Story
Meet Texas — a sweet, loyal, snuggly girl who wants nothing more than to be your shadow. She’s house-trained, knows basic commands (sit, stay, come, heel, place), and doesn’t need a crate. Texas is great with confident dogs who respect her space, though she might overwhelm timid pets. She plays rough and doesn’t always realize her size, so a home without young kids is best. She isn’t food-aggressive with people or respectful dogs, but she will claim unattended food. She typically ignores cats unless they challenge her. Texas is protective and may react to yelling or horseplay by stepping in to “help,” so she’s best in a calm but active home. Thunderstorms make her seek comfort, and she does best on a harness or prong collar for walks. She’s reliable off-leash, always staying close. If you’re looking for a protective, affectionate companion who loves big hugs and being by your side, Texas might just be your perfect match.

Story
Im looking to rehome my sweet girl Mocha. I love her to death but she deserves so much better than what I can give her. I currently live alone and my work schedule is not steady enough to get her into a routine. She was potty trained on pads and will go outside but retraining her to stop going inside has been a challenge. I dont want to lock her in a crate for 8 to 12 hours while I work. She is not spayed since I haven't had the time but if thats something you'd like I will totally pay for the spay. I have her vaccination records, dog food, a leash and her favorite toys. She is the absolute sweetest girl. She is a window watcher. Be careful playing fetch as she may force you to continue for hours. She has been deeply loved. She is a furry ball of love. She is also incredibly smart.

Story
**Think this dog might be for you? The first step is to complete an application: http://www.mominpinrescue.org/p/adoption-application_30.html We do not arrange transport for our dogs. If your application is approved, you will be required to come to us to pick up your dog.** Kenji was described by the shelter as a Boston Terrier, and we agree with that, but he seems taller and lankier than a Boston with those long legs! We think he could be part Boxer or a "Boxton." He weighs about 17 pounds and is about 3 years old. When we got him, he was heartworm-positive but has been treated and has tested heartworm-negative. He is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and on heartworm preventative. He is a very sweet dog, but would not do well with cats, or smaller dogs. He has not been tested with children. Kenji is located in St. Louis, and his adoption fee is $260.
