Story
'Jack' Chihuahua male-6 yrs old, 7 lbsJack is a 7-lb,  6 yr old one-eyed Velcro pup who loves nothing more than snuggling under the covers with his person. When he came to us, Jack had been hit by a car and needed his eye removed and his fractured jaw repaired — but he has healed beautifully and is all heart. He’s sweet, sensitive, and settles after a little crying when left alone. Jack does great with small dogs but is not a fan of big dogs. He seems comfortable with kids and men; cats are unknown. He enjoys sunbathing, window-watching, and is still learning how to play with toys. Jack is potty trained but may always need a belly band due to periodic marking. He’s looking for a patient home that wants a loyal, cuddly shadow by their side.  If you want a tiny companion with a huge heart, Jack is your guy! 6 yrs old  - 7 lbsOur adoption fee through our rescue covers the dog being fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered, dewormed and flea treated. Story
'Sammy' Chihuahua/Dachshund X-male-10 months old, 14 lbsAre you ready to welcome an intelligent, lively, loving puppy into your home? Meet Sammy! This 14-pound 10-month-old pup is full of personality and looking for a family to call his own. He’s an adventurer who loves to play and explore, and he’s sure to bring love and laughter into your home. Sammy’s mom is a sweet, highly intelligent Chihuahua-Dachshund mix weighing 14 lbs, but his dad is a mystery and most likely bigger than Sammy’s mom. Sammy is smart, and full of energy making him a great candidate for agility training. His ideal home would be a place with a good sized, securely fenced yard where he can burn off some of his puppy energy. He would also do well with a family that has time to spend with him whether it’s playing, learning tricks, or cuddling on the couch. If you’re looking for a clever, energetic companion that you are looking forward to spending time with, Sammy is your guy! Story
'RESCUED' (PUPPIES x8 ) at 9 weeks old BORN 5/03/25There are a mix of females and males ( 6 males and 2 females) We rescued the momma dog with her 3 day old puppies on 5/6/25. Momma is a Chiweenie but no idea what the father(s) were! Looks like maybe some spaniel though.  So it is a mystery on how they will turn out :)  'Hello, I am a young and curious puppy with a lot of love to give! I am very affectionate and love to cuddle up with my human friends. I am also very friendly. I am a very playful and funny and  love to make my human friends laugh. I am also a smart puppy and I am highly trainable. I was rescued along with my mommy and brothers and sisters when I was just 3 days old, My eyes were not even open yet!  My momma is a 13 lb Chiweenie. But I don't know what or who my daddy was. So I am a mix of different breeds, and I am sure I will grow up to be a a super doggy. I am just 9 weeks old, so I am still a baby and have a lot of energy. I would love to go to a forever home where I can get a lot of love and attention. If you are looking for a fun and furry addition to your family, look no further! I am sure that I would be the perfect fit. Please consider adopting me, and giving me a forever home filled with love.' They are now ready to go. Story
'Colby' Beagle/Spaniel X, male, 5 yr old, 27 lbs'Colby' Spaniel/Beagle Mix - Male 5 years - 27 lbsColby is an adorable 27 pound beagle mix that was hit by a car in Mexico and left to die on the side of the road. He was rescued by us and brought to the USA. We have had this little sweety in the rescue for a time now and are looking for the right home or a foster. He is good with other dogs and loves to play. He has a cart and drag bag. He does need his bladder expressed but we can teach you how to do that. He is NOT totally paraplegic (see video) but mostly. So he still wears a diaper/belly band when inside. But outside in the dog yard he plays and 'stumbles' about. But boy can he move!  Our adoption fee through our rescue covers the dog being fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered, dewormed and flea treated. Story
'Sophie' Chihuahua/Dachshund X-female-10 months old, 9 lbsGet ready to fall in love with Sophie, a delightful little cuddle-bug ready to steal your heart! This precious 10-month-old baby girl adores people and loves being picked up and held. She would be a wonderful companion for another small to medium-sized dog. Sophie will be a little bigger than her mom as she’s currently 9 pounds, which means there’s more to love! She’s a smart and curious puppy who is eager to learn new things.
