Story

Arlo is good with people, and he is 6 years old. He can be aggressive with other animals though. Recently he had an incident with a cat he has lived with all of his life. I work 7am to 7pm on most days, and unfortunately he is the product of a divorce. Arlo needs more room to run, more attention, and it seems that he would be better in a single animal home, however he might just need a change. He is very loving (lots of kisses/licks). This is heart breaking but unfortunately it is unsustainable and not fair to him. I would love to find him a great home where he can be the awesome dog that I truly know he is.

He hasn’t had much interaction with other dogs, so slow introductions would be best if you have pets. His story is a typical one in the South. He was picked up as a stray in Shreveport, La when he was just a little baby and brought to a high-kill shelter. We know the odds of him having a happily ever after were not very good. Mac is fully vetted (vaccines/microchipped/neutered). He is good with other dogs (as long as not dominant), cats unknown, and really good with kids! He is a sweet boy that just wants to be loved and appreciated. He is also housebroken and crate trained.
