Say hello to Sniffari, a 1 year old, 60 pound Boxer boy who's currently on a journey to fill out his frame—and your heart. Dumped at a shelter far too skinny, Sniffari is now thriving in foster care, gaining weight and love in equal measure.   True to his name, Sniffari is always ready to embark on scent-filled adventures around the yard, followed by long expeditions… straight into your lap. A certified snuggle scout, this handsome goofball prefers to be wherever you are—yes, he’s a Velcro dog with a Boxer’s signature bounce and a lover’s soul.   Daily Routine: Sniffari wakes up when the household stirs—around 7am on weekdays, though he’ll happily sleep in on weekends. After breakfast, he splits his day between cozy lap time and hanging out with his four canine foster siblings, ranging from a tripod Beagle to a 95-pound Coonhound (his cuddle BFF). With a big backyard to romp in, walks are occasional, though he’s getting the hang of leash life—slow and steady!   Dinner hits around 5pm, and bedtime usually means choosing one of the humans’ beds to crash in (because obviously).   Personality: From day one, Sniffari has been sweet, social, and full of love. He instantly bonded with both people and pups, and while he hasn't met kids yet, his gentle, affectionate nature suggests he'd do just fine. He’s playful but not hyper, curious about toys, and beginning to explore the world of fetch like it’s the next frontier.   House Manners: 90% potty trained   Uses the doggy door like a pro   Chews only on appropriate things (bones/toys)   Barks only when the pack does   Ideal Home: Sniffari would thrive in a home with another friendly dog and people who want a constant cuddle buddy. Whether you're working from home or just need a best friend to follow you from room to room, he’s your guy. As his foster puts it, “he’s a gift.”   Why Sniffari? Because he’s the kind of dog who reminds you what unconditional love looks like. From the way he leans into every pet to the gratitude in his eyes, Sniffari is the full package—gentle, goofy, loyal, and absolutely ready for his forever family.   Adopt Sniffari, and let your heart go on a permanent Sniffari of love. Story
Hi there; looking to rehome my dog Brooke, and while this is really hard to write, I want to do right by her. She's genuinely the sweetest dog I've ever met; endlessly affectionate, always ready to cuddle, and happiest when she's napping in your lap or following you around the house. I adopted her about 6 months ago and truly thought we'd be together for the long haul. Unfortunately, some recent life changes mean I can't give her the consistent care and time she deserves. She's a young, medium-energy dog who loves people. Not the best listener yet, but she makes up for it with charm and love. House trained and good on leash (still has moments of excitement/sniffing, but manageable) Ideal Home would be a family or individual who wants a true companion. Someone home more often than not, or willing to give her quality time daily. A fenced-in backyard would be amazing; she has a lot of energy and would love the space to run She does have a small cherry eye in both eyes, as seen in pic3

Story
Energetic, loving, and goofy 9-year-old Ella is super sweet but needs a family with an experienced dog owner. A little under 2ft tall and 40 lbs, she's sleek and muscular. Ella is fully house-trained and very patient with the three cats she lives with. She's never lived with kids but is generally chill with the children in the neighborhood.
She loves her toys, playing fetch, tug of war games, following you around the house, and of course, napping. Ella wants to be involved in whatever you're doing and is alert to someone coming to the door. She is highly food motivated, Ella picks up new tricks quickly but can be stubborn and easily distracted, so she needs lots of consistent positive reinforcement to maintain behavioral changes. She has many opinions and she will let you know about them.
Ella also plays well with other dogs, although sometimes she has issues with dogs larger than she is, but is good at de-escalating potential conflicts. Ella really loves company so if her new people are gone for a full work day she will need a canine companion. She's leash trained and always excited to jump in the car to visit the park. Ella is a great dog looking for a home where she is loved and cherished. Would you be the one for her?" Ella is now being fostered in Oakland, CA and her adoption fee is $275.00 Arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received. Story
Harlee is a sweet, gentle soul with a curious heart. She has an independent and intelligent spirit and has become a star student with our trainers, already mastering commands like sit, down, touch, and focus. Harlee may take a little time to build trust with new canine companions, but once a bond is formed, she's a loyal and playful friend. She's selective with her dog pals but does very well once a relationship is established. She'd do great in a home where she can build those friendships at her own pace. If you're looking for a calm, loyal, and delightfully quirky companion, Harlee might just be your perfect match. This animal's adoption fee has been prepaid by a generous donor!#dogselective Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 58.5 Age: 3yrs 7mths 2wks

Story
I adopted Bella from the Lake County Shelter three months ago. She came into shelter with two other dogs that were homeless. Bella is about a year old and full of energy and curiosity. She loves meeting other dogs and people although she can be a little nervous at times. She loves going for walks, hiking, and lounging in the sun. She would do best in a home with no young children or cats. She loves being active so hopefully her human will be also. She’s a sweetheart . But we have two cats and her pray drive is too much for the cats. Our German shepherd is good with the cats after we did slow introductions but Bella still try’s to attack them after working with her for three months .

Story
Noah is such a wonderful dog and we love him dearly but as our children grow, we find that we have less and less time for him and it makes us sad. We want someone who can give him more attention. He is so full of life and energy- but due to our schedules, Noah spends most of the day in a crate. He is house trained, but we find that if he’s home alone for more than an hour or so he starts to get anxious and may get himself into trouble. He is 13 years old but still a lot of energy and a lot of life. He is starting to go to the bathroom a lot and may have some accidents if he doesn’t go to the bathroom often. He is a very quiet dog rarely ever barks. Super good with other dogs and children. Super lovable just wants to be cuddled all the time.
