Story
I am Mickey, estimated date of birth Jan 2013. DRWB rescued me from a family who did not love me, I had it tough with them. But I am lucky because my foster is so loving and cares for me so much. First I did not trust anyone; now I am more confident but still I am conservative when meeting new people. I love to play with my puppy friends, run, and enjoy the moment. I tend to be a barker, and get along better with female doggies. My foster says that it would be best if I don't go to a family with small children (no less than 12 yrs old)

Story
Romeo was found as a stray, he was timid and didn't trust anyone at first. He was taken to the vet and since then his rehabilitation started.. Now he is a friendly and sweet boy; he is active but not hyperactive, loves to socialize and play with other dogs. He is currently 38 pounds and is approximately 3 yrs old.. Romeo is more confident on himself now and trust humans faster; he likes male and female humans, including kids. He sleeps in a crate with the door open. He is obedient, and alerts his family when he hears strange noises outside the house. He rides very well in the car and is used to being in a crate while commuting. If put on a potty schedule, he waits for his foster to open the door to the outdoor yard to go potty. He will mark territory initially when in a new home, but he get into this potty routine without an issue. He is learning how to walk on leash. He is not food aggressive but eats very fast. Loves toys. He deserves a loving family that will have time for playtime and walks. Romeo deserves an awesome family.

Story
Beau (aka Souly), currenlty almost 2 yrs old and 13 lbs, came to us through a Facebook post. She was very weak and malnourished, but after vet care and lots of love she got healthy and was adopted. After almost 1.5 yrs of being adopted, the family wants to rehome her because the owner found a demanding job that does not allow time to care for Beau. She is trained to go potty outside and on pads. Outside she sometimes gets distracted exploring and needs to be reminded to focus on going potty. She does responds to the the command "go potty". She gets along with other dogs and likes people. She would be the perfect companion to someone that works from home. She really loves companionship, and loves to cuddle and sleep with her owners. She wants to be loved a lot and have that one (or two) special person(s). She is crate trained and is fine for a couple of hours in her crate while the family goes out to run errands.. She does have seizures due to epilepsy, but is fine on her meds. She gets a half a dropper of her med once a day with her breakfast. The medicine comes in a big bottle, it lasts a long time and is not expensive at all. The bottle lasts about a year. She likes to go outside to the yard and will follow you around. She can't be trusted off a leash in an area with streets and cars. She likes to explore and is a very happy dog. She is a bit nervous around other people but will not bite. She does love to eat, so she could easily become overweight with someone who likes to give dogs lots of treats and extra food. Currently she is at a healthy weight. She loves to play. She would do well with another little dog, or a bigger dog that knows how to play gently with a little dog. She also likes to chase the cats, but only because they are her size and she wants to play with them. Beau loves socks, especially used socks. If you take off a sock and put it on the floor she will play with it gleefully for a while. It's quite cute. Beau is a scavenger, a term we use for dogs who are always roaming the house looking for food anywhere they can find it, so it's important to not leave anything that may be potentially dangerous on the floor. So a house with little kids would not be ideal just in case they drop chocolate, or something that can harm dogs. If interested, please submit your application at www.drwb.org The adoption fee is $0 as DRWB and the current owner are trying to rehome her. Please submit an application only if you are a serious adopter. This girl deserves a forever loving home.

Story
Tito is a Border Collie mix. He’s four years old and 50 pounds. He was a stray, rescued from the streets of TJ, and he was injured at the time of his rescue. He unfortunately had to have his leg amputated due to the severity of his injuries. Despite suffering so much, he is an easy going, loving and grateful dog. He loves humans and loves to be in the company of his humans. He’s obedient, loves car rides, and sleeps in his crate with the door open. He walks well on a leash and gets around despite having lost his leg. He likes most dogs but small dogs tend to annoy him, and he does best with female dogs. He doesn’t like to share his food unless he likes the other dog. He loves being petted. He would be a wonderful companion, and he deserves to find a loving family.
