Story

BMO is 9 months old. He’s a very curious, persistent, sweet boy who likes morning cuddles. He is shy and skittish so he’s not a big fan of being picked up. He likes play biting (a lot). Gets bored quickly and isn’t interested in many toys so he needs you to play with him yourself. Very very very food motivated. His favorite treats are churu tubes and temptations. He’s been amazing and I love him so much but I recently moved back in with my mother for the time being who is very sick. She doesn’t like cats and I feel so bad having him stay cooped up in my room only. Between work, taking care of my mother, and grad school, I’m hurting that he’s not getting the full time and attention that he deserves, so I figured giving him a new home where he has room to run and maybe some siblings will do him well. He hasn’t done too well around kids yet so I can’t say how he’ll be going forward.

Story

Seymour is a friendly, affectionate and quiet but very orange cat. He is 3 and a half years old. His birthday is April 2, 2021. He weighs about 15lbs. Seymour enjoys spending time in the living room and near the bedroom. He mostly plays gently but sometimes plays roughly. He enjoys chasing bugs/moths if he sees any. Enjoys a carpet/fabric scratching post. He is used to an uncovered litter box. I’m a mother of bearded dragons and geckos and Seymour is always extremely curious about them. He normally just sits and watches them but whenever I take them out to give them baths, he tries to play with them and tends to be rough. I love him dearly but I’ve had my reptile babies longer and am having a hard time training Seymour to be more gentle with his cold-blooded siblings. With his adoption, I’ll include any leftover food I have as well as his dishes and toys that he loves to play with so you’re not just getting him without any preparation.

Snowball was a kitten I rescued from outside. Her mother was a stray that usually came around the house and eventually got friendly. She eventually had snowball as a lone kitten, but the mother died of illness. I unfortunately now have to remove Snowball

Story

A feral cat delivered a litter of five kittens in our neighbor's yard in late July last year. In early September we trapped them one at a time, and took them inside to protect them from the cold and the many predators (and traffic) in our neighborhood. Four are now living in our home (one was adopted), but George and Jayne, trapped in mid-October, haven't had as much human contact as their siblings did, and have taken longer to be socialized. They come up onto our laps for treats and we can pet them then, but still aren't comfortable being picked up. They also love being brushed and become purring machines. They have all of their shots, and both are fixed. Due to financial concerns, no space in our home, and family allergies, we can't keep all of these adorable 10-month olds. They need a loving, patient, experienced adopter to fully socialize them into the mellow house cats and lap cats they'll certainly become.
