You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi… I’m Chico. And Yes, I Know I’m a Little Different. Hi there. I’m Chico. I’m a small dog with a big personality and an even bigger list of quirks. Once upon a time, I had a back injury that healed but left me moving in my own… unique style. My foster mom says I sometimes resemble the little hand from The Adams Family. I’m still not totally sure what that means, but I’ve decided to take it as a compliment. I’m not your “normal” dog. I’m more like a quiet little creature who wants a cozy life, a calm home, and someone who thinks weird is wonderful. About Me I enjoy: Peace Quiet Soft beds Predictable dinners I do not enjoy: Chaos Noise Being rushed Walking fast Walking at all, actually I’m a low-maintenance guy, as long as your definition of low-maintenance includes carrying me outside to pee like a tiny, judgmental prince. The Potty Talk (Here We Go…) Let’s start with the poop, because why not? My poop looks like rabbit turds. Yes, really. Those tiny little pellets. So honestly… is it that bad? I mean, if I must poop indoors when the weather is too cold, too hot, too wet, too windy, or just generally offensive—at least I’m offering rabbit-sized cleanup. That’s thoughtful of me, right? When it comes to peeing, things make a little more sense. In my previous adoptive home, I was peeing constantly. Vet tests were done, but nothing abnormal showed up. Back with my foster mom, as long as she carries me out often, I do really well. I can even sleep through the entire night accident-free! But if I’m left for long periods during the day… mistakes happen. I’m just being honest. The Food Situation (This Is Serious) Now, listen closely: I am PICKY Capital P. Bolded. Underlined. My mom has me on this special food—rice and chicken or rice and lamb by Kona—and I love it. Until I don’t. And then I will absolutely turn my nose up at it, push the bowl away, and go on a full hunger strike like a tiny dramatic artist. So, extremely important note: Do not stock up on one food. Because as soon as you buy a month’s supply, I will decide—without warning—that I hate it. And then you will have to figure out the next acceptable meal to satisfy His Royal Highness, aka me. Where I Thrive I do best in a home that is: Very quiet Very calm Very patient Maybe has a fenced yard (I potty better off-leash) Has no kids Has someone home often Isn’t looking for a hiking buddy, gym partner, or even a medium-energy dog My Adoption Story I had one adoption that didn’t work out. They tried hard, but my potty quirks were too much for that environment. It made me sad to come back, but I was also relieved to return to the predictable routine of my foster home. Now my foster mom is being super careful to make sure my next home is my forever home. No more bouncing around. I deserve someone who gets me. What I Can Offer You I won’t fetch balls. I won’t do tricks. I won’t hike mountains. I won’t go for long walks. But I will be your quiet, quirky companion. I’ll celebrate dinner with a wiggle. I’ll sleep soundly knowing you’re nearby. And I will love you—with all my little oddities—for the rest of my life. If you read all this and thought, “Honestly? I adore this weird little guy.” …then maybe you’re my person.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Story
Hi my name is Pippin and I recently traveled here all the way from Alabama to find my forever home. I am so happy to be here and I am currently living with my foster family and there two little yorkies. I love to sit on my foster moms lap, play with toys, and run around with the other pups. I am mostly potty trained, but also use my potty pads in between going outside. My foster mom tells me that I am a lovable, cute, and cuddly pup and that it won't be long before I find my forever family. Could that be you? --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hello, my name is Pattsy. If you are looking for a petite pup, well that would be me because I only weigh about 15 pounds. I am originally from Alabama, but recently traveled to Minnesota in search of my forever home. Could that be you? Although I like my new foster family and their two Yorkies, I have to say I am not a big fan of these below zero tempatures. My foster Mom says it will be spring soon and then I can go on walks and