Story
I got Odie several months after my Mom passed away. It was an impulsive decision. My son recently left home and I realized how lonely he is while I’m at work all day. It makes me sad for him. I am also moving in October and they don’t allow pets and I need to move for financial reasons. It’s really breaking my heart. He does know how to use the bathroom outside but he goes on puppy pads sporadically.

Story
Lucy is a 15-year-old terrier with a lot of love left to give. For over ten years she was the devoted companion of my grandmother, who recently passed in early July. We'd been caring for Lucy for over a month while my grandma was in the hospital and then hospice. With our own anxious dog and two cats at home, it's clear Lucy would be happiest as the center of someone's world. What she wants most is her person. She'll spend hours curled up on the couch beside you, follow you room to room, and greet you like it's the best moment of her day. She's mellow with sweet spurts of energy, and she can get anxious when left alone, so she'd do best in a calm home with someone around often. Full medical records can be provided. A few vaccinations are not up to date and will need a quick vet visit. If you want a gentle, affectionate senior who just wants to love and be loved, Lucy is your girl. In a few words: Chill · affectionate · loyal · gentle · people-loving

Story
Meet Alpine, an 18mo old AKC registered purebred white GSD. He has been with our family since he was 12wks old and loves running and playing with our young kids. He loves playing fetch, swimming, playing tug of war with a rope, being taught new commands, and patrolling our property. He would be perfect for someone with a place that needs to be protected and has plenty of space to run. He is good with other dogs and has not experienced cats that we know of. He is healthy and weighs 80 lbs, gaining a few pounds each month as he continues to grow. He has a lot of anxiety and requires a lot of patience and understanding. We are not in a rush to find another home for him and instead we want to have time to make sure he finds a family that will be the best fit for him. He would do well with a family who is able to be fully present with him. We are a military family and it's difficult to travel with his needs.

Details
Good with kids, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Saint has had a rough start in life. We adopted him from a shelter after learning that his first home wasn’t good. He can be fearful of new people, places, and situations. Because of his past, he needs a little patience while he learns that he is safe. One thing to note is that Saint is NOT aggressive. When he is scared, his instinct is to flee, not confront. He is a fleer, not a fighter. However once he has a chance to settle in, and trust the people around him, his personality changes for the better. After he is comfortable, Saint becomes playful and affectionate and incredibly cuddly. He loves snuggles, and enjoys playing. Watching him come out of his shell is one of the most rewarding experiences. Our decision to rehome Saint has been difficult. The reason behind our decision has nothing to do with anything Saint has done, rather it is because we are not able to give him the time, consistency, and attention he needs.

Story
We took Neo from another family in January and he is a very sweet dog with a great personality. Unfortunately we have a pool and he has a lot of anxiety whenever anyone is in the pool. He has fallen in a few times and can’t swim so unfortunately he is not a fit for our home. He loves hikes, walks and playing tug-o-war. He is great with kids.
