Story
CLEO | 8 years old | 10-pounds*Alright, STOP. Collaborate and listen…She cute but she is expensive.Cleo will need prescription food and medication for the remainder of her life. Still interested? Read on!—--Straight from her foster’s mouth to your ears.. erhmm.. eyes.. learn more about Cleo directly from the source! They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend.. And you better have a lot of them. To sell. To pay for her vet care.Haha! Just kidding! *looks around* Kind of..Cleo has a condition called protein-losing enteropathy (PLE) caused by irritable bowel disease. She loses proteins from her bloodstream into her GI tract faster than her body can replenish them and her medical management helps regulate this condition.Cleo’s daily life is unaffected by this and she does your everyday dog things. The only addition is giving her medication (pills) with her morning and evening meals which she takes without problem.Still interested? Then you’re ready to hear our secret..—--Cleo is a GEM. A truly one-of-a-kind companion. So without further ado, here’s what you need to know about Cleo!Extremely smart. Eats her own poop. In a glass-half-full kind of world, you could consider her a self-poop picker-upper. (But really, you are going to have to go out in those subzero temps and pick up her poop before she does.)She is well potty trained but her medications/condition cause some accidents if she is unable to be let out after a certain amount of time. She understands cues quickly and even knows sit, shake, high five, and can catch her food mid-air!Farts can clear a room. They just get stronger. Rootin’ Tootin’ Cleo should be in the Guinness Book of Records or something.Teeters on being the fun police. Still fun.Cleo coexists with dogs big and small but can sometimes be a playtime hall monitor. That said, if she finds the right dog with the right playstyle, she has a good time playing chase and wrestling!Loves tug o’ war. Hates fetch. If you throw her toy, she’s going to look at you like what are you even doing. On a scale of one to barky, she’s about a five. While Cleo doesn’t bark all day long, she is going to warn you about car doors slamming, people talking, the general goings on of the world. And her bark be loud so shared walls may not be the best fit for her. She stops with some guidance pretty quickly.. usually.. sometimes..Loves food. Hates sharing. Cleo’s favorite times of the day are, hands down, breakfast and dinner. And she’s got that only child syndrome (I can say that, I’m an only child) where everything is hers. Her food. Her toys. Your food. All hers. And she will tell anyone who needs to know.Supposedly a Chihuahua/Pug mix. Definitely just as needy. Pug parents, am I right? Cleo will climb on your lap, push her way to your hands, and really doesn’t care if she’s stepping on another dog to get to the top. We mean that figuratively. Well.. except for those times when she’s literally walking over a dog to get to you.Likes to give kisses. Licks everything. Literally everything.. the couch, the floor, the carpet, the coffee table, your clothes, and your face.Cleo is great with kids of all ages but it’s probably best that she live in a home with teens or no kids on account of how much she loves food. Because she has PLE, Cleo needs to be on a restricted diet and can’t be catching scraps or snagging food from those little hands. Because she would. She totally would. This girl’s personality is a great balance of play and chill, and she walks so well on a leash.. when it’s actually warm out.. A lap dog through and through, Cleo wants to be snuggled in with you, often under a blanket (Chihuahua parents, you get it). She's content to snooze on the couch or a dog bed when you're gone and she can fit into any social situation.Cleo is one of the best dogs out there and whoever has the privilege of adopting her is going to know love (and toots) beyond measure!—--*Opening Line Credit: Vanilla Ice - “Ice Ice Baby”Cleo came to Pet Haven Rescue with a severe case of PLE. Her levels are back to normal with the help of food and medication management.More on protein-losing enteropathy (PLE): https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/proteinlosing-enteropathy-ple-in-dogs—--If you are interested in this dog, fill out an application at this link to get the ball rolling: https://pethavenmn.org/adopt/adoptable-dogs/dog-adoption-application/The adoption fee is $250. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 150-mile radius of the Twin Cities. However, we will consider up to 250 miles if the foster agrees to travel requirements and staff approval.

