URGENT Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Wytheville, VA Meet Raylan! He is an 1 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 90 lbs. He is up to date on shots (except for rabies), but isn’t neutered or on heartworm prevention. Raylan is fearful of strangers. He is good with kids and cats! No dogs, due to his reactivity! Raylan is crate-trained and housebroken. He has separation anxiety. His owner says he is a hyper and loving dog! The owner is surrendering him because he attacked her 12 year old Schnauzer and gave her serious injuries. He needs to go immediately! If you think you can provide a great home for Raylan, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Raylan. Owner’s Contact Information: Shelley Talley at (276) 200-7263 or shelleytalley1981@gmail.com.

Story
Daisy is a dog who loves to be outside! She does not need to be leashed, she's a very good listener and has always come back to us, never leaving the yard. If you are someone who loves to be outside and just relax, work in your garden, sit on your porch, read, go for a walk.. then Daisy is the dog for you! She's very relaxed when inside and very energetic outside. She loves to chase and chew, so have some bones handy and she will be so happy!

Story
We are looking to rehome our 3-year old girl Fiona. She is having aggression issues with the other two dogs in our home and have resolved that the best recourse is to find her a place where she, our pack and my wife and I are more at ease. We have had her since she was a pup. We feel she would be best as the only dog in the home so the jealousy/aggression issues don't recur. They have only appeared after 2 1/2 years in our home and I would hate for this to happen to someone else down the line. She is AKC registered, chipped, spayed and up-to-date on her veterinary care and immunizations. She is very sweet, active and playful. She knows her basic commands, come, sit, stay and can leash walk (though she could use more practice to get that right). She has no existing health issues and is a supermodel in Golden form. We live in Hardy, Virginia, just south of Roanoke.

Story
My sister purchased Lucy from a breeder in Oct. She is now 6 mo old. My brother-in-law's terminal cancer makes it impossible for them to keep her & we have 3 large dogs in the home already, but we are fostering her, socializing her, & training her while she is with us. Lucy is sweet, smart, & very energetic as a Lab puppy should be! She came home with us 3 days ago... from the quiet country life to the city. She has already had MANY new experiences, so sometimes it feels like a lot for her, but she is learning, adjusting & improving daily. We play training games, walk with the "pack", romp in the yard, & are learning that indoors is for gentle activity. She is crate trained, & will whine when she needs to potty. She is a great traveler. She is very good with some of her commands & learning others. Sit. Down. Wait. Heel. Come. She deserves a family that can continue her training, walks & play time. She will be an EXCELLENT pet for some lucky person or family.

Story
Letty is an amazing dog and the best cuddler I have had her for 1 month and it is very hard to make this post, but she doesn't get along with other dogs/cats. I was told differently when adopting her. My girlfriend and I currently have a 11 y/o small dog and she doesn't do well with him or other dogs that have been introduced. Im making this post in hopes for her to find a home where she can be the only animal and make the right person happy and be the dog that I know she can be. She is a very energetic dog and loves to run and chase tennis balls so she would definitely need someone who is active or someone who has a decent sized yard. She is a perfect dog house wise she loves to cuddle and sleep and also watch tv. I hope the right person reads this and you fall in love with her through a screen just like we did.

Story
Sweet dog that loves his family, but needs more attention than we can give. Not good with small children but completely devoted to his owners. Can pee on carpeted areas if not taken outside often enough. We have a busy life with lots of visitors. He would do very well with owners that want a lap dog and need company. Very pretty dog and really loving. Crate trained and always sleeps through the night.
