Looking to rehome our girl Grimmace 😞 Grimmace is 3 years old in October, she is spayed, has her first round of shots, and is potty and crate trained. She’s a Jack Russel and pitbull mix. She is such a loving cuddle bug and so smart. However, Within the past few months she has started to have aggression towards her mom. We’ve talked to different experts about it and we’ve come to the conclusion that it is litter syndrome (even though they are mother and daughter and not from the same litter) but most likely because Grimmace was the only puppy. We’ve done everything in our power to correct it with no avail 😕. So we’ve made the decision that for both of their safety and quality of life we need to find her a new home where she is the ONLY pet within the home. If interested please message me! Freya is a magnificent Caucasian Shepherd with a huge heart for her human interaction. She is deeply affectionate, loves every person she meets (Especially Kids), and will gladly lean her massive body against you for attention and companionship. She is an expert at making strangers pet her belly. Because of her guardian breed background, Freya takes her personal space seriously with other dogs. She has another dog in the home and is fine with him after a couple weeks. While she is wonderful with humans and her "brother", she does not appreciate rude or in-your-face canine behavior and needs an owner who will manage her interactions and respect her boundaries. She is a strong dog, and weighs about 140lbs. She needs a strong person to be a good leader for her. A fenced in yard is a must. She is good at finding gaps in the fence and is very smart. She does best in colder climates. I am willing to drive her any distance to a good home. She is the best protector I have ever seen.
