History: Our Out of the Cold Rescue Effort was a great success in welcoming over 180+ animals to rescue from rural areas in North Dakota before the cold set in. These animals are all so deserving and thankful to get a second chance in finding a forever home of their own! A Note from the Foster: Meet Owen - a spunky, 10-week-old puppy who is eager to find his forever home. He’s playful, curious and sometimes cautious as he explores his new world, entertains himself with a toy, wrestles with his brother and cuddles with his people. Owen is just getting started with potty training but is catching on. He sleeps in the crate at night and will happily take breaks there during the day. Mealtime is one of his favorite things! His love of food will be a great tool as he starts to work on training and commands. As with all young puppies, Owen will benefit from continued socialization and plenty of positive reinforcement as he grows. He’s a very sweet boy and will make a wonderful companion for a family ready to guide him through puppyhood and beyond!

Ace has been with us since he was one. He would love to go to an active home where he can run and play fetch. As a herding dog he needs the exercise! We have to let Ace go to a new home due to our living situation. He’s incredibly smart, knows most basic commands and loves being on a schedule. He has done great with our young children but has never been in a home with another animal. Thank you for considering Ace, he’s a lovely dog and our family wants him to go somewhere where he’ll be loved.

DOB: 7/10/25 Breed: Heeler Mix Weight ~20 lbs Microchipped, Vaccinated Characteristics: Affectionate, Silly, Playful (but needs a nap after), curious and oh so cute. Kennel Trained and really close to potty trained - Bessie comes when I call her with a little whistle and she sits and takes treats like a champ. She does have her moments of bark fever, she usually has to go to her room at that time because mama works from home, but she settles right in and acts like the perfect puppy. Bessie is a happy go lucky, silly, zoomie loving puppy who has the perfect bit of fun, playful and enjoys her rest time. She is fostered in a home with an 8 yo lab mix, Aunt Simone and they just love enjoying time running around in the back yard, digging holes to hide her bones and relaxing in the sunshine.
