very smart. I have already learned sit, come (mostly), and “leave it”. I walk nicely on a leash. Continued training is required with my new family. I will need to get groomed frequently. My perfect forever home is an young adult home, no small children please, who will continue my training. I am 15 lbs, and I am looking for my forever home. Meet King! This adorable white-and-beige Shih Tzu may be small, but he carries himself with sweet, regal charm. Just over a year old, he’s full of playful energy, affection, and gentle manners that make him a joy to be around. King is house- and crate-trained, politely announcing potty time by waiting at the door with a soft cry. He loves walks, car rides, belly rubs, and even bath time. He’s lived happily with adults and young children, is friendly with everyone he meets, and knows “sit” and “give paw.” With only a need for hypoallergenic shampoo for his sensitive skin, this little royal is ready to rule a new home with love and loyalty. Adoption Donation: $550 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended.
