Story
Juno is a loving, house-mannered, reliably potty-trained 7 year old pom with a gentle heart and a nervous soul. She’s looking for a quiet, calm home where she can finally feel safe. She can be anxious at first and is very bark-reactive when startled or overwhelmed, but she has no aggression whatsoever. Because of her vocal anxiety, she is not apartment-friendly and does best in peaceful, low-noise homes. Once comfortable, Juno is affectionate, silly, and loves staying close to her people—often quietly underfoot. Her crate is her safe space; she sleeps there at night and chooses it when she needs downtime. She is friendly with adults, calm older children (young kids scare her), cats, and other calm dogs. She walks well on a leash (harness only). Juno had corrective surgery for luxating patellas 4 years ago and is fully healed and healthy. Strict weight management is essential to protect her knees. No jumping, limited stairs, traction floors & assistance onto furniture are required.

Story
Brody is a very friendly boy when I comes to kids and people! He does well with female and neutered male dogs but does not care for unnuetered males. He needs somewhere he can run. I mean he is technically a farmer dog. When I got him, I was unaware of how much exercise and attention his breed needs. He loves cuddles & attention!

Story
Peps is a very nice, active and sweet silver purebred lab. I know this breed well. She is apparently well trained and responds to common verbal commands. She is active and energetic, better suited as a field dog. I have a service animal for a disability. I thought she would fit in and help my own dog with his separation anxiety, but he has become protective of me. It is clear he won't stop that innate behavior. It is also clear she won't stop pushing for dominance. This is a matter of priorities. I like Peps. I need my service dog for my health. Peps is outstanding! I wouldn't have taken her in if I didn't see that. I didn't anticipate my dog's protective dynamic, but I do respect his behavior. She would be better placed in a sporting home so she can flush and retrieve game. Her apparent instinct for that is outstanding. She comes with vet records and crate (which she loves). I have not seen it, but I understand she is good with kids, but impatient with being handled inappropriately.
