Story
HEWWWO!!!!!!!! My name is Copper and I am the houndiest hound who has ever hounded! I love snacks and attention, which make working on my training a breeze! I am not a fan of being by myself, so I would do best with a family who is home a lot, or can take me with them on adventures! I like the other dogs I have met here at Heartland, however I should meet any potential siblings before I come home with you. If I sound like a good fit, ask to meet me, Copper today!

This cuddly companion loves being close to his person 24/7.Things Pepper Jack Loves:Bath time! He gets so excited that he bites at the water and cries with pure joy. He`s incredibly food motivated, which makes training fun. He already knows sit, lay down, paw, hug, wait, come, and `pee` on command. He responds beautifully to positive reinforcement and is eager to learn more.He loves car rides, playing fetch for hours, and adventures of any kind. This boy thrives with people who are home during the day and can continue his training journey, especially with leash skills.Ask about meeting Pepper Jack since he`s in foster care! Story
Hello there, my name is Pixel! I came to Heartland as a stray, so not much is known about my past. My friends here have noted that I love to play fetch, eat snacks, and get full body pets. I can get mouthy when I get excited, which is pretty standard for my breed. I have met a few dogs here at Heartland, and I can be picky about my canine companions. So I will need to meet any potential siblings before going home with you.

Story
Meet Dewey, our small senior with a big personality. Dewey is a cautious dog who has had to protect himself over the years. He wants to love but still feels the need to be vigilant and defensive. He loves to play keep away with his toys and loves to run in the fields of his foster home. He loves his walks and gets super excited if he sees other dogs. Dewey loves strangers and will jump up as high as his little body can to say hi. Dewey allows people to pick him up. He allows petting but not cuddling or hugging him. He does love to be brushed and will give you his tummy once he settles and feels safe with you. Sleeping under a blanket at night is important doe Dewey. His adopter will need to be patient and understand trust with little Dewey will take time.Dewey is in foster care, so interested adopters will need to reach out to our foster care coordinator to schedule meets. Our foster care coordinator can be reached at emilyd@heartlandhumane.orgDewey`s adoption fee is $150 and an additional $20 licensing fee for Benton County residents.

Story
Meet Meatloaf ???? — a pit bull mix with a heart as big as his name.Meatloaf is extremely sweet, deeply affectionate, and fully convinced he’s a lap dog (he is… spiritually). He loves people, cuddles hard, and will happily be your shadow. He’s still working on basic manners—think “enthusiastic greetings” and “learning that four paws on the floor is a lifestyle”—but he’s eager to learn and very food-motivated (shocking, we know). If you’re looking for a lovable goofball who will make you laugh daily and reward a little training with a lot of love, Meatloaf is ready to serve. ?????Adoption fee is $225
