Story
Bruno was saved from euthanasia at the last minute. He had been picked up as a stray, but even though his owner knew he was at the city shelter, didn't come pick him up. He is a sweetheart. With a little training, he will be a very good boy. He is Shepherd mix and they are very loyal dogs. We have no doubt that he will be someone's best friend.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Once adoption is finalized the pet will be transported to the adopters location for an additional fee (currently $230-$250).* The adoption fee helps to cover some of the cost of vetting the animal prior to adoption (spay/neuter, microchipping, and up to date vaccinations). Please fill out an adoption application to be considered for adoption. https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=ch2817&method=online_form_html&formid=41

Story
Rosie is a super sweet girl that was a stray. She gets along well with all other dogs but sadly no cats... (she likes to chase). She loves her humans and thinks she’s a lap dog. If you sit still, she will climb right up. She acts like a teenager when you tell her no or she’s doing something she’s not supposed to do…she talks back! She's ready for her forever home. If you can give this sweet, silly girl the home that she deserves please fill out our application.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Story
Disclaimer: I am in Texas. I can be transported once adopted. Transport cost is $230. My name is Clyde, I was rescued from the river with my sister (Bonnie). Someone had just decided to dump us both. Despite my rough beginning I'm a very sweet boy, Foster mom says I love lots of attention and pets. I also love snuggling on the couch if you'll let me. I'd do best in a home with other dogs (or puppies). If you think you are that person please apply to adopt me from my foster home in TX.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Story
Disclaimer: I am located in Texas. I can be transported once adopted. Transport fee is $230. I am a high energy girl who loves to run. I do not need a lot of attention, but I love it when I get it. Even though I look like a German Shepherd, I am short and compact like a terrier. I have a slight alpha complex and can be selective of some other dogs, but do get along with most. I would just need to be slowly introduced to other dogs. I am ok on a leash, some tugging, but getting better everyday.*Disclaimer: This pet is located in Texas. Story
And we have the last of the brothers. This is Mocha and he looks identical to  his mother. We have no idea who dad is or what breed he is mixed with.  But you have to admit, he is a great looking dog. Mocha is a friendly guy who would love to be in your company and become a loyal companion. He is 1 year old, approximately 60 pounds and very tolerate of different environments and situations.  He gets along with everyone in his foster home. Mocha walks well on a leash, enjoys going for car rides and he would love to have a home of his own.  He use to have a home with a human but when the lease was up, his human moved and left Mocha and his 2 brothers behind.  Brothers Buck VA and Louie VA are also available for adoption. Mocha has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, rabies and microchipped.  Transport is available across the United States.  Thank you for looking.   ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE.
