We’re total social butterflies—great with other dogs, cats, and even those tiny humans called kids. We love to bounce, play, snuggle, and sprinkle joy everywhere we go. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers are such awesome namesakes for us... we are ATTACHED at the hip to each other and we operate in dance like moves when we are together.... so YES we are a BONDED pair of cuties!! This is Chrysalis. She and her mom were found abandoned at a stop sign along with their kennel and a bag of food in a small rural town in south Texas. They were rescued by some local people and Gods Dogs agreed to help. They both had skin issues and needed medication, but are on the way to full bloom. The mom is named Mariposa, which translated from Spanish is butterfly. This little baby is a butterfly in the making so she is named Chrysalis, which is the form between caterpillar and butterfly 🦋. Chrysalis is a sweet snuggly little girl and currently weighs four pounds. She likes to play and is learning potty training and uses the doggy door and pads. When I first came to the animal control place, I was covered with spots! And to make matters worse, my mom and sisters were covered with spots too! I guess we all had the same thing, but I didn’t think that we were that scary that people wouldn’t want to touch us or anything! Then we came into the God’s Dogs and started getting treatment for ringworms, which isn’t’ really worms but a fungal infection on our skin due to our previously poor living conditions. We are still taking a pill and getting baths for our skin, but we shouldn’t be contagious anymore. So, we have been here for 3 weeks now, and our spots are getting smaller, and our hair is coming in nicely. We still don’t have a super full coat, but it is getting there, but what we lack in hair cover, we make up for in personality! My spots are slowing going away and they don’t itch or anything. So, there is no need to be afraid of my spots. I am an very active girl and love to play with the siblings. I am the largest of the 3 sister siblings and weigh 6 pounds on 5.5.25. I also have the curly type piggy or Puggy tail, that seems to run in the family. I love to play with toys and run. I love to run and bounce around. It is a fun game to play with my siblings, especially keeping away with toys. I am a chihuahua dachshund mix foster mom thinks and since we don’t know anything about our dad, our breed is only a guess. But I have these huge radar ears, that I can hear every time you open the refrigerator door. I am already fixed I will be on the small side. But good things come in little packages, right? I am over 3 months old now and would like to find myself a permanent home soon!
