Story
If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal dog for companionship and a sense of security, Scratch will be a wonderful addition to your family. This Blue Heeler/Aussie Shep mix is a "chill" and beautiful dog!Scratch earned his name from the funny way he rubs his face with his paws when he sleeps at night. We inherited him from our uncle after he passed away. Born and raised in New Mexico, Scratch spent his early years there before joining our family in San Diego. He's eager to please, happy to be by your side (when you want him to) and content hanging out alone, keeping watch. He's friendly, great with children, loves all people, and is completely house trained, loyal and low maintenance.Scratch has a calm and comforting presence. He is a devoted friend who will bring joy and companionship to your home. We are committed to finding him a caring owner who will appreciate what a good and loving companion he truly is. Scratch is our "Bluey" and it's so easy to love him!

Story
Shadow is a very shy boy but once he warms up he is the biggest lover. My husband and I bolth work full time and he travels half of the year so it’s been hard to keep up with the play and structure we believe he should have. He will sit for treats and listens to whistles or his name being called at home and at the dog park. Shadow is still getting comfortable going on walks, he heals but gets nervous when people are walking towards him. With some extra attention and training he would be could be the best dog. He has been around plenty of other dogs constantly and loves to play more one on one so if you need an addition to your fur family or one to start it he’s perfect.!

Story
Daisy is almost 2 years old and is a very happy and energetic girl. She loves people and is very curious. She hasn't had a lot of time around kids, but she has been fine with them when she was with them. She loves the dog park, but would rather be with the humans than the other dogs. She is not aggressive; she just loves attention from people. We got Daisy from the Humane Society of San Diego when she was about 8 weeks old. She had a severe head injury when she was only about 2 weeks old, and she has some neurological effects from that injury. Her front legs are a little uncoordinated and not as strong as her back legs, so jumping up onto things can be difficult for her. She goes upstairs just fine, but she needs to take her time going back down. Her condition does not slow her down or impede her at all; she loves to play and run around! She does stumble a lot, but she has adapted wonderfully. Daisy needs a home where she can get a lot of time and attention from her humans.
