Story
Hello, my name is Asha! I am a Wadi dog from the country of Oman and at 4 years old weighing approx. 45lbs. I was rescued along with some of my brothers and sisters at a very young age and spent most of my life in shelters. One of my hobbies is climbing big rocks! I could probably be an agility dog with the right training. I do prefer the low-key lifestyle overall though, and don’t need a lot of exercise to be happy. I am quite shy meeting new people and when in new situations. Sometimes I can be a bit picky about my dog friends as well. But once I made a friend, I love playing with them. Please think about adopting me. I am ready to show a family that I can be a great family member. Asha would do best in a quiet house, with low activity. Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. If you are interested in Asha or one of our other available dogs, please complete an adoption application at http://www.helpinggreyhounds.org/adopt.

Story
Hi there! I’m Ava! I have come a long way to get to the US! Travelling all the way from Oman to be here at Fast Friends. I was rescued off the streets at a very young age with my siblings and mother and have lived most of my life in shelters, but really would love a home of my own. I am 4 years old and weigh approximately 40lbs. I would really like a home that is quiet and understands that it will take me time to adjust to new people and situations. I love to go for walks. My favorite part is to sit down occasionally, so that you can pat me and tell me how good I am doing on our walk. Once I get to know you, I walk great on a leash and my manners are some of the best in the shelter. Please consider adopting me. I’m willing to show just how much love I can show you in a home. Ava is looking for a quiet home, with moderate activity level. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Story
Hi, I’m Angus, I’m a Wadi dog that came from the streets of Oman when I was just a pup. I’ve been living in a shelter for most of my life. I’m now 4 years old and weigh approximately 55lbs. New situations, environments and people can be scary to me, but I promise to make you proud by showing you that I can adjust well, when given patience and love. I am an easy-going boy who doesn’t go wild during play time, I would much rather sleep on my bed, and maybe chew a bone occasionally. Please consider adopting me so that I can share the love I can give to a family of my own. Angus would do best in a quiet house with low activity level. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Story
Hi, I'm Rachel! As you can see from the look in my eyes and the marks on my ears, I've had a rough life so far. I was absolutely down and out, abandoned and sold for meat in China. But all that changed when I was rescued by my friends at Candy Cane Rescue. They saved me and took me in and got me healthy again. Then they sent me way across the ocean to find my new home. I'm very content now, and enjoying all of life's little joys. I love an afternoon nap in a sunbeam on my soft blanket, and those treats they call "Milk Bones" are really just amazing. I'm making friends, and have even been trying out some fun moves in the play yards. My life just keeps getting better, and it will get even better still when I find my forever home.

Story
Hey HEY, Hi! My name is Lizzy! I have been in a shelter for too long, and really need to move into my forever home. At approx. 2 years old, I weigh around 45lbs. I can be a bit shy at first with strangers and would take some time to trust you. Once you have my trust though, I will be your shadow. New places and people can be daunting for me, so I will need someone who understands that slower is better for me. I love to be playful and am a tug of war champion. I can tug with other dogs, or with you, but hold on tight! I know some basic commands, and staff has been working hard to get me to walk nice on leash, but having a home of my own would make it easier for me to understand that concept. Please consider adopting me. I promise you won’t regret it; it probably be the best choice you ever make. Seth at Fast Friends is also tired of staff asking him why I am still here! Lizzy would do well in a quiet to moderate activity level home. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Story
Hey! My name is Izzy and I’ve had quite the adventure to be able to get from Qatar to the US. I hope my adventure ends with me finding a home with you. Most of my life has been spent in a shelter, which is safer than the streets of Qatar, but I really need a quiet place to call my own. I am approx. 2 years old, and weigh 50lbs. I love to play fetch with tennis balls and going for walks to sniff out any critters is one of my favorite things to do. I get so excited that I can’t control how fast I want to go! But staff says I’m getting better at pacing myself for walks. Soooo, I can be a picky eater, and you best have a selection of treats ready for me, or you might be disappointed. Couch potato is my middle name and when it comes to spending my time with you inside, I will gladly occupy a couch / chair to watch some TV with you. Please think about helping me find my new home, if not with you, think about sharing my story with someone who you think might need someone like me in their life. Izzy would do best in a quiet home with low activity. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. If you are interested in Izzy or one of our other available dogs, please complete an adoption application at http://www.helpinggreyhounds.org/adopt
