Story
We’re looking for a new loving home for our sweet girl. This is not an easy decision for us, and we truly want to find someone who will treat her like family. She is a very well-behaved and gentle dog. She can be a little timid and gets startled easily sometimes, but she is incredibly sweet, quiet, and never aggressive. Once she feels safe, she is very affectionate and loves being around her people. She has a bit of a sensitive stomach, so we don’t switch her food often or give too many treats. As long as she stays on the same food, she does perfectly fine and healthy. She already knows basic commands like sit, shake, and lie down, and she has great recall—she will come back when called. She is easy to manage and has no behavioral issues. She would do best in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and loved. If you think you could be the right home for her, please reach out. We just want her to be happy and well cared for.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Sander and I am a 3-year-old staffie/pittie mix with a soft beautiful brindle coat. I was found as a stray right here in Buffalo and I was living at the Buffalo Animal shelter until my foster mama took me in. Once I get to know you, I will be your best friend, give you endless kisses and snuggle up on your lap even though I weigh almost 60 lbs. I live with three other dogs right now of all different sizes. I really don't like cats, so no kitty friends for me. But I have been friends with every human I have met from big to small. I love running outside and belly rubs galore. I am  ready for a family of my own if you are ready for a lifetime of loyalty and love you can apply for me today at @buffalocares.org Adoption Fee: $425.00 RR48  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.  If interested in learning more or adopting please fill out an application on our website at www.buffalocares.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Hermes If you’re looking for the perfect dog… you might’ve just found him. I’m a 2-year-old boy, fully vetted and ready to find my forever home! I’m a super affectionate pup who loves being close to my human—wherever you go, I’ll happily follow. Whether you’re cooking, working, or relaxing, I’ll be right there by your side. I absolutely love to cuddle and will snuggle up as close as possible (yes, I’m the kind of dog who sleeps pressed right up against you ). I’m also a quick learner! I picked up “sit” in just two days, and I already have great manners on walks. I like to stay right by your side and match your pace—no pulling, no chaos, just a calm and enjoyable stroll together. At home, I’m easygoing and well-behaved. I don’t chew on furniture or get into trouble, and I’m fully house-trained. When I need to go outside, I’ll politely let you know. I also love spending time in the yard, running around and soaking up the joy of being a dog. I get along with everyone—dogs, cats, and humans alike. I’m friendly, gentle, and just genuinely love being around others. And let’s be honest… I LOVE food. Mealtime is definitely one of my favorite parts of the day! If you’re looking for a loyal companion, a cuddle expert, and an all-around amazing dog, I’m ready to be your best friend. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi!  My name is Rosie and I am beautiful brindle ,American Pitbull terrier/mix.  I am a very sweet and loving girl.  My foster parents like to call me Miss. Piggy because when I get excited I snort a little! You see, I’m just your happy-go-lucky best friend in the making! I find joy in the simple things—laying in the grass, playing with my little puppy buddy next door, taking short strolls, or proudly destuffing toys like it’s an Olympic sport. And cuddles? Always a yes. But if you really want to see me light up, give me a ball. I’ll play for hours, making the most ridiculous noises that, sound like a mix between a seal and a pig! I might cry a little when I can’t reach it or playtime ends, but I’m also perfectly content curling up in my crate for a long nap. I may be getting older, but my heart is forever young and full of love you think I would be a good fit for your home please apply today @buffalocares.org My adoption fee is $425.00 RR48  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.  If interested in learning more or adopting please fill out an application on our website at www.buffalocares.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Minnie – Over a YEAR of Love, Growth, and Cuddles! Hi there, I’m Minnie! It’s been over a year since my foster parents found me—lost, lonely, and hungry on the streets of Buffalo. Since then, I’ve come a long way, and they’ve learned so much about who I truly am: a snuggly, kissy, happy girl with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life! &#226&#156&#168 Here’s what they’ve discovered about me: I’m full of energy and joy but also the best napping buddy. I love to curl up and relax with my people. I didn’t even know what kibble was at first, but now I enjoy my meals and snacks—especially veggies, pumpkin, apples, and tasty treats! I’m potty trained! It took a little time, but I’ve nailed it now. I love walks, playing with my flirt pole, doing puzzles for treats, and working on training. I’ve even completed a 7-week training course to help me feel more confident around other dogs! I know lots of commands like sit, come inside, leave it, crate, come up, lay down, and find my bone. I might need an occasional reminder, but I’m eager to please. I’m a sweetheart when my humans are feeling down—nothing a cuddle and a gentle kiss can’t fix. I patiently sit for veggie snacks while my foster mom cooks and never sneak food from the counter! I get along well with my foster sister, but I’d really thrive as the only pet in the home where I can be your one and only. ♥&#239&#184&#143 If I could ask for just one thing from my future forever family, it would be patience. My past may be unknown, but I do know I wasn’t truly loved—until now. I’m ready to give you all the affection, loyalty, and joy I have to offer. If you think we’re meant to be, apply to meet me at BuffaloCares.org. I’ll be waiting with open paws and a wagging tail! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! My name is Rascal Jr., and — I love everyone I meet! Humans, dogs big or small… if you’ve got a heartbeat, I’m your friend. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 I’m a two-year-old bundle of fun with energy that’s absolutely contagious. Playtime? Count me in! Whether I’m chasing squeaky toys, bounding around the yard, or wrestling with my dog friends, I’m always ready for action. I thrive on interaction and attention — and yes, I really love attention. Oh! And let’s talk about water… because water is my JAM! A hose, sprinkler, kiddie pool, lake, stream — if it splashes, I’m in it. I’ll be your official summertime adventure buddy. My foster mom says I’m super smart, and I can’t argue with that. I’m potty-trained and will politely sit by the door when I need to go out. I walk great on a leash and truly enjoy my daily strolls. I’ve even had some formal training — and I excelled because I love to please my people. I’m crate trained and think my crate is pretty cozy… but I also won’t say no to hopping up on the bed for a nap. I share my toys, I cuddle with other pups, and I just genuinely love being part of the fun. I’m a balanced, well-trained, affectionate guy who’s ready to keep thriving in a forever home that will cherish me the way I deserve.  I’m a joyful, loyal companion ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and lots of splashes. If you’re looking for an energetic, well-mannered best friend, I might just be your perfect match.
