Story
APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Buster is a 12-pound, 9-year-old Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix who came to us when his previous owner, who had many animals, could no longer provide the care he needed. Despite this difficult transition, Buster has adapted to his new environment with his foster parents. In the evening when its chill time or TV time, Buster will relax on the couch with you, or in his crate, (man-cave), or in a nice comfy dog bed. Buster is a healthy and active dog with plenty of energy to run and play in a yard. He loves darting around and having a great time. He is not only friendly with people but also gets along well with other dogs. Buster is crate trained, house trained, and sleeps through the night. He is already neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. To ensure Buster's happiness, we believe the best home for him would be one with a fenced yard and a companion dog around his size. Having a playmate who is up for romping around and playing would be ideal for Buster's energetic nature.  If you are looking for a loving and lively companion, Buster might be the perfect fit for you. Story
APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Donny is a 14-pound, black, male Miniature Poodle who recently came to us from a less than ideal situation. His previous owner was overwhelmed with too many pets. Despite his past, Donny is a sweet and affectionate dog who loves people, although he may be a bit timid at first. Foster dad can atest, with time and patience, he quickly realizes that he is safe and begins to open up. He is currently learning the ropes of being a dog and is eager to experience all the joys that life has to offer. One area where Donny needs some extra support is walking on a leash. Unfortunately, he never had the opportunity to learn this skill in his previous environment. However, he is eager to learn and is already becoming familiar with a harness. With a little time and practice, he will be happily strolling alongside his loved ones and enjoying outings in the neighborhood. In addition to leash training, Donny would also benefit from having a secure fenced-in yard. This would allow him to run freely, play with kids, and have the company of another companion dog. Having a safe space to romp around and be himself will further contribute to his overall happiness and well-being. Donny is crate trained and is good with other dogs, and he leaves cats alone. His demeanor is gentle and loveable and we think he would be good with children older than 7 but not sure about younger tots. Paws for Seniors Rescue Dogs are Spay/Neutered, current on Rabies and Distemper Vaccinations, Microchipped, Dewormed, Heartworm and Lyme Bourn Disease tested as well as Baseline Blood Analysis. They also receive an intake wellness exam where other possible ailments are identified. If you are a patient and loving family who is willing to give Donny the time and attention he needs to adjust and learn, he could be the perfect addition to your home.     Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. Story
APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Clayton is a 5-year old, 13-pound Bichon/Maltese. Despite his challenging past, Clayton is a normal and lovable little guy who adores people and gets along well with other dogs. We believe he would thrive in a home with older children who can engage in active playtime with him. Additionally, Clayton would benefit greatly from having a companion dog of a similar size and he requires a secure fenced in yard. He will also need a patient and dedicated family who are willing to continue his training and help him adjust to the routines of a loving household. Clayton is a sweet and affectionate pup who simply needs someone to show him the ropes and provide him with the stability he deserves. Paws for Seniors Rescue Dogs are Spay/Neutered, current on Rabies and Distemper Vaccinations, Microchipped, Dewormed, Heartworm and Tick Bourn Disease tested as well as Baseline Blood Analysis. They also receive an intake wellness exam where other possible ailments are identified. If you are looking for a loyal and loving companion, consider opening your hearts and home to Clayton. With your help, we can give him the second chance at happiness that he truly deserves.   Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet.
