Story
King is a great 9 year old dog. He likes to cuddle and lay on you. He likes to sit outside on the deck and chill. He likes cool weather and will stay outside all day as long as he has water. He is very friendly to people that you are comfortable with. He likes to be rubbed and kissed on. He will fetch a ball if you throw it and he loves playing tug of war. He has always had skin allergies since he was born, so his hair tends to fall out especially in the summer. It does better in the winter. I have never known him to be aggressive unless he is being protective of you.

Story
Beatrice (or Bea) is very sweet. She likes bananas, chicken, playing outside, running and jumping. She can be very shy but will warm up to strangers eventually. She is very intelligent, able to learn fairly easily and uses a button to request to go outside and to request water. She needs a home with a more active lifestyle and/or more free time. I have a very busy schedule and another dog, sadly I’m not able to give her the attention she needs. She also needs a home with no other dogs or animals as she is food aggressive (with dogs not people) and a home with a high fence or long tether if possible. She is very athletic and can jump up to 4.5 feet so she would be great for any type of sporting or working role. She is scared of dog parks but has had some success at the daycare I used to take her to, Dogtopia. She comes with all supplies needed for taking care of her.

Story
Bronny is very playful. He does not cuddle , but he is protective and loves to lay at people’s feet. He will follow you around the house. He loves being active. He would swim all day in lakes if I let him. He does great with other dogs- he actually is calming down and doesn’t act like a puppy anymore. At the dog park he’s been mostly sniffing around. He loves walks. He rarely barks. He doesn’t bark on walks or around other dogs. He sometimes barks in his kennel when it’s time for breakfast or at night if he thinks there’s someone lurking around the house. Only ever chewed one or 2 things when he was a puppy. Never chewed shoes or furniture. We don’t have a fenced in yard so he’s on a yard leash when he’s out. I’ve let him off leash walking in the woods before and he did well.

Story
**Think this dog might be for you? The first step is to complete an application: http://www.mominpinrescue.org/p/adoption-application_30.html We do not arrange transport for our dogs. If your application is approved, you will be required to come to us to pick up your dog.** Coco is 11 years old and she's diabetic, but not on a special diet, as per our vet's recommendation. Her insulin dosage is 5 units of 40u insulin once a day with breakfast. She absolutely loves all food and treats, but with diabetes, the amount she eats each day would need to be carefully controlled! She has diminished eyesight in one eye, but so far, her other eye is clear. She will follow her person around the house and is almost always in the same room. After a while, she will really warm up and is quite affectionate. However, because of this, she would probably do best in a home where she is the only dog because she gets territorial of her space with her person. Not physically aggressive, but a lot of barking. She will also bark at your face when she wants your attention and to be petted. Because of her diabetes, she is mostly pad trained, but she will not hold it, so she needs someone with patience and preferably very free access to a fenced-in yard. Someone who is home with her most of the time would be ideal. Located in St. Louis, her adoption fee is $65..