will enjoy being outside more. My favorite things to do are snuggling with my foster family and chasing around with my toys. I don't mind being in the kennel when everyone goes out, but I prefer to snuggle with my foster parents and their pups at night. My foster mom tells me that I will find my furever home very soon because I am such a cute and sweet little pup. --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi there, I’m Hugo! I’m a 4-year-old chihuahua, and I come as a bonded pair with my brother, Kobe. We’ve been together our whole lives, and I’m not about to let him go anywhere without me.Between the two of us, I’m the thicker, rounder, snack-loving sibling. I’ve been told I could use a little help getting fit again, and honestly, I’m ready for it. A few extra walks and a family who cheers me on sounds perfect.I love people and I warm up quickly, but Kobe and I both get a bit jealous around very young children, so we’re hoping for a home without little ones. Somewhere calm, cozy, and full of love would be just right for us.If you’re looking for a pair of loyal, goofy, affectionate companions, we’d love to meet you.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. McFlurry: The Fluff, The Myth, The Legend Oh hey there. Did someone say “adorable panda bear”? Oh wait—it’s just me, McFlurry, stealing hearts and snacks since... well, basically always. I know, I know—you’re wondering how a literal panda escaped the zoo, learned how to smize like Tyra Banks, and ended up in your adoption feed. Spoiler alert: I’m actually a dog. I KNOW. Try to stay calm. So here’s the scoop. My foster mom decided I needed a little pizzazz—as if my fluffy, doughy physique wasn’t enough—and voilà: pet-safe dye magic. Now I’m rocking the black-and-white look and confusing wildlife experts and toddlers alike. Add some squishy rolls and boopable snoot, and I’m basically a celebrity in disguise. Let’s Talk Name: McFlurry Yes, like the ice cream. Sweet? Duh. A bit thick? Mind your business. Fluffy? I exceed industry standards. I’m on a fitness journey—slow and steady wins the race, right? Sure, I’ve indulged in one too many cookies (or...everything ever), but I’m embracing my glow-up era. And before you ask—yes, those bright blue eyes are real. No, you may not borrow them. They’re my weapon of choice for manipulating humans into giving me treats, belly rubs, or full control of the remote. Personality Breakdown: Vibes: Marshmallow with mild sass. Energy level: Part-time potato, full-time vibe curator. Hobbies: Being carried like royalty, judging you from the couch, avoiding downward stairs like they owe me money. Social skills: I vibe well with other pups, but let’s be honest—I’m the main character. Attitude: Unbothered. Unapologetic. Unleashed. Potty Confessions: The Dirty Truth Let’s just rip off the bandage: I’m stubborn. I pee on my schedule, not yours. Potty training? We’re in negotiations. Belly bands? I wear them like a statement piece. Now, about my tummy: it’s... fragile. Like, emotionally and physically. So yes—I poop. A lot. Stress? Poop. Excitement? Poop. Slight breeze in the air? Poop. It’s called consistency, people. But wait—there’s more. Let’s talk dingleberries. Yes, those awkward, horrifying, and clingy little nuggets of shame. Thanks to my plush backside and luxurious fluff, the ol’ #2 sometimes lingers in... unfortunate ways. You’ll need to do some rear-end maintenance. Trust me, neither of us is thrilled about it—but love means picking up the pieces. Literally. Consider it a bonding experience. The Royal Treatment, Please I came from a breeder situation, so this whole “house pet” gig is new. Couches? Magical. Kind humans? Suspiciously nice. Dental work? Done—I’ve got four teeth on top and somehow even more personality. I don’t do leashes. I don’t do stairs. I do expect a fenced yard and a personal elevator (fine, a human with arms). You carry me—I wave like royalty. Dealbreakers: Apartments. I poop too freely and too often for shared walls. Stairs. Not a fan. Not negotiable. People who aren’t ready to discuss dingleberries like adults. So here’s the deal: I’m dramatic, extra, slightly high-maintenance, and 100% worth it. If you’re into snuggly sassballs with panda cosplay and an honest-to-God poop issue, then congratulations—you’ve found your soul-dog.
