Story
** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Hi, I'm Sweetie! I'm about 8 years old and weigh 11 pounds. I have a medical waiver that staff will tell you all about when you come to meet me! Do you like...Dogs? I don't like to share my stuff or my people, so I need to be the only pup in the home. Cats? I've lived with a kitty before and may be able to live with a new feline friend with slow introductions. Kids? I'm an older gal who enjoys her peace and quiet, and would do best in a more mature household. Anything else you'd like us to know, Sweetie? My previous owner passed away, and I've gone through a lot of change in a short period of time. I would love a family who can give me the time and space needed to adjust to a new life. A cozy little spot on the couch beside you while we watch tv would be a bonus! I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. See all of the pets at this shelter by visiting www.green-hill.org.

Ruff Ruff! I'm Joey girl! I was named after Joe Jonas, from the Jonas Brothers! That's right...I'm a groupie! I'm a big personality in a little body! I roughly am about 13 pounds! I'm the sweetest gal pal to have around. I love affection, and will give you kisses right on the lips! My aim is perfection! I'll even hold your face with my little paws while I kiss you! I'm very romantic! Rawrrr! I like to go on car rides, I'm small enough to carry around or I'll jump right in on my own! I also LOVE pupcups from the Starbucks Drive-Thru! I love other doggie friends, BIG and small! I like to play though, so sometimes I'm fine with a more playful friend. I currently am in a pack with 4 others! I go out with them and I play nicely and go potty. I wait by the door to be let back in, sometimes I'll even scratch at the door to let you know I'm waiting! Watch me play here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eWVmqYVg4nQ I'm also crate trained, although I don't really love being in there. I'd rather be RIGHT next to you in your arms! I'm almost fully potty trained! Yipee! If you call me, I'll come running to you! My recall is excellent! Wolf! I'd love to be a solo dog, but I'm also great with other dogs. I'm perfect for an apartment or a home with a yard. I'm great on a leash too, so I can go on adventures with you. Small enough to pack up and go with you anywhere! Teehee! Pick me and click on my application link and we will go from there! I promise to give you an endless amount of kisses for a lifetime! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
Hi. My name is Waffle. I am between 10-12 years old. I adore children, belly rubs, and napping in the sun or in your lap. I follow my foster mom around the house to let her know I would love some attention. I have settled into my foster home well and use the doggy door with my other dog friends in my foster home. I have some limited vision but I get around just fine. I would love a family who will love and spoil me for the rest of my life. I would especially love a home with respectful children or grandchildren who will give me attention. My tail always wags when a child comes close and gives me bellly rubs or pats on the head. Would you please adopt me into your family?

Story
We adopted Jax from a family friend about 5 years ago. He is 7 years old. We no longer have the time for him. He would make the perfect dog for an elderly couple or single elderly person. He absolutely loves snuggles and would love to be pet and held all day long if he could. He is a laid back dog. He does bark when he gets excited when we come home.

Story
Fanny is an adorable little girl pup with a patch over her eye from our "Western Litter." Her mom, Cowgirl, was found as a pregnant stray and rescued out of California and had her puppies in a foster home. Here's a little about Fanny: - Can go home with her new family on May 5th and be visited in her foster home in the meantime. - Date of birth is 3/7/24 and she currently weighs 2lbs at 6 weeks old. Her mom is 19.8lbs full of milk still. - We are not entirely sure of breed mix because we only have mom dog to reference. She appears to be part Jack Russell Terrier maybe some Chihuahua if we were guessing. - Momma dog is a low rider with a long body, short legs, giant adorable years and a scruffy coat. Mom dog is laid back and very sweet and affectionate. She has been a wonderful momma and never gotten snippy with her puppies. She is very patient and nurturing. We are not sure what dad dog is but expect these puppies to mature to under 25lbs and be small breed adults. We are looking for patient, committed puppy adopters who realize taking on a very young puppy requires a lot of time, effort and training. Puppies are working on potty training in foster and getting excellent socialization with other gentle small breed dogs and exposure to a backyard with green grass and lots of things to sniff and play in. Adoption fee includes spay surgery at our partner vet clinic in SW Portland in August, microchip, first vaccine, multiple rounds of dewormer and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee also includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland or Tualatin. $450 adoption fee Fostered in Vancouver, Washington APPLY TO ADOPT ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG
