Petey is a 30-lb Border Collie mix—or a small dog with a big personality! At 2-years-old, he's a sassy younger sibling to his foster brother Max, always riling Max up in a hilarious way. Petey loves to taunt his brother with his hilariously cute "tough guy" growl when they play, making sure Max knows it's out of love, so they can end up in a classic cuddle puddle. Petey is house-trained and always eager to please. He lets you know when it’s time to go outside and is full of energy and fun. He is crate-trained, but does not enjoy being in the kennel alone. While he’s still learning some manners, he’s as sweet and good-natured as they come.Petey gets along wonderfully with other dogs and absolutely loves having a canine buddy to play and wrestle with—his foster brother has been a huge help in bringing out his confidence and playful side. He gets excited when seeing other dogs on walks, always ready to make a new friend. He’s also good with kids, but since he can be a jumper when he’s excited, a proper introduction is recommended first. Petey cannot live with cats.Petey’s favorite things in life are walks, playing fetch, and wrestling with his dog friends. Squeaky toys and plushies get destroyed with him! He’s happiest when he’s active, so Petey will thrive in a home with a fenced yard or a family committed to giving him plenty of daily exercise in other ways. We were told that Mom is a heeler and dad is heeler / Aussie. But it looks like a Border Collie may have snuck in the mix! She currently weighs 22-25 pounds. She will likely be around 40-45 pounds as an adult. Some of the siblings were sold by the breeder to a pet store. Dane, Evie, Opal and Meg were “too old” to be sold and were surrendered to rescue. Meg likes other dog friends. She has not met cats. She’s just a baby so someone could intro her to one. She lives with elementary age kids. Meg is learning about toys and having fun. She is doing well on house or crate training. This is something her new family will need to continue to work on. She would do great in a basic training class to learn good things with a new family too. A little time and she is going to be your very best friend. *Each pup is spayed or neutered and current on their vet cares. *We do not hold or reserve dogs. We do not ship or fly. Luke is a gentle, loving boy with a calm and quiet nature. He enjoys playing catch and is perfectly content entertaining himself with a ball. He’s very attentive, eager to please, and impressively easy to train—he picked up kennel training in just two days. Luke is affectionate and loves to give hugs, always looking to his people for reassurance and connection. He can be timid around other dogs, likely due to past experiences as a stray; when he was found, he had bite marks and a wound on his leg, all of which have since healed. Despite everything he’s been through, Luke’s gratitude for being rescued shines through in everything he does. He’s eager to learn, eager to love, and would make a wonderful companion. Luke does well with cats and children and is ready to find a safe, patient home where he can truly thrive. 💛

Everly is a sweet, happy, spunky little girl who loves life large! She is super smart and very brave. Despite being one of the smallest pups in her litter, she was the first one to figure out the ramp from the deck to the yard. She loves to play with her siblings but she is enamored with one of the resident dogs in her foster home and follows the other dog everywhere and does whatever her foster sister does. It's adorable! She's a confident little peanut. She loves to be held and is very snuggly and loving too. She will be ready to meet prospective new families in MN starting Sunday, 1/11! Everly is about 8 weeks old and weighs just under 7 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. Hi, I’m Aspen! I'm a boy with a gentle spirit and a big heart that’s on the hunt for a family to share it with. Whether you're looking for a playful companion or a snuggle bug, I'm your guy! I am a world-class couch cuddler and a big fan of toys. I love collecting them all in my bed in case I want to come back to them later! Some of my favorite things include eating yummy treats, running around outside, and playing with other dogs. I would love to have a friendly dog in my forever home to learn the ropes from. I'm pretty shy in new environments, but with a handful of treats and a little bit of patience, my hesitant exterior melts away. I love my people deeply and show it in the form of kisses, cuddles, and happy wiggle butts. I’m doing great with house training when kept on a schedule (I rarely have an accident in the house!). I love my kennel and stay in it at night and when my foster parents aren’t home. I haven’t been around cats and have had limited interactions with kids.
