She loves other dogs, enjoys active play, and is happiest with canine companions around. She's also quite the cuddle bug and has a habit of jumping into laps whenever the opportunity presents itself.Because of her past, Lila can be shy when meeting new people and is a bit head-shy. She may hang back initially and needs time to build trust, but she warms up quickly when given patience and gentle reassurance. Her foster describes her as incredibly loving once she knows she's safe.Lila enters her crate willingly, and sees her crate as a safe space. It is suspected that they were abandoned when the previous owner moved. Veronica is a beautiful golden girl, with a pretty white chest and white toe socks. About a year old, she is a skinny 15 pounds. We figure she will top out at 20 pounds or so when she fills out. She is friendly and active, loves attention from her rescuers and happy to stay out of the fray as her brothers chase each other around and splash in the puppy pool. She does love her brothers, and they often end up in a pile as they take their daily naps. Veronica enjoys running in the safety of the back yard of the Rescue and eating regularly.
