Story
I am Winnie, a playful and loving girl! My foster mom says I am cuddly, curious, and confident. I love a good “zoomie” sprint around the yard and playing with my pup pack. I am an expert at stealing kisses. I would thrive with a family with active teenage kids and other playful dogs. My foster mom says I haven’t met a person I didn’t love, even the vet. I am a smart girl! I have been professionally trained where I learned how to sit, lay, “leave it”, and wait, although I REALLY hate to wait! I am house, kennel, and leash trained. I am very athletic and would love to learn some agility tricks with you. I love squeaky toys and am so proud to show them off! I have been with my foster mom since March 2023 after being found stray all alone, but I am definitely ready to find my forever, fun-loving home.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Kobe! He was rescued from the side of the road by his foster, and he is just the sweetest boy! His foster family has been caring for him for about a year, but never intended to keep him forever. They have 5 kids ranging from 6 months old to 12 years old and they play with him and lay with him and he is always sweet and gentle with them. He’s never shown aggression to anyone at all. He’s crate trained and house trained, but he will dig under the fence if he doesn’t get enough exercise. He would thrive with more exercise, training and mental stimulation. He’s a very smart dog, but also quite strong so would do well with obedience training. Kobe is about 1.5 years old and weighs about 75 pounds.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Bunni! She's shy with new people, but warms up if you offer her some tasty treats. She's food driven and eager to please. Bunni also loves to give you a serene smile once she knows you're a good person (the kind who gives yummy treats). She's smart and knows to sit and wait for food, and to go in her kennel at night. She's also house trained. She enjoys being outside and playing with toys. She loves to play with other dogs, and she sleeps quietly in her kennel throughout the night. She's great with kids and other dogs. Bunni is about 1 year old and weighs 28 pounds.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
