Story
Sweet Mouse is looking for his second chance, the kind of home where patience, kindness, and understanding can help him blossom into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be. Mouse hasn’t had the easiest start to life, and he’s still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. With the people he trusts, though, he’s an absolute sweetheart, affectionate, goofy, and eager to please. Once you meet him, you’ll see just how much love this boy has to give. Mouse loves other dogs and would do best in a home with canine companions who can show him the ropes. He gains confidence from his dog friends and truly shines when he’s part of a pack. He’s looking for an adult-only home, where things stay calm and predictable, and no cats, please, they’re a bit too interesting for him! Mouse is absolutely adorable and just wants to be a good boy. With time, training, and gentle guidance, he’s going to make someone a truly loyal and loving companion.

Story
Meet Paisley Petty! 🐾🌸 Paisley Petty is a senior beagle mix with a soft heart, a charming little personality, and just enough sass to keep life interesting. She came to us from a local open-intake animal control with some skin issues that we’re working through, and she’s been a trooper every step of the way. Even on her tougher days, Paisley remains sweet, patient, and endlessly lovable. As a distinguished older lady, Paisley isn’t chasing chaos or marathons, she’s all about the finer things in life now: cozy beds, leisurely strolls, gentle affection, and quiet companionship. She has the cutest little quirks that make her impossible not to smile at, whether it’s her thoughtful expressions or the way she politely soaks up attention. Paisley is looking for a calm, peaceful retirement home where she can finally relax and be adored the way she deserves. Her adorable looks are perfectly matched by her tender, affectionate nature, making her the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart. If you’re searching for a loyal couch companion with a sprinkle of personality and a whole lot of love to give, Paisley Petty is ready to settle into her forever home. 🏡🐶💛

Story
Harley is a large, mid-aged boxer mix with a heart just as big as his paws. He was surrendered to the shelter due to ongoing skin issues that his previous family was unfortunately unable to seek care for. Since arriving in our care, Harley has been receiving consistent veterinary treatment and is healing well, both physically and emotionally. Through it all, Harley has remained the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He’s calm, well-mannered, and incredibly gentle, with the kind of soul that immediately puts you at ease. He has previously lived with kids, cats, and other dogs, and did great with everyone, making him a wonderful fit for a family looking for an easygoing companion. After everything he’s been through, Harley is simply searching for a soft couch, steady love, and a family to call his own again. He’s more than ready to settle into the life he truly deserves, one filled with comfort, care, and endless snuggles.

Story
Meet Minerva! 🐾💜 Minerva is a young, medium-to-large female dog who landed with us through no fault of her own, her previous housing rules didn’t allow dogs. Now she’s on the hunt for a new forever home where she can unpack her bags and stay put. At first meet, Minerva may be a little shy, giving you that cautious, thoughtful look as she decides if you’re friend material. Spoiler alert: you are. With just a little kindness, she opens up into an incredibly sweet, docile girl who quickly transforms into a playful, happy-go-lucky pup with a contagious joy for life. She does well with other dogs and enjoys playtime, especially when it involves running, bouncing, and showing off her goofy side. Minerva is likely potty trained, very well-mannered, and let’s be honest, extremely adorable. She has that perfect mix of gentle soul and playful spark that makes her easy to love. If you’re looking for a loving companion who starts off polite and ends up stealing your heart (and probably your couch), Minerva would make a perfect addition to your family.

Story
Maxwell is a 7-year-old boy who has not had an easy start to life, but we are absolutely determined to make sure the rest of his story is filled with comfort, love, and happiness. As a puppy, Maxwell suffered a serious leg injury that was never treated. For years, he lived with pain and limited mobility. Despite many efforts, surgeries, and consultations, we couldn’t undo the damage done so long ago, and the kindest choice was to amputate his injured leg. The good news? Maxwell has adapted beautifully. Since he wasn’t able to use the leg much before, he’s already moving better and seems more comfortable and relieved without the constant pain and extra weight. He’s learning that life feels pretty good now. Maxwell enjoys attention from his people, playing with toys, going for walks, splashing around in water, and, perhaps his favorite, lounging on a soft, cozy bed. He’s a loyal, loving guy who would thrive as the one and only pet, as other dogs just aren’t really his thing. Maxwell is looking for someone who will see his resilience, his strength, and his heart, and give him the safe, loving home he has always deserved. His past doesn’t define him, but his future could be incredible… with you
