Story
Elliot is a special dog. While he is small in stature, he is large in personality. Elliot loves to play and bounce around, but after a few minutes, he really wants a lap to snuggle on.
Elliot has a small cleft lip that is purely cosmetic. He eats well and has no complaints. We think it makes him even more beautiful.
Elliot also has hydrocephalus. This does not slow him down a bit. He runs and plays and does not know there is anything different about him. At this time no treatment is ongoing. Surgery has not been recommended by his vet, and he is not on any medications.
Elliot is estimated to be 1 year old and 5 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.

Saturday, February 21, 12:00-2:00pm, Forgotten Star Brewing, 38 Northern Stacks Drive, Fridley https://www.facebook.com/events/1406567791037135Elliot has a medical condition called hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus is a buildup of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in the brain. Life expectancy for dogs with hydrocephalus depends on several factors, including how severe symptoms are. Elliot tilts his head slightly to the right and intermittently holds up his back legs or hops while he's running. Although these symptoms don't slow this boy down - he still loves to play, prance, and run around. What we don't know is if these symptoms will remain the same or become more severe as he grows.
Right now, he is a happy, playful puppy who enjoys everything a typical puppy enjoys. Elliot deserves a special person to call his own, We are hoping to find a home willing to adopt Elliot and love him through whatever comes next. In turn, you will be rewarded with the happiest companion who is a true inspiration of living life to the fullest. If you think that might be you, or you want to learn more, please fill out an application today!
