Milo is a polite house guest—he’s house-trained, well-mannered, and knows how to settle down. He especially loves the company of small dogs and is very comfortable around cats. Meet Gelato 🍦 We adopted Gelato when he was just 8 weeks old from a local rescue, and he turned 3 in August 2025. He is a handsome, strong, and playful dog who loves to run, play, and make friends with other dogs. He’s protective and can be a little nervous at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly sweet. He thrives in an environment where he gets a lot of attention, and feels part of the family. His ideal new family would continue to train and socialize him, and give him plenty of exercise. He would do especially well with someone that already has a dog, or who enjoys being outdoors and can give him consistent exercise on hikes or walks. Gelato is a wonderful dog with so much love to give ❤️ P.S. Adoption fee is not to make money, but to ensure the adopter is serious. This fee will be donated to the animal shelter 🐶

He will do well in a house with structure. Does best with older kids (he likes his personal space). He enjoys all of the petting and scratching on his chest. He will make a great companion once he has found his best friend/family. Last physical 9/26, UTD on vaccines, heartworm and Lyme negative, microchipped, and neutered.
