If there are problems with the website, please email me for help. Whitney a possibly a Border Collie mixed with Red Heeler. DOB 2/1/26; currently about 30# and will probably get to be 45-50#s, best guess. She is the most adorable puppy EVER! She is enthusiastic & confident; curious & playful; and very smart. She has almost mastered walking on a leash and she is good in her crate. She loves car rides. She is mostly quiet in the kennel, except when she needs to do her business! She loves people and dogs of All sizes and ages. Because she is young, we don’t recommend very young children be around her. In her puppy playfulness, she would probably knock the little ones down. Curious, interested in cats but not aggressive. Loves treats so she will be easy to train. She plays with the rope toy or stick with you, but she does not return it yet. She definitely acts goofy when she plays but also loves to snuggle in your lap. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You will receive the dog's folder with all the printouts proving the medical treatments received. Story
My name is Sylvie and I have blossomed in my foster home. I had a rough start to the beginning of my life and now I spend my day playing with a bunch of toys (the puzzle ones are my favorite!), sniffing smells outside, and wagging my tail to all the hugs and kisses I receive. I am such a happy girl now. I have learned that I am a ball girlie, I love love love to chase a chuck-it and then I spend a good amount of time whipping it around myself before I let my foster mom throw it for me some more. I am also very good at going potty outside, I go out every few hours AND I make it all night sleeping in my crate without having to go out. I am also very good at sitting for what I want - treats, toys, you name it! I would love a home that has treats, balls, and patience as I learn what the good life is. From foster mom: Sylvie loves both fetch and walks! She is the sweetest soul and has so much love to give. She is doing so well with learning to walk on a leash and loves to take in all of the new to her smells. This girl regularly asks for pets and loves to sit and simply be hugged. Another medium size dog that wants to play would be such a great companion for her. She is in a foster house with two smaller dogs and two cats. She has done well with the cats, largely not interested in them when she has a toy that interests her more - as always, a slow, gradual, and monitored introduction would be best here. Sylvie is estimated to be 1 year old and 24 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, and have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Jinx is a 11 year old border collie looking for a home where he can stay busy and challanged. He is smart, intense and has a high drive He needs a home with experience and interest in training. He is a very sweet boy who loves to snuggle as much as play! He is very loyal and wants to please his people. He is housebroken and crate trained. This boy loves to play fetch and can spend hours pushing balls around the yard! Jinx has lived with many dogs and has done well with most, but can be selective. He may do best as an only dog. He is not good with cats. Jinx is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative, and microchipped. Jinx is not an easy dog, but he will be an amazing friend to the right family! Viktor's journey hasn't been an easy one. He was part of a group of approximately 40 dogs who were dumped and taken to a Texas shelter before making his way into foster care. While we don't know much about his life before rescue, it's becoming clear that many of the everyday experiences we take for granted are very new to him. Viktor is a quiet, sensitive boy who is still learning what it means to feel safe. He's comfortable being near people and listening to their voices, but physical affection is something he's still figuring out. Being touched can make him nervous, so he's looking for someone who understands that building trust takes time and that sometimes the best way to show love is simply to give him space. There have already been some sweet little victories! Viktor has discovered the joy of having his very own cozy dog bed, has started enjoying chew treats, and is slowly becoming more curious about his surroundings. He even gave his foster his first little tail wag! These might seem like small things, but for a dog like Viktor, they're pretty big milestones. The outside world is especially intimidating for Viktor right now. His foster suspects he may have had very little experience outdoors, and things like walking on a leash, wearing a collar, and potty training are all going to take patience and practice. He's also discovered that his crate can be a safe place to retreat when he needs a break, which is encouraging! Viktor has been sharing his foster home with cats and has done well so far. He's shown some curiosity toward them but has mostly been indifferent to their presence. Viktor isn't going to be the dog who runs into your arms on day one, and that's okay. He needs a patient, understanding family who will let him move at his own pace, help him build confidence, and celebrate the little victories along the way. A quieter, predictable home where he can feel safe and learn about the world without pressure would be ideal. After such an uncertain start, Viktor deserves a chance to discover all the wonderful things life has to offer. And there's something pretty special about being the person who gets to show him. Viktor is from Texas.

Meet Mouse: 9 Weeks of Pure Mayhem (and Professional-Level Cuddling)   Hi, I’m Mouse! I’m 9 weeks old and currently specializing in two things: high-speed chaos and being the best nap partner you’ll ever have. My energy levels operate on a simple, binary system: I am either a screeching fire alarm at maximum volume, or I am completely unconscious in 3.7 seconds flat.   I currently live with a big foster brother named Bruce, who I adore. My favorite way to show him my love is by biting his jowls and nether regions, then sprinting under the couch to tease him while he stands there wondering where it all went wrong. It’s high art.   Here’s the breakdown of my resume: The Good Stuff: I sleep through the night (you’re welcome!). I’m also a crate expert; I can hang out in my cozy fortress for 2+ hours easily. I’m an adventurous guy, too—rain doesn't bother me one bit. The Menu: I am a food connoisseur with a very specific palate- food + good. My favorites include kibble, anything with peanut butter, and the occasional fancy raspberry. Even non-food items make the list like sticks and painters tape.  Social Skills: I love kids! I’m currently living with a 5-year-old and a 9-year-old. My current "Love Language" involves nibbling on ears and noses. I’m just trying to taste the personality! The "Work in Progress" Section: We are working on my potty training. I go outside every 1-2 hours and I’m doing great, but every now and then, I get confused and decide the rug is actually a designated restroom.
