Little Luna was given away for free in a Walmart parking lot. Her founder couldn’t keep her and rehomed her to another family however they were already over loaded with animals. Luna ended up pregnant and her family turned to Tails for help. All of Lucas babies found homes of their own and now its her turn! She is a high energy girl who loves ALL the attention! She is a spunky, chunky little lap dog weighing between 25-30 pounds. Little Luna is very child and dog friendly. She is such a sweetheart! Luna is not potty trained however she is very smart and treat motivated and will catch on quickly! Hi, I'm Chorizo! I'm an 9 year old male Shih Tzu and all 15 pounds of me are very cute! I enjoy going for walks and meeting other dogs - I will give them a good sniff hello! I like to keep an eye on my foster family - I watch them and follow them around the house making sure all is well. I also love to chase my stuffed frog. Sometimes, I like to grab my foster mom's slippers and take them for a little spin around the house, too :) I like to be near my foster mom when she's working or if she's relaxing in the living room - I make sure to be near her! With patience and time, I have come out of my shell in my foster home, so I hope my forever family will also give me the time I need to feel comfortable and show my true personality. Someone who understands I need time to acclimate and trust would be my ideal forever human! I am on medicine for some arthritis in my hips which is helping my foster family get to work on potty training me and I am doing so well doing my business outside! I have dry eye but that can be treated easily with some drops that the vet gave me! I would do best in a home without stairs, and I would love to have a dog sibling to show me the ways of family life. I am a quiet and cute little man, so I'd be fine with an apartment or townhouse - no worries that I'll disturb your neighbors! Please apply to meet me! Alumni Super Sweet Senior, Mickey Seeking A Forever Home! Poor Mickey! Through no fault of his own he has had at least 4 homes! We found him in 2016 at a community free access shelter at the height of the canine flu! Not only was that a strike against bim but he had broken toes and was next in line to the euth room. We got him our in the nick of time. We covered his medical care. He improved, and healed and landed a lovely new Mom. Sadly Coved him and his mom passed. The family sent Mickey to live with a family friend that adored him. Sadly, his new Mom fell ill and needed to relinquish him to us. No Micky is on the hunt for a forever family that won't let him down. Mickey is a very gentle boy that loves everyone. He is pretty quiet, happy to take long naps in between wandering around the yard, sitting on a deck or taking a walk. He is also happy to nap with you and the family cat! He is quiet and always hoping yummy food might drop his way. He gets along with everyone. He was pee pad trained which might be helpful. We estimate he is 14ish.. He is a healthy fella although has had some allergy issues in the past and recovered IVDD. Mickey is fully vetted, He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is heartworm negative, His adoption donation is $450.00. He is on the hunt for his own completely committed family, Little Dogs can live to be 25 years old so he wants to be sure al for better or for worse! We adopt in the local Chicago metro area. Trent is a 10 year old Shorkie, and Chino is a 13 year old chihuahua mix. Both dogs are very well behaved and mild mannered. They came to Famous Fido Rescue by no fault of their own. Due to medical situation their guardian was no longer able to physically care for them. They unfortunately had no relatives or friends to help take over their care either. Trent and Chino are sad to lose the only home and person they have ever known, but they are very friendly, social dogs and we think they’d warm to almost anyone. As senior dogs, many people might overlook them, but they deserve to have the opportunity for the rest of their lives to be filled with happiness, joy, and love. We know they will return the favor tenfold! This pair is about 10lbs each and might be considered in a home with other small dogs, cats and kind children who understand animals' ques, needs and boundaries. The adoption fee is $250 each dog.
