Are you looking for a super sweet love bug who wants to be with you at all times? Meet Pollyanna! This little lady is one smart cookie; she’s figured out the baby gates the first night here: climbing is her jam. Since I can’t keep her in her space, she’s been sleeping in my bed each evening. Once she closes her eyes she is OUT like a light. Also who needs an alarm when puppy kisses are available? Potty training has been a little spotty, it’s been cold and hard to stay outside for long. She uses the puppy pads though! Ignores my two cats and gets along well with my small 2 senior dogs, but she much prefers to be where you are. She is also learning what toys and play time is, it’s very cool to watch her learn how to Dog. Pollyanna would greatly benefit from basic obedience training and would excel with doggy daycare. She is still learning that all humans are good people and needs help with building her confidence. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care. Monarch is still working on her training—commands like sit, come, and leave it—but she’s a quick learner who loves praise. Once you earn his trust, Alvin is happy to lay beside you or play a game of fetch or tug of war with his plushies. He now loves his walks, and gets really excited about squirrels and rabbits. He's a little shadow that likes to be near his person. Now that he's gotten comfortable, Alvin has become more energetic and playful, and loves his plushies. Alvin is doing great with housetraining in his usual routine, though needs some time to adjust when in a new environment. From the Vet: Alvin has had a dental surgery while in rescue, so he will have a healthy mouth for his new family!

Hi, my name is Rasta! From her foster: Rasta is such a happy dog! Her characteristics are spot on with her assumed breed: lively, alert, and determined as well as cuddly, affectionate and loyal. She is very athletic and loves running after squirrels and rabbits! Such a great little package! A few things to consider: she is still working on potty training but is 90% there. Having a resident dog(s) to show her why we’re outside helps! She is a watch dog with a bark and a cute whimper. We are working on timing. She is an equal opportunity lover…no fear of men or other dogs. She is briefly kenneled during the day but would much rather be with people. She is not kenneled at night and loves sleeping in her dog bed…on the bed. Lastly, she also loves her toys and chew bones. When she’s done running and playing, she is the best little cuddler. She is an active dog and needs exercise. Agility training would be right up her alley! Strong prey drive. Not sure about cats.
