Hello! My name is Archie, and I'm a loving, sweet, and of course, handsome boy. I'm looking for a foster-to-adopt home until I get neutered! My vet appointment is February 23rd!I'm all about snuggles, playing with toys, and taking big dog naps with my siblings. We came from a barn, so we're still getting used to life indoors, but it's pretty awesome! I can't wait to find my forever home! If you're looking for a furry friend to share love and adventures with, I'm your guy!🐶 Adopting a Dog from BAHS 🐶All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested before going home. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee how a dog will do with children, other dogs, or cats. If you already have a dog, we require a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone gets along. For everyone’s safety, your current dog must be spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccinations before you can be approved for adoption.

Story
**Meet Beckett – A Big, Handsome Boy!**Beckett came into the shelter as a stray, seemingly dumped on a gravel road. Thankfully, some good Samaritans rescued him and brought him to safety. When Beckett first arrived, he was terrified and wouldn’t let anyone come near his kennel or open the door. However, after some time to decompress, his true character began to shine through! This lovable giant has a playful side and absolutely loves to play fetch. Beckett is food-motivated and eager to learn new tricks, proving to be such a good boy! While he may get a bit stressed in new situations, he just needs an owner who is patient and willing to train him. With a little guidance and understanding, Beckett will thrive in a loving home.If you’re ready to provide a nurturing environment for this handsome boy, Beckett is waiting for you!🐶 Adopting a Dog from BAHS 🐶All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested before going home. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee how a dog will do with children, other dogs, or cats. Story
Silver is a smart, funny, and sweet purebred blue Merle Australian Shepherd (standard). We are rehoming through no fault of hers - she is my mom's dog and unfortunately my mom is moving into assisted living. She is 1 (almost 2), house broken, clicker trained, crate trained, and UTD on vaccines. She is not spayed. She gets along well with other dogs and does okay with cats (just very curious about them). We are hoping for a home that has either a large yard or someone willing to take multiple walks a day with her. We are hoping for someone who will love on her endlessly and keep us updated on her as she continues to grow.

Story
Meet Curtis! 🐾Curtis has been through a lot, but he’s finally ready for a fresh start. He was found abandoned and hiding in a cold barn, terrified and severely underweight—just skin and bones. Thanks to some kind people, he made it safely to the shelter, where he’s been healing and learning to trust again. Now, Curtis is thriving! He’s a sweet, gentle boy who loves to snuggle, soak up attention, and even lay like a cat with his paws tucked under him. Snuggling is one of his favorite pastimes, and he enjoys curling up in his comfy bed, always ready to cuddle.Curtis is ready to bring love and joy to a forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion, come meet this amazing boy! 💖🐶 Adopting a Dog from BAHS 🐶All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm tested before going home. Please note that we cannot guarantee how a dog will interact with children, other dogs, or cats. Story
Hello everyone! Her name is Princess, my daughter picked it out! We got her from a friend when she was a very tiny puppy, and momma and papa dog had a large liter! Princess's birthday is December 12th, so she is just over 3 years old now! She is a Mastiff, German Shephard Mix is what we were told the parents were. Princess is great with kids of all ages, and other pets indoor and outdoor! Also cats or dogs! Currently she lives with a family friend and does wonderful with their kids, and cats! Princess loves to go on walks, and run around! An ideal place for her is somewhere she can get some exercise! Whether that means yard or trips to a dog park, she loves both! Princess is kennel trained, and house trained, meaning she can stay in or out of kennel when family isn't home! Her temperament is very friendly, calm, chill, and likes to take her naps too! She is also a curious dog, and likes to look outside and watch the world go by!
