Story
Luna was originally adopted by a different family from the San Diego Humane Society. When I took her in I did not receive her records. The family had a larger dog and Luna had too much energy for them to handle. She is great with kids and loves attention. Very high energy so she’s a perfect running partner. She get along with other dogs although her high energy makes them easily annoyed. She loves chasing cats but not in a aggressive way. She’s approximately 4 years old at least that is the vets best guess and was recently on antibiotics for a double ear infection and loss of her fur. No ongoing medical conditions. She needs a home that can give her the attention she seeks and to roam a yard if possible. I am moving and cannot take her with me due to breed restrictions and size of the home. She is a very loving sweet girl, kennel trained but needs more training and structure.

Story
Meet Alpine, an 18mo old AKC registered purebred white GSD. He has been with our family since he was 12wks old and loves running and playing with our young kids. He loves playing fetch, swimming, playing tug of war with a rope, being taught new commands, and patrolling our property. He would be perfect for someone with a place that needs to be protected and has plenty of space to run. He is good with other dogs and has not experienced cats that we know of. He is healthy and weighs 80 lbs, gaining a few pounds each month as he continues to grow. He has a lot of anxiety and requires a lot of patience and understanding. We are not in a rush to find another home for him and instead we want to have time to make sure he finds a family that will be the best fit for him. He would do well with a family who is able to be fully present with him. We are a military family and it's difficult to travel with his needs.

Story
Tr trixie is only 10 years old but unfortunately she became diabetic a year and a half ago. She’s doing well with four units of insulin twice a day and she needs a diet low in carbohydrates. I make her food with chicken breast and vegetables. Plus, I add a kibble, low fat. Unfortunately, my husband died about two years ago, and my income has dropped dramatically. I can’t afford the insulin, the vet check ups, the needles, special food etc. that goes with a diabetic dog. She is a sweet dog that everybody loves. And she is still very active. But she now has cataracts and can’t see well so she tends to bark at anything that moves when she’s out walking. I’m moving so I need to rehome my sweet little girl, she is housebroken, but I do have a dog door so she goes in and out at will. trixie is a Chorkie -Chihuahua and Yorkshire terrier
