Name: Ballet Breeds: Border Collie Age: Puppy Sex: Female Size: Medium when fully grown Ballet is a gorgeous Border Collie puppy who was brought into the shelter after she was found wandering after puppy curfew. No one came for her so she is now looking for a home who will love her, train her, and put that smartypants border collie brain to work. Ballet is smart as a whip and learns so fast. She absolutely thrives on being given something to do to. Puzzle toys, flirt pole, training—yes please! Ballet is typical puppy so housetraining is a work in progress but she keeps her crate clean for the workday and overnight. She is fantastic with other dogs but will herd them playfully which doesn’t always go over well with some dogs especially the little ones. She has not been around cats but would need a proper introduction to them and reminders that they aren’t for play. Ballet is of the mindset that everything is for play! Due to her breed she would be best with older kids or a herding breed experienced home who understands the tendencies to heel nip and chase kiddos to tell them where to go. If you are looking for a super fun dog who wants to join in on adventures, learn anything you want to teach, and keep you active and on your toes, Ballet wants to meet you! Meet Ripley! Hi, I’m Ripley—a 7-week-old pup weighing in at around 6 lbs! I’m a happy, high-energy boy who’s already discovered that belly rubs and tasty treats are some of life’s greatest joys (I’m definitely trying to keep up with my sister!). When I’m not catching up on naps, you’ll find me wrestling with my siblings. I’m a confident little guy and adjust well to new situations. I’ve already become fast friends with the resident dog and absolutely love spending time with her—she’s one of my favorite parts of the day! There aren’t any kids in my foster home, but I’m a friendly pup and would likely do great with them too. I’m having a blast exploring the backyard, and we’ve started practicing leash walking and learning cues like “off” and “come.” I’m also getting familiar with going potty outside, and gentle potty training is just beginning. If you're looking for a playful, energetic, and easygoing pup who’s always happy to see you, I might be your perfect match! Ripley is estimated to be 7 weeks old and 6 lbs. Hi there, I’m Rhea! I’m a 7-week-old bundle of joy, weighing in at around 7 lbs—and the biggest pup in my foster home! I’m a playful little girl with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. The first thing you’ll notice about me is how excited I am to meet you! I can be a little shy in new places, but once I’ve had a chance to settle in, I warm up quickly and am ready for fun. I love playing with my two siblings and can be a bit of a ruff-and-tumble gal, always up for a good game or adventure. I enjoy being outside and exploring, especially when I’m with my siblings or the resident dog—they help me feel confident! I often stay close to my foster mom’s feet or follow the other pups around to see what’s going on. I recently met some neighborhood kids and had a great time with them, too! I’m already showing my love for food and we’ve started working on some important puppy skills like leash walking and learning cues like “off” and “come.” I’m also starting to figure out potty time outside, with gentle training just beginning.
