"She ran calling "WILD.....FIRE"!! That is a haunting song.... I promise, though..I am not a HAUNTER!! But I may love to run around and around and AROUND :) I am a puppy! I am so sweet and cuddly, when i finish running around ;) I have plenty of energy so you HAVE to be ready to burn it off with mental and physical exercise. I am SMART too! Teach me who you want me to be and I will learn! I was found with 4 siblings living (dumped) at the Home Depot...but it was a LUCKY BREAK, cause we were seen by the husband of a rescuer and we got SAVED! Now I am in my foster home and learning the "ropes" ;) Potty training is getting better every day, I mean our foster mom takes us out often for potty control and I am really working hard to wait for the next jaunt outside! I also am crate training too! I don't like to pee or poop where I sleep- as long as I don't eat right before bed and go outside as soon as I wake up I am doing great!! I seriously am ready for my family, I LOVE to play and am great with all dogs big, small, old or babies. AND i have one half BLUE EYE!! The better to see you with, my new family! :) ADOPT ME SOON!! Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. Hello, my name is Shasta. I am 32 pounds and per my foster Mom, one beautiful female pup! I recently traveled here all the way from Alabama to find my forever home. Could that be you!? My most favorite things to do include being outside, hanging with my foster fur brother Rasin, and I love… love… love… to play Fetch! My foster mom and I have been spending lots of time playing fetch and she says I am pretty good at it. I can catch a ball and frisbee in mid-air and always bring it back to her so she can throw it again. I also just got a new herding ball and man am I natural at moving that around the yard. Oh, and if you happen to have any kids that like to play ball, I like kids. The more humans to play with me the better!When inside the house I like to play and chew on my toys and bones, but when it is quiet time, I also like to snuggle up to my foster parents and get some pets whenever I can. I don’t have to go into my kennel very often, but when I do, I am happy to oblige. You will also be happy to know that I am potty trained and take care of that business outside. My foster mom says I am just the best dog ever!