Story
To apply for a dog from All Dog Rescue, please fill out our online application at www.AllDogMN.org.  All Dog Rescue only adopts to homes within 60-miles of the Twin Cities. Visit our FAQ page to learn why. Hey, I'm Charlie... eleven years of wisdom wrapped up in one mellow, blanket-loving package. I'm the kind of guy who knows how to take it easy but still appreciates the finer things: slow walks, quiet company, and a really good snuggle session.I'm proud to say I'm fully house-trained (score one for the grown-ups!), though I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with nail trims. They're my personal kryptonite. Luckily, I've learned to outsource that chore to the vet.I'm generally friendly with other dogs, though I do like to have my own space especially when it comes to food or treats. So, while I would be cool with having another dog in the house, I definitely wouldn't mind being the solo star in a quieter home. Little kids tend to overwhelm me a bit, and cats? Well, let's just say my 'chase mode' kicks in way too fast, so a cat-free zone is definitely best for everyone. When it comes to meeting new people, I'm pretty welcoming. I enjoy a good pet and some calm company &#194&#151 bonus points if you're a fan of blanket forts because that's basically my happy place. Outside, I like daily walks and spending time roaming around the fenced yard sniffing the grass and watching the birds. Sometimes I get so excited about all the smells I can't contain my zoomies!I do take a daily allergy pill to keep things comfortable, but it never slows me down when it comes to soaking up affection or savoring peaceful moments. If you're looking for a steady, gentle companion who's all about the little joys &#194&#151 a nice walk, a cozy cuddle, and a warm spot on the couch &#194&#151 I'm ready to meet you.To apply for a dog from All Dog Rescue, please fill out our online application at: alldogmn.org/Adopt.htmlAll Dog Rescue adopts out to homes within 60-miles of the Twin Cities due to post-adoption services and volunteer commitment. Story
My name is Coco - I'm ready for the adventure of my lifetime! The first time I met my foster mom, I climbed right into her lap. And I looked up with my big eyes and new I was loved. And in the short time I've been here, I've stolen the hearts of both of my foster parents. I'm four months old, and I am all love and energy! I have a face so cute that you will be unable to stop from giving me a smooch. I'm pretty trusting and love to give my hoomans boops and snuggles. I love to wrestle with my sister - we tug, run and fetch. I seem pretty confident - I picked up using the stairs very quickly going both up and down and was so adventurous exploring other rooms of the house. Also, I've gotten very good at pottying on puppy pads, and I'll be starting outside potty training soon! I'm pretty smart and I'd love to meet you - insert my heart here. Coco is about 4.5 mos old and 10 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting. We are also holding the following upcoming adoption events! Please note: All dogs/puppies will not be at every event, and some may find their home prior to the event. If you are interested in a specific animal, please check our Facebook page for confirmed attendance the morning of the event: https://www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue/ You do not need to have a Facebook account to check the Safe Hands Facebook page for attendance. We hope to see you at an upcoming Meet & Greet! Saturday, January 3, 11:00am-1:00pm, Bachman's: 6010 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, https://facebook.com/events/s/safe-hands-rescue-meet-greet-a/854139767266965/ Saturday, January 10th, 11:00am-1:00pm, Forgotten Star Brewing: 38 Northern Stacks Dr NE, Minneapolis, MN 55421, https://www.facebook.com/events/2264915187316691/

Story
Ready for a new friend? Meet Honey! Honey is a sweet dog, just like her name she is oozing with affection and love. She is a very medium/small sized beagle/chi mix, she is housebroken and likes to let people know when she needs to go out by pawing at your legs. Loves to cuddle with you, she can be a velcro dog sometimes and will make your couch her permanent home!. Honey doesn't like to share her affection with others and is adoptable into a single dog/animal home. She does tolerate the foster mom's kitties but honestly she would really love to be the center of someone's life. She has MORE than enough love and devotion to fill your heart every day. She is crate trained. She loves to sleep in the bed too! If you are looking for the yin to your yang, the bread to your jam or the pup to your life... HONEY is the ONE!!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Shrimp — a little gentleman with a big heart, weighing in at just 8 lbs. This 10-year-old Chihuahua–Maltese mix we think, is as sweet as they come. Shrimp is a gentle, happy boy who loves nothing more than being close to his person. He’ll happily follow you from room to room, just to make sure you don’t get lost without him. Even though he doesn’t have any teeth, Shrimp is a true foodie at heart — mealtime is his favorite time! He’s crate trained and sleeps well, though sometimes he can’t quite make it through the night, so he wears a diaper just to be safe. House training is still a work in progress, but he’s learning. If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who will fill your days with love and quiet companionship, Shrimp is ready to wiggle right into your heart. Local Only adoption fee is $200(in TX)

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🎉💖 Meet Frida — A Pocket-Sized Party with Wiggles Included 💖🎉 Born on 10/1/25 and currently a mighty 4 pounds, Frida is proof that joy comes in teeny, wiggly packages. With a mama who weighs just 9 pounds, this little lady is expected to stay small — but don’t let the size fool you. Her personality? ABSOLUTELY FULL-SIZE. Frida is the kind of puppy who wakes up excited to exist. Feet hit the floor? Wiggle mode activated. New toy? Best thing that’s ever happened. Human sits down? Clearly an invitation for snuggles, kisses, and possibly a dramatic puppy flop across your lap. She’s super friendly, wildly social, and believes everyone she meets is her new best friend (including you, your neighbor, and that shoe she just dragged across the room). Toys are her love language — squeaky, crinkly, plush, stolen… Frida isn’t picky. Playtime is serious business, followed immediately by cuddle time because balance is important. Frida specializes in classic puppy shenanigans: zoomies that come out of nowhere, toy parades through the house, and sudden naps that happen mid-play like someone turned her off with a remote. One minute she’s chaos, the next she’s a snuggle nugget passed out cold. 🐾 Frida’s Fun Facts: ✅ Birthday: 10/1/25 - utd on age appropriate vaccines ✅ Currently 4 lbs — expected to stay small ✅ Super friendly and social butterfly approved ✅ Joy-filled, wiggly, and always ready to party ✅ Loves toys, playtime, and puppy adventures ✅ A+ snuggler when the zoomies run out ✅ Professional heart-stealer in training Frida is looking for a home ready for puppy laughs, tiny paw prints, and a whole lot of happiness packed into one little body. If you’re searching for a dog who will make you smile every single day — and probably trip over toys while doing it — Frida is your girl. ✨ Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Frida wiggle her way straight into your heart (and lap). 🐾💗
