She is crate trained, leash trained and likes car rides. She will do best in a home with an active family and with a securely fenced yard. L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. I want to be the Queen of the house :D Adopt me and I will fill YOUR home with my love and devotion. Emmy is an absolute darling of a dog. She loves people and other dogs so so much and just wants to form that strong connection with someone. She is also one of the smartest dogs her foster has ever had and learned immediately that she only gets attention if she's got all four feet on the floor or is sitting. She's very food-motivated, looks to her person for cues, and is just going to be an incredible companion to some lucky family. Like her sister, she also has a nice thick super soft coat and loves to be outside in all weather, so she's the perfect Minnesota adventure companion. She loves playing with other dogs so much and would love to have another one in the home with her, though it's not required. She's also been almost entirely potty trained since she arrived! She can't wait to find her forever family, could it be you? Emmy is estimated to be 4.5 months old and 19 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
