Story
Male | 2Y | Mixed Breed | Neutered | UTD on shots | Dog neutral | No cats Not kid tested - likely fine with 12+ | Housebroken | Crate trained | Low energy | Obedience Trained | Takes daily glucosamine This young pup has an old soul! Luciano is a low energy boy who likes to keep to himself mostly. He is happiest in a low traffic home with humans who are happy to both share and give space. He takes a bit of time to warm up to new people - proper introductions and space have been super helpful for Luciano - as well as yummy treats! Once you're in his circle, he'll let you know that he wants pets and attention - otherwise he's happy just existing nearby with some space. Luciano has basic obedience down - and is super smart and food-motivated. He is also fully crate trained (despite not liking it much at the beginning) and his future home should continue using his crate so he always has a safe space when visitors come over and to prevent regressing with separation anxiety. This handsome man is currently living with 2 dogs and co-exists very well, however, cats and smaller pets are off-the-table as his prey drive is quite high. He's not one to play (with toys or his foster siblings), instead he prefers expending his energy by doing some training and going on walks. Speaking of which, this boy walks in a perfect heel! He's currently walking on a prong collar to help when he see pesky critters. Luciano has one back leg that is slightly longer than the other that he takes daily glucosamine for (in the form of treats). It doesn't seem to bother him on the day to day - he's quite happy taking short walks to keep from getting too stiff. Though he may take time to adjust in a new home with new people, Luciano will make an amazing addition to a low traffic home as long as he is provided with ongoing structure and routine, and lots of treats! If you're looking for a smart, loving, low energy pup to add to your family - apply to adopt Luciano today!

🖤FOSTER-TO-ADOPT PANDORA🖤 Female | 5Y | 23 KG | Bully Mix | Spayed | UTD on shots | Good with dogs| Cat tested | Not tested with children Pandora is currently hanging out with our rescue partners in Mexico! She's super excited to find her furever family here in Canada! Pandora is described by her rescuers as noble and affectionate. She loves the company of humans, and also enjoys the company of other dogs! She is described as a medium energy pup, and does jump when she's excited. She loves to sunbathe! Pandora will need a family who is willing to provide all basic training and teach her the ropes of living in a home environment. She has met cats, and is mostly uninterested. She should do well in a home with cats and proper introductions. Pandora has not been tested with children, but we would recommend older children until she has worked on her manners a little! Pandora's flight can be arranged as soon as we find her forever family!

Story
🖤ADOPT ROGER🖤 M | 3Y | 20KG | Mixed Breed | Neutered | UTD on shots | Good with dogs | No cats | Not kid tested | Medium energy | Crate trained | Housebroken | Obedient | Loving | Playful Meet Roger! This little guy is a detective in training. He is currently working on two ongoing cases: There's been a squirrel sighting in his backyard and he's determined to find him and put him behind barks! He patrols the yard until he knows that his family is safe; and, sometimes, that means when his family tells him it's time to come inside. His other case is known as "The Case of the Curious Humans." He's intent on observing the strange habits of his people. He follows them closely until they tell him to stop, then it's time to patiently observe from a distance. This is his favourite case because you never know when they'll want a cuddle or drop a treat. When he's off the clock, Roger loves to play as much as he loves to sleep. His favourite way to play is by himself, but he's also coming to enjoy playing with his foster sister (a much larger dog); although he's still learning to be gentle when he plays, he responds well to corrections when he gets excited. His favourite place to nap is wherever his humans are! After all, someone should be nearby if they suddenly need to urgently rub a belly, scratch a chin, or become desperately cuddle deficient. But when it's bedtime, Roger settles into his self-made blanket fort inside of his crate for a restful night. Roger is food (and toy!) motivated, which makes him an ideal training buddy. He already knows "sit," and "paw," and he's learning "out" quickly as well. He can't wait to meet his forever family and learn even more commands and eat even more treats! Roger also loves going on walks, he's a very energetic boy. He is calm on the leash until he catches sight of a lead on the squirrel investigation. He's always got two eyes (and one ear!) open for any signs of trouble. He needs someone on the other end of the leash to give him a firm signal that his shift is over and it's time to relax and have some fun! (don't we all?) This little goofball can't wait to build a new fort in his furever home and meet the Watson to his Sherlock! Is it you??
